DESCRIPTION:To celebrate their golden anniversary\, the Historical Museum at Fort Missoula is launching a new exhibit “Everyday Treasures”\, showcasing over 400 of the Museum’s artifacts from its earliest years\, opening with a 50th-Year Celebration 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm Friday\, September 19\n\n\n\n\n\nIt’s not every day you turn 50!To celebrate our golden anniversary\, the Historical Museum at Fort Missoula is launching “Everyday Treasures”\, showcasing over 400 of the Museum’s artifacts from its earliest years.The exhibit opens Friday\, September 19\, and kicks off a weekend of celebration honoring the Museum’s 50-year legacy of preserving and protecting Missoula’s history. The opening event will take place from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Historical Museum at Fort Missoula—right where it all began.Attendees can expect a festive evening filled with familiar faces\, birthday cake\, party favors\, and more. The celebration continues throughout the weekend with free admission through Sunday\, September 21\, and additional treats for visitors.“Everyday Treasures” not only highlights significant artifacts from the Museum’s first decade\, but also offers a behind-the-scenes look at how the Museum preserves the personal and historical items that matter most to our community.Come celebrate 50 years of history\, community\, and storytelling at the Historical Museum at Fort Missoula.
