With Live Music from OcTUBAfest\, beer\, brats\, pretzels\, ice cream\, games for the whole family\, a stein holding competition\, and more\, Germanfest is as exciting as ever! \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nGermanfest began in 1993\, with a Pledge of Friendship signed between the two cities by their mayors at the time. Every year the Missoula community gathers at Caras Park to celebrate our sister city\, Neckargemünd\, Germany\, and the German cultural heritage.NEW THIS YEAR: Official Steinholding Competition!   \n\n\n\nWe’re excited to partner with the U.S. Steinholding Association for an official qualifying event in the Montana State Steinholding Championship\, happening during Germanfest at Caras Park on October 4! \n\n\n\nFifty competitors—men’s and women’s brackets—will test their strength for prizes and a spot in the state finals. Winners from each qualifier advance to The Great Northwest Oktoberfest in Whitefish on October 11\, where State Champions will be crowned. Since 2003\, the group has notched five straight Top 10 entries on the Billboard Top 200\, spanning the gold-certified Nothing Personal [2009]\, Dirty Work [2011]\, Future Hearts [2015]\, and Last Young Renegade [2017]. The latter attracted tastemaker acclaim from the likes of Rolling Stone\, Paste\, and more as the band canvassed the world\, headlining arenas on three continents. 2019 saw All Time Low celebrating the anniversary of Nothing Personal\, an album that’s influence remains prevalent with Rock Sound citing its impact on Fall Out Boy\, 5 Seconds of Summer\, and more.
