Missoula-based honky-tonk group, the Barncat Country Band, returns to the Draught Works murphy stage on Thursday, October 26 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
Guitarist Jamie Drysdale and mandolinist David McMeekin have been belting out harmonies together since they were kids. After years of playing in bluegrass bands together, they decided it was time to go honky-tonk. In 2021 they hooked up with high-energy fiddler, Peter Gurche and piano wizard Adin Kloetzel, and Barncat was born. Expect an unforgettable night filled with a rowdy mix of country, western swing, and bluegrass.
Our Mission:The Missoula Underground is a hyper-local blog about the best the Missoula area has to offer: food/beverages, music, events, activities, local people and business.
Hyper-local means we don’t write about anything that isn't owned or locally managed or operated in the Missoula area. No corporate chains or businesses operated by investment groups from out of Montana.
We have a growing all-volunteer team of bloggers and contributors. We’re here because we care about our beloved Missoula area and want to showcase the best of what's here and what we love to do.
