TNR Thursday Night HIKE Missoula – O’Brien Creek Loop
O’Brien Creek Hike Quite a change from a week ago! With the snow and cold temperatures this week we’ll do a hike in the O’Brien Creek valley. The route is a loop combining the North and South O’Brien Creek trails. We don’t usually get to hike this one because the North trail is in the Black Mountain winter elk habitat closure zone. Meet at 6:00 pm at the trailhead parking area on O’Brien Creek Road (about 3 miles up O’Brien Creek Road).
We’ll wait another week or two to see what the weather does before deciding if we are done TNR mountain biking for the year.
Our Mission:The Missoula Underground is a hyper-local blog about the best the Missoula area has to offer: food/beverages, music, events, activities, local people and business.
Hyper-local means we don’t write about anything that isn't owned or locally managed or operated in the Missoula area. No corporate chains or businesses operated by investment groups from out of Montana.
We have a growing all-volunteer team of bloggers and contributors. We’re here because we care about our beloved Missoula area and want to showcase the best of what's here and what we love to do.
When you share our articles, you become part of a force for good in and around Missoula.
