SUMMARY:Montana Highline Gathering in Lolo
DESCRIPTION:Don’t miss a bird’s eye view at Lolo’s Highline Gathering 9:00 am to 1:00 pm Wednesday\, October 7 thru Sunday\, October 11\n\n\n\n\n\nIt’s time for the Seventh Annual Lolo Highline Gathering. \n\n\n\nCome wiggle amongst the treetops where the sky is big and the friends are rad! \n\n\n\nWe will have a variety of 10 lines rigged ranging from 20m-280m. \n\n\n\nWe will work on a list of the gear and lines we will have together closer to the date\, so if you’re interested in bringing a rig to add to the shenanigans\, let us know! \n\n\n\nThere’s some fun single pitch sport and trad climbing underneath the highlines on the 10 minute uphill approach to the lines. \n\n\n\nA lot of the routes are in the shade\, so bring your climbing gear for some great climbing while you’re not slacking. \n\n\n\nThe routes aren’t published on MountainProject\, so give me a shout if you want the PDF guide for the area beforehand. \n\n\n\nThe lines are only a 10 minute hike from the car\, so it’s super accessible. \n\n\n\nYou can car camp or camp up by the lines. \n\n\n\nEither way you’ll need to bring all of your own water out for the weekend\, so bring LOTS of water (there is a creek down by the parking for filtering\, bathing\, etc)! \n\n\n\nPARKING: \n\n\n\nPlease be mindful and courteous of parking\, as it’s mostly along the side of a tight Forest Service Road. \n\n\n\nCarpool where possible\, and don’t park like a jackass. \n\n\n\nDIRECTIONS: \n\n\n\nFrom Missoula head South on Hwy 93 for about 10 miles until you hit the town of Lolo. \n\n\n\nWhen you run into Hwy 12 in Lolo\, head West for 27 miles towards Lolo Hot Springs. \n\n\n\nGet to Lolo Hot Springs and drive another 0.8 miles past the springs and take your first left onto East Fork Lolo Creek Rd (road is just before big towering rock on left side of highway). \n\n\n\nThe climbers trail to get to the highlines is about 0.7 miles down East Fork Lolo Creek Rd. As you’re driving this 0.7 miles\, you’ll pass between two roadside rocks that form a gate-like feature at about mile marker 0.5-0.6. \n\n\n\nThe climbers trail to approach the highlines is another 150 yards down the road on the left from these rock gates (or 30-ish yards from the black Toyota 4Runner). \n\n\n\nFollow the trail uphill for 10 minutes skirting up and right underneath cliff bands until you find the lines!

SUMMARY:50th Anniversary Stayin' Alive Celebration with Abbie Services at Wachholz College Center
DESCRIPTION:Celebrate 50 years of Abbie Services with Dinner\, Dance and Disco at Wachholz College Center 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm Saturday\, October 10\n\n\n\n\n\nJoin Abbie Services for the Disco / Stayin’ Alive Celebration\, celebrating 50 years of Abbie Services in Flathead County. Support survivors of intimate partner violence and sexual assault by participating in dinner\, entertainment\, raffles\, a disco dance party\, and more! \n\n\n\nLiven up the party by wearing disco attire or the color gold! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbbie Services / The Abbie Shelter was born in 1976 as a volunteer-led\, 24 hour Helpline. No shelters\, no court advocates… just a handful of inspired and passionate local activists working hard to give voice and support to survivors. A national study had revealed that 25% of women were experiencing sexual violence in their lifetime. Even more disturbing\, 90% of survivors were not telling anyone about these abuses. Survivors were literally silent about this type of violence that was impacting an eighth of the American population. Grassroot\, volunteer-lead organizations like ours were popping up all over the country to try to fill the void of services for women who were trying to escape and recover from intimate partner violence. \n\n\n\nThe women who worked to start this organization – then called the Kalispell Rape Crisis Line – faced a social climate that was significantly “less hospitable” to their work than we do now as we pursue the mission of the Abbie Shelter. We feel a deep connection to the women of our past – the founding mothers\, as we call them. They were edge walkers. Brave talkers. Movers and shakers. Dreamers and doers. Determined challengers of the status quo. They succeeded. Since that beginning\, what started as our volunteer-led hotline has grown and blossomed into a leading local nonprofit organization in the Flathead.  \n\n\n\nThe Abbie Shelter opened in 1994 and is named for Abigail Frederick\, a vocal and vibrant Flathead Valley peace activist. Abbie had a strong presence among peacemakers in the valley\, and she dedicated much of her time to advocating for those who fell through the cracks of a non-peaceful system \n\n\n\nThe organization’s work of promoting nonviolence and justice in all its parts is done in honor of all the brave and creative women who refused to be silent about intimate partner violence and sexual assault\, and in honor of the strength and courage of all survivors of violence. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTICKETS HERE

After breaking through with his debut EP Quitter\, Whitcomb built a massive following through deeply personal songwriting\, gritty vocals\, and emotionally charged live performances. In just the past year\, he’s amassed hundreds of millions of streams\, landed on major Artist to Watch lists\, and headlined fast-selling tours across North America and Europe. \n\n\n\nFans can expect a powerful live show featuring standout tracks like “Quitter\,” “Medusa\,” and “Hundred Mile High\,” alongside newer material from his chart-topping debut album The Hard Way. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout Cameron WhitcombIn a world that often prizes surface-level honesty\, Cameron Whitcomb is the rare artist with the courage to uncover his most uncomfortable truths. After leaving home at age 17 and getting a job on a pipeline\, the British Columbia native discovered his passion for singing and devoted himself to making music\, soon breaking through with his 2024 debut EP Quitter—a fearlessly candid collection of country/folk songs inspired by his journey in overcoming addiction. In a testament to the pure force of his storytelling\, the 22-year-old singer/songwriter has ascended to tremendous heights in the past year alone\, including headlining multiple tours across North America and Europe\, amassing over 600 million global catalog streams\, and landing on 2025 Artist to Watch lists from Spotify and Amazon Music—all before releasing a full-length project. On his debut album The Hard Way\, Whitcomb now shares his most powerful work yet: a selection of songs that willfully stare down his demons\, instilling every moment with equal parts grit and sensitivity and explosively poetic detail. The Hard Way debuted at #1 on the Canadian Country Albums chart\, establishing Whitcomb’s position as one of the leading voices in country music today. Upon release\, the album quickly surpassed 100 million on-demand streams nationwide\, achieving Certified Gold status in Canada. \n\n\n\nMade in close collaboration with producer Jack Riley (Knox\, Grace VanderWaal)\, The Hard Way includes Whitcomb’s chart-climbing singles “Medusa” and “Quitter” (nominated for Single Of The Year at the 2025 Canadian Country Music Awards where he won Breakthrough Artist of the Year and Fan’s Choice)\, both of which continue to rack up over a million streams weekly in the U.S. and two million streams weekly across the globe. Also featuring standouts like “Hundred Mile High” (a No. 33 hit on Billboard’s Hot Rock & Alternative Songs chart)\, the 15-track album ricochets from stripped-back folk to rough-edged country to punk-leaning pop as Whitcomb offers a real-time glimpse into his inner world. While gearing up for The Hard Way’s arrival\, Whitcomb recently embarked on his I’ve Got Options Tour – a fast-selling North American headline run including a two-night stand at the historic Troubadour in Los Angeles. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nNep is a Nashville-based singer-songwriter from Texas. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout Liam St. JohnHis music blends Americana\, rock & roll\, and blues influences. St. John first gained recognition for his 2022 viral hit “Dipped in Bleach”\, an autobiographical song about his past cocaine addiction. He has since released two chart-topping albums\, stripped back (2022) and All the Bad Things (2023)\, both recorded in single takes and featuring St. John on vocals and guitar.
