DESCRIPTION:Philipsburg Chamber of Commerce presents the Flint Creek Valley Days in Philipsburg\, Montana 9:00 am to 8:00 pm Friday\, July 24; 8:00 am to Midnight on Saturday\, July 25; and 9:00 am to 9:00 pm Sunday\, July 26\n\n\n\n\n\nA celebration of the mining\, timber and ranching heritage in our area\, the Flint Creek Valley Days Parade is believed to have started as a modest parade from the local sawmill to downtown Philipsburg more than 70 years ago. Today\, the event brings thousands of tourists and Granite County natives back to Philipsburg each July. The three-day event features the Flint Creek Valley Days Parade on Saturday\, July 25 at 12:00 pm Noon – but now also includes a Friday evening Kids’ Parade down Broadway at 6:00 pm\, a Philipsburg Rotary Pancake Breakfast at the local high school from 8:00 am to 10:30 am\, numerous class reunions\, softball and horseshoe tournaments\, a Kids’ Carnival at 4:00 pm at Winninghoff Park\, and a Saturday night street dance with live music by the Trent Brooks Band from 9:00 pm to Midnight\, before wrapping up with the Flint Creek Valley Days Classic Car Show from 12:00 pm Noon to 5:00 pm on Sunday.Schedule Highlights: \n\n\n\nFriday: Children’s parade in the evening starting at 6:00 pm with the theme “Movie Magic”. \n\n\n\nSaturday: The main Flint Creek Valley Days Parade begins at 12:00 pm Noon\, 2:00 pm Cornhole Tournament at Winninghoff Park\, followed by a street dance with live music from the Trent Brooks Band from 9:00 pm to Midnight.Sunday: The 30th Annual Flint Creek Valley Days Classic Car Show runs from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Broadway.For exact times\, vendor information\, or to register your vehicle for the car show ($25 entry)\, check the Philipsburg Chamber of Commerce Flint Creek Valley Days Info

Please follow the  directions / instructions below. We are located on a one lane dirt road with a maximum speed limit of 20 miles per hour. This means that the drive from the highway to the venue is 1 hour long. Please plan accordingly. Because of this\, attendees are expected to stay for the duration of the festival and there will be no re-entry. CARPOOLING IS STRONGLY ENCOURAGED \n\n\n\nAbout 5 miles south of Darby\, MT:  \n\n\n\n\nTake Rye Creek RD for 7.7 Miles (Rye Creek RD turns into FS 75)\n\n\n\n\n\nTurn Left on FS 715\n\n\n\n\n\nAfter 3.9 miles\, take the right fork in the road\n\n\n\n\n\nDrive about 10 more miles and take a right at the yellow gate\n\n\n\n\n\nThe venue will be in about 1.5 miles\n\n\n\n\nPlease drive SLOW and ONLY during gate hours. The maximum speed you should be driving on FS 715 at ANY POINT is 20 mph.
