The upcoming festival will take place February 13-22\, 2026. Big Sky offers an ideal setting for filmmakers to premiere new work and develop lasting relationships with fellow filmmakers and industry. The festival draws an audience of 20\,000 and film entries from every corner of the globe to a uniquely intimate mountain town setting with local Montana flavor. A hybrid festival\, audiences can enjoy the festival program live in unique exhibition spaces across downtown Missoula and in Big Sky’s virtual cinema from nearly anywhere in the world. Selected for 9 years running by MovieMaker Magazine’s 50 Festivals Worth the Entry Fee\, BSDFF is a top-100 rated festival on FilmFreeway and is an Academy Award-qualifying festival for short documentaries. \n\n\n\nThe annual 10-day event takes place each February in downtown Missoula\, Montana. \n\n\n\nThe festival hosts over 200 visiting artists\, presents an average of 150 non-fiction films\, and offers a variety of exciting events at the historic theater The Wilma and neighboring downtown Missoula venues. In addition to screenings\, the Big Sky DocShop is a five-day industry event that includes panels\, master classes\, workshops\, and the Big Sky Pitch session. All proceeds from this event benefit the GSA and its mission of providing scholarships to student-athletes. \n\n\n\nTickets are on sale now and cost $80 per person. This year\, the GSA is looking to set a new attendance record for the event with 800 guests\, so be sure to buy your tickets early. Fans can enjoy local craft beer and great food all afternoon long\, and starting at 2:45 pm\, live music will take over the ballpark.Admission to the stadium is free\, while Oktoberfest participation is $20\, which includes a commemorativePaddleHeads mug\, wristband\, three beer tokens\, and a free bag of peanuts.“I am super excited about this event because I’ve always wanted to see this in action\, and Missoula Valley Corgis has been so fun to work with\,” said PaddleHeads Promotions and Entertainment Manager Maddy Ouellette.Fans interested in entering their Corgi in the races can register for free by visiting GoPaddleHeads.com and completing the registration form before October 20. Live music\, food trucks\, face painting\, and so much more! \n\n\n\nFridays we will stay open until 7:00 pm! The mobile bar Bamboo Bar will start serving at 3:00 pm\, food trucks and live music begins at 4:30 pm! \n\n\n\nWe will be open until Oct. 30th! (Pumpkin Patch and Open Farm Tours close on Oct. 20th but the Farm Store\, Farm Yard and Fall Harvest Shop will be open until 10/30!) \n\n\n\nNo admission fee or tickets needed!For any pumpkin purchases we will accept Venmo\, cash\, debit/credit card\, check\, etc! \n\n\n\nSorry\, no dogs! \n\n\n\nWe can’t wait to see you all at the farm this fall!
