Based on the award winning 1992 novella by Robert James Waller with score and lyrics by Jason Robert Brown of The Last Five Years and Parade, The Bridges of Madison County follows the story of Italian-American Francesca Johnson, an immigrant turned heartland housewife, whose chance meeting with Robert Kincaid, a National Geographic photographer, changes both of their lives forever.

The next four days become a whirlwind of romance which elicits questions in both lovers about the roads we travel and the bridges we dare to cross. At times heartbreaking yet inspiring, humorous, and beautiful, it asks the question…” what if?”

This musical version of the book and 1995 film is recommended for ages 13 and older.
