DESCRIPTION:Columbia Falls Area Chamber of Commerce hosts Harvest Fest ’25 from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm Saturday\, October 18 at Canyon Elementary School\n\n\n\n\n\nJoin the Columbia Falls Area Chamber of Commerce Saturday\, October 18 for the 3rd Annual Harvest Fest in Hungry Horse at Canyon Elementary School.  Events include an official 5k\,  children’s fun run and costume parade\, dessert auction\,  pie eating contest\, kid’s crafts\, games and activities\, chili cook-off\, cornbread competition\, FREE chili lunch while supplies last\, kid’s competitions and more fall activities!  \n\n\n\n(Specific event times and details below.)  \n\n\n\nEntry  Fee: Entry to the overall event is FREE (Donation to Canyon Kids Christmas Fund recommended\, but not required)                  \n\n\n\nA portion of this year’s proceeds will be donated to our featured nonprofit\, Canyon Kids Christmas Fund.  \n\n\n\nFree Events: \n\n\n\n\nKid’s Corner: Fall themed activities put on by the Imagine If Library\n\n\n\nKids crafts and games\n\n\n\nTour of large equipment!\n\n\n\nSpooky Substances\n\n\n\nYard Games (weather dependent)\n\n\n\nChildren’s Fun Run and Costume Parade (Wear your costume\, join in on the fun run\, and then showcase your costume after!)\n\n\n\nFREE chili and cornbread lunch (until we run out) \n\n\n\nKid’s Relay Races and Competitions – NEW THIS YEAR! \n\n\n\n& plenty more fall-themed activities! \n\n\n\n\nAdditional Paid Events (but free to watch!):  \n\n\n\n\n5k Timed Race\n\n\n\nRaffle Basket Tickets\n\n\n\nDessert Auction:  Bring a dessert and/or bid on a dessert! \n\n\n\nPie Eating Contest: $5.00/entry\n\n\n\nChili Cook Off – $25/Chili: Enter your chili into the contest! Chili will be judged between 11:00 am -12:30 pm.  1st place wins $75\, 2nd place $50\, and third place $25. After the contest\, all chili is served for free to overall event attendees. Chili must be ready to serve by 11:00 am.\n\n\n\nCorn Bread Competition – $10/Cornbread: Have the best cornbread recipe? Enter the cornbread competition at Harvest Fest.  Cornbread will be judged from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm. 1st place wins $30\, 2nd place wins $20\, and 3rd place wins $10.
