After writing and recording two independent EPs (Into the Sun and Mighty) on his own\, demand grew for Lord Huron to perform live. Schneider recruited friends Mark Barry (percussion)\, Miguel Briseño (bass) and Tom Renaud (guitar). Having first played music together at the tender age of 12\, the group reunited and quickly hit their stride\, transforming the project into a full-fledged live band. Lord Huron’s debut LP Lonesome Dreams was released in 2012 followed by Strange Trails in 2015. The latter featured the multi-platinum single “The Night We Met\,” which has gone on to become one of Spotify’s Top 40 most-streamed songs of all time. In 2018\, Lord Huron earned widespread critical acclaim and a Top 5 debut on the Billboard Top 200 with their third album\, Vide Noir. Lord Huron’s most recent LP Long Lost garnered praise from NPR\, Time\, Los Angeles Times\, Spin and Stereogum and sparked performances on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon\, Jimmy Kimmel Live!\, The Late Late Show with James Corden and CBS This Morning: Saturday. The band’s extensive touring includes headline shows at some of the most storied venues in the country (including the Hollywood Bowl\, Red Rocks Amphitheatre\, and the Ryman Auditorium) and festivals ranging from Coachella and Lollapalooza to Bonnaroo\, Outside Lands and more.

SUMMARY:Reverend Horton Heat with The Surfrajettes at The Wilma
DESCRIPTION:Logjam Presents welcomes Reverend Horton Heat for a live performance with The Surfrajettes at The Wilma in Downtown Missoula at 8:00 pm Saturday\, June 6\n\n\n\n\n\nLogjam Presents welcomes Reverend Horton Heat for a live performance with The Surfrajettes at The Wilma in Downtown Missoula at 8:00 pm Saturday\, June 6. \n\n\n\nTickets on sale at Logjam Presents Box Offices and online while supplies last. All tickets are general admission standing room only. All ages are welcome. \n\n\n\nTake a look at these tips to best prepare yourself for a smooth ticket buying experience. \n\n\n\nAdditional ticketing and venue information can be found here. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout Reverend Horton HeatLoaded guns\, space heaters\, and big skies. Welcome to the lethal littered landscape of Jim Heath’s imagination. True to his high evangelical calling\, Jim is a Revelator\, both revealing & reinterpreting the country-blues-rock roots of American music. He’s a time-travelling space-cowboy on a endless interstellar musical tour\, and we are all the richer & “psychobillier” for getting to tag along. \n\n\n\nSeeing REVEREND HORTON HEAT live is a transformative experience. Flames come off the guitars. Heat singes your skin. There’s nothing like the primal tribal rock & roll transfiguration of a Reverend Horton Heat show. Jim becomes a slicked-back 1950′s rock & roll shaman channeling Screamin’ Jay Hawkins through Buddy Holly\, while Jimbo incinerates the Stand-Up Bass. And then there are the “Heatettes”. Those foxy rockabilly chicks dressed in poodle-skirts and cowboy boots slamming the night away. It’s like being magically transported into a Teen Exploitation picture from the 1950′s that’s currently taking place in the future. \n\n\n\nListening to the REVEREND HORTON HEAT is tantamount to injecting pure musical nitrous into the hot-rod engine of your heart. The Reverend’s commandants are simple. \n\n\n\nROCK HARD\, DRIVE FAST\, AND LIVE TRUE. \n\n\n\nAnd no band on this\, or any other\, planet rocks harder\, drives faster\, or lives truer than the Reverend Horton Heat. These “itinerant preachers” actually practice what they preach. They live their lives by the Gospel of Rock & Roll. \n\n\n\nFrom the High-Octane Spaghetti-Western Wall of Sound in “Big Sky” — to the dark driving frenetic paranoia of “400 Bucks” – to the brain-melting Western Psychedelic Garage purity of “Psychobilly Freakout” — The Rev’s music is the perfect soundtrack to the Drive-In Movie of your life. \n\n\n\nJim Heath & Jimbo Wallace have chewed up more road than the Google Maps drivers. For twenty-five Psychobilly years\, they have blazed an indelible\, unforgettable\, and meteoric trail across the globe with their unique blend of musical virtuosity\, legendary showmanship\, and mythic imagery. \n\n\n\n“Okay it’s time for me to put this loaded gun down\, jump in my Five-Oh Ford\, and nurture my pig on the outskirts of Houston. I’ll be bringing my love whip. See y’all later.” – Carty Talkington Writer/Director \n\n\n\nRev your engines and catch the sermon on the road as it’s preached by everybody’s favorite Reverend. Don’t forget to keep an eye out for the 11th studio album from REVEREND HORTON HEAT\, boldly titled Rev\, due out January 21st. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout The SurfrajettesThe Surfrajettes are a four-piece instrumental combo from Toronto\, ON\, Canada.  Since forming in late 2015\, the band has charmed audiences with their clever mix of  psychedelic rock and reverb-drenched surf music\, sky-high beehives\, go-go boots\, and eyeliner as thick as their guitar strings.   \n\n\n\nThe band achieved viral online notoriety from their home-made performance videos and their feature by Norman’s Rare Guitars in LA. The debut 45 single “Party Line / Toxic” released late 2018 on Hi-Tide Recordings to immediate success. The band has toured extensively in its support\, including performances on The Beach Boys Cruise\, The Melissa Etheridge Cruise\, at Sea.Hear.Now\, Nashville Boogie\, Wild O Fest in Mexico City\, The Surf Guitar 101 Convention\, Tiki Oasis & Hi Tide Summer Holiday:  Asbury Park.   \n\n\n\nThey spent the rest of 2020 and most of 2021writing and recording their debut LP  “Roller Fink” from Hi-Tide Recordings / Virgin Music\, that released in 2022. Amidst  touring throughout the last few years in Canada\, the U.S.A\, and Europe\, they wrote  their highly anticipated second LP\, “Easy as Pie”\, which released in October\, 2025.   \n\n\n\nThe Surfrajettes are guitarists Shermy Freeman and Nicole Damoff\, bassist Abby Jo  Powell\, and drummer Annie Lillis. When not on tour\, the group is busy woodshedding  in their secret beach hut\, sewing new miniskirts\, debating vintage gear\, and  daydreaming about performing in a Quentin Tarantino movie.
