Head to the ZACC between 5 and 8 PM on Friday, December 1 to experience a magical holiday wonderland! Our Annual Holiday Open House includes a variety of free – and really fun – activities for all ages, including a paint-your-own-pottery, ornament station, screen-printing demos (bring your own tee!), winter card-making and collages, and various holiday selfie stations.
Locally beloved musician Josh Farmer will be playing holiday tunes on the grand piano in our venue, The Show Room, for families to carol along – and attendees will be able to warm up with a free hot cider, or purchase a beverage from the Show Room bar, serving beer, wine, cider, and non-alcoholic options.
In addition to these awesome and totally free festivities, the ZACC & Friends Holiday Show opens that night in the Main Gallery, with a variety of artwork made with love by artists who love the ZACC. This show includes dozens of local artists with works spanning all price points – there really is something for everyone! Additionally, ‘Secret Garden Series: Seasons Change’, works by painter and multi-media artist Heather Stockton will be featured in our Blackfoot Communications Gallery, and ‘Grotesqueries: A Conglomeration of Aberrant Artworks.’, by emerging artist Ev Spencer, will be featured in our Youth Gallery.
Last but certainly not least, the ZACC Artist Shop (full of thoughtful, locally-made gifts) will be open and stocked with perfect presents for anyone on your list.
The ZACC Holiday Open House is totally free — and donations to support ZACC community programs are always appreciated!
Our Mission:The Missoula Underground is a hyper-local blog about the best the Missoula area has to offer: food/beverages, music, events, activities, local people and business.
Hyper-local means we don’t write about anything that isn't owned or locally managed or operated in the Missoula area. No corporate chains or businesses operated by investment groups from out of Montana.
We have a growing all-volunteer team of bloggers and contributors. We’re here because we care about our beloved Missoula area and want to showcase the best of what's here and what we love to do.
When you share our articles, you become part of a force for good in and around Missoula.
