When Gibson Guitars moved their acoustic instrument division to Bozeman in 1980\, many new and skilled instruments makers were lured to Montana creating a remarkably high concentration of Master Luthiers within one state. Luthiers from Bozeman\, Livingston\, Belgrade\, Manhattan\, Boulder\, Missoula\, Potomac\, Alberton and Libby have all been invited to the 2026 Missoula Guitar Show to exhibit their acoustic\, electric\, steel and resonator guitars. \n\n\n\nThe Show gallery will be open at the ZACC from 12:00 pm Noon to 5:30 pm each day leading up to the Jazzoula evening performances. Cameron Decker is Diné\, an enrolled member of the Navajo Nation and a descendant of the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes\, with a background in arts education at MAM and Salish Kootenai College. Together they founded Xʷlxʷilt “Alive and Well\,” a Séliš Education organization dedicated to authentic Indigenous education experiences. \n\n\n\nThe evening includes an artist talk at 5:30 pm\, a no-host bar\, and live music by the Lo Horgan Siegel Trio.
