The group was formed in 2002\, in Brooklyn\, New York\, and it is composed of James Murphy\, Nancy Whang\, Pat Mahoney\, Rayna Russom\, Tyler Pope\, Al Doyle\, Matt Thornley and Korey Richey. The band was first signed under DFA Records\, a label co-founded by Murphy. They released several singles including “Losing My Edge”\, “Give it Up” and the hit “Movement” which peaked at number 52 in the UK Charts. They released their debut self-titled album in 2005 and in the same year they released the hit single “Daft Punk Is Playing at My House” which reached number 29 on the UK Charts. The single was also nominated for a Grammy for Best Dance Recording. They have collaborated with artists such as Miike Snow and Joywave. They released two more albums\, “Sound of Silver” and “This is Happening” before taking a break as a band. In 2017 they reunited and released a new album “American Dream”\, which features synth-pop sounds blended with dance. The album was nominated for Best Alternative Music Album at the Grammy Awards and the single “Tonite” won Best Dance Recording at the same Awards. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout VictorylandVictoryland is the Brooklyn-based project of musician Julian McCamman and Dan Howard. Their label debut\, My Heart Is A Room With No Cameras In It\, released January 23\, 2026\, via Good English\, is a triumphant\, despondent\, and ultimately fun experimental pop-rock album. My Heart wrangles with heavy subject matter (love\, disconnection\, sexual frustration\, emptiness\, etc.)\, but the terminal statement of the record is about the cleansing nature of pop music. That\, if a song can force you to “bliss out” over a hook or a loop\, or even make you dance\, it can be the spoonful of sugar to swallow the hard pill with; this is what Victoryland strives to do: package the most exhausting realities of life\, love\, and the search for connection in a world starved of it\, into a fun 2-5 minutes\, and for the runtime of Victoryland’s first major statement\, you might even feel like you’re not alone.”

SUMMARY:The Two Tracks "Seasons Unknown" album release tour with Andrea Harsell Band at Monk's Bar
DESCRIPTION:JThe Two Tracks during their stop at Monk’s Bar in Downtown Missoula at 8:00 pm Thursday\, August 13\n\n\n\n\n\nDoors @ 7:00 pm \n\n\n\nGet ready to jam out and celebrate fresh tunes on The Two Tracks’ “Seasons Unknown” Album Release Tour\, with special guests\, the Andrea Harsell Band. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Two Tracks: \n\n\n\nHailing from the eastern slope of the Bighorn Mountains in Wyoming—a state with more pronghorn than people—The Two Tracks have spent the last decade developing a powerful sound rooted in “thoughtful\, literate songwriting” (Relix). \n\n\n\nLed by husband-and-wife Dave (guitar and cello) and Julie Huebner (guitar)\, the quartet is rounded out by bassist Taylor Phillips and drummer Fernando Serna\, fusing expressive storytelling\, sonorous four-part harmonies\, and a lively authenticity creating an “immeasurably rewarding experience” (American Songwriter). \n\n\n\nDave’s classical cello training couple with his love for bold bluegrass riffs and hooky rock melodies add a unique character to many of their arrangements. \n\n\n\nThe Two Tracks returned to Nashville\, TN to record their fifth studio album\, Seasons Unknown (set to release June 5\, 2026)\, once again working with their team consisting of grammy-nominated producer Will Kimbrough (Todd Snider\, Rodney Crowell)\, 5-time Grammy-winning engineer Sean Sullivan (Sturgill Simpson\, Molly Tuttle)\, and 4-time Grammy-winning mixer Trina Shoemaker (Sheryl Crow\, Tanya Tucker). \n\n\n\nThe record delivers songs that feel lived-in and unguarded\, from the road-trip ready energy of the lead single “Mexico By Friday”\, to the album’s CSNY-inspired harmony-driven title track. \n\n\n\nFrom the social-political bluegrass anthem “Building Walls”\, to a stripped down acoustic duet “My Heart is Too Easy”\, which expresses a love never reciprocated. \n\n\n\nSeasons Unknown expands on a discography that already includes four acclaimed records: The Two Tracks (2016)\, Postcard Town (2017)\, Cheers to Solitude (2020) which charted in the top 40 on Americana radio\, and It’s a Complicated Life (2023). \n\n\n\nWith a touring history that spans the U.S. and abroad—including a performance at the World Expo in Dubai—The Two Tracks have graced premier stages such as Americanafest (TN)\, Kate Wolf Music Festival (CA)\, Albino Skunk Music Festival (SC)\, and Red Ants Pants (MT)\, among many others. \n\n\n\nThey’ve shared bills with Orville Peck\, Marshall Tucker Band\, Eilen Jewell\, The Brothers Comatose\, John McEuen\, Shook Twins\, and The Black Lilies\, consistently proving that their versatile sound can mesh with many differing genres. \n\n\n\nAt the heart of The Two Tracks is a deep commitment to connection. \n\n\n\nEmanating out from their own strong friendship as a band\, they create joyful energetic performances that leave audiences with the sense of having truly shared an experience—one that resonates long after the final note. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAndrea Harsell Band: \n\n\n\nMissoula songwriter Andrea Harsell has spent more than three decades carrying her powerful\, soulful voice and lived-in songwriting to audiences across the United States and abroad. \n\n\n\nDrawing from the American roots canon of folk\, blues\, bluegrass\, and country music\, her songs are grounded\, expressive\, and deeply human. \n\n\n\nAndrea’s new band features Laurie Banks on bass\, Don Teschner on fiddle\, mandolin\, and lap steel\, and Louie Bond on lead guitar. \n\n\n\nTogether\, they deliver rich musicianship\, beautiful harmonies\, and a lively roots sound that’s ready to kick up a little stomp and holler. \n\n\n\nSee more about the Andrea Harsell Band HERE.
