DESCRIPTION:Pinky and the Floyd celebrate the 50th anniversary of Pink Floyd’s iconic album “Wish You Were Here” with a special performance at Wachholz College Center in Kalispell at 7:30 pm Thursday\, December 18\n\n\n\n\n\nDoors @ 6:30 pm \n\n\n\nOrginally scheduled on September 25\, 2025\, this show will now take place on Thursday\, December 18\, 2025.  Due to unforeseen circumstances\, Pinky and the Floyd had to postpone the performance on September 25. Tickets with the original September 25 date on them are valid for the new show date.  Please contact the Wachholz College Center ticket office at 406.756.1400 or patronservices@fvcc.edu with questions.Pinky and the Floyd celebrate the 50th anniversary of Pink Floyd’s iconic album “Wish You Were Here” with a special performance at Wachholz College Center. \n\n\n\nThis show will hold a particularly special weight for the Bozeman-based band and their fans as they embark on their first series of performances following the recent passing of their beloved keyboardist (and founding member)\, Joe Kirchner. While his absence will be deeply felt\, the band is dedicated to honoring his memory by bringing the timeless music of Pink Floyd to the stage with the passion and artistry that Joe himself embodied. \n\n\n\n“Wish You Were Here\,” released in 1975\, holds a significant place in Pink Floyd’s history as the follow-up to their groundbreaking album\, “The Dark Side of the Moon.” More than just a successor\, “Wish You Were Here” served as a poignant tribute to the band’s founding member\, Syd Barrett\, whose struggles with mental health led to his departure. The album’s themes of absence\, alienation\, and the pressures of the music industry resonate deeply\, making this 50th-anniversary celebration a particularly meaningful moment to reflect on how these themes remain powerfully relevant in today’s world. \n\n\n\nPrepare to be transported as Pinky and the Floyd deliver “Wish You Were Here” in its full glory\, artfully blending each track with a selection of other cherished gems from the vast Pink Floyd catalog. \n\n\n\n\n\nThis show is co-presented by WCC and Montana Tune Hound.  No outside food or beverages allowed in Wachholz College Center.Recommended age limit 10+
