DESCRIPTION:The Five Valley Kennel Club brings dog lovers from all over the US and Canada to the 69th Annual Five Valley Kennel Club AKC All Breed Dog Show and Trials at the Missoula Fairgrounds 6:00 am to 6:00 pm from Thursday\, May 28 thru Sunday\, May 31\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Five Valley Kennel Club brings dog lovers from all over the US and Canada to the 69th Annual Five Valley Kennel Club Show and Trials. Over 500 dogs and their owners will get the chance to compete in a variety of dog sports at the Missoula County Fairgrounds from May 28-31.The event is great for the whole family with free admission. You can bring your own dog to Sentinel High School to participate in FastCat (100 yard dash for dogs)\, Fetch or sign up for the Play with your Dog seminar. \n\n\n\nSPECTATE AT CONFORMATION COMPETITION 5/28-5/30/26 – Glacier Ice PavilionWatch the judging of various breeds in Conformation and cheer for your favorite. \n\n\n\nWatch owner-handlers compete in a special series called the National Owner-Handled Series. These exhibitors are striving for a spot in the finals at the AKC National Championship presented by Royal Canin in Orlando in December. 4 FVKC Members qualified to attend the 2025 competition \n\n\n\nSee puppies getting started in the sport in the AKC Sanctioned 4 and under 6 Months Puppy Competition. \n\n\n\nSPECTATE AT RALLY AND OBEDIENCE TRIALS 5/28-5/30/26 – Fairground Home Arts BuildingObedience and rally trials will test dogs’ understanding of commands\, as they maneuver hurdles & retrieve articles. 1 FVKC Junior Member qualified to attend the AKC Rally National Championship in 2025 and has received another invite for 2026. \n\n\n\nPURCHASE A TICKET TO OUR FAMOUS RAFFLE 5/28-5/30/26 – Glacier Ice PavilionPurchase a ticket to our famous raffle to raise funds for our Juniors programs and local dog-related non profits. . Prizes include Made in Montana items\, dog themed baskets\, dog equipment and so much more. \n\n\n\nSPECTATE AT THE PARADE OF THERAPY DOGS 5/31/26 at 11:00 am – Fairgrounds Home Arts BuildingCelebrate the contributions of the over 65+ Therapy Dogs serving our community at the Parade of Therapy Dogs. This year we will provide special recognition for Therapy Dog teams involved in Community Crisis Response \n\n\n\nPARTICIPATE in Play with your Dog Seminar by Windriver Canine Partners on Saturday\, May 30 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Sentinel High School. \n\n\n\nPARTICIPATE with your dog in FastCat (100 yard dash for dogs) – Try a fun run for $10 cash or $11 credit card\, or Venmo offered.2 times per day: Thursday 5/28 – Sunday 5/3 at Sentinel High School.
