They have taken Missoula by storm opening for touring bands and supporting the local music scene. Two of their members are students at the U of M and have played shows on campus and supported headliner acts throughout town. \n\n\n\nSkadget is a psychedelic dive into the subconscious waters of this hallucination called life. Born in the monster mindscape of Dead Ed\, Skadget sat in a stew of bubbling muck for years\, unable to find life. But when that seed of a thought finally made contact with Dead’s friends D.L. Johnson and Carson Smith (and Juxtabunny in the psyrealms) it was jolted to life as the hydra you see before you!

DESCRIPTION:Old-time bluegrass and folk get together to make Showman and Coole performing at Missoula’s Longstaff House 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm Monday\, October 27\n\n\n\n\n\nSHOWMAN AND COOLE \n\n\n\nSUPER-DELUXE FIDDLE\, BANJO\, AND SONG\n\n\n\nThrough twenty years and a couple of thousand shows together in bands such as The Foggy Hogtown Boys and The Lonesome Ace Stringband\, John Showman and Chris Coole have developed a deep and instinctual musical bond.  Their music lurks in a truly unique space that is somewhere on the outskirts of old-time\, bluegrass\, and folk. The songs of John Hartford\, Hank Williams\, Dock Boggs\, and The Band share space with the fiddle tunes of Eck Robertson and Ed Haley. The duo’s original songs and tunes take in all these vistas and paint something both personal and timely. \n\n\n\nThey have performed across North America and Europe at festivals such as Merlefest\, Rockygrass\, Winnipeg Folk Festival\, Mariposa\, Wintergrass\, Gooikroots\, and The John Hartford Memorial Festival. Reeves is talented in numerous areas of music. He has mastered the abilities to rap\, sing\, act\, make beats\, model\, and shoot his own music videos. He is currently working on his own clothing line\, and is in the process of running his own record label. Reeves has not yet signed to any lable but is Apart of a Movement/Group called “The Alienz”\, this group is a way of life\, believing that they are “ahead of their time”. On April 20\, 2011\, he dropped his first Mixtape Ever titled\, Why Isn’t This An Album?\, this tape was the begining of the Reeves reign. This mix-tape became extremely popular in some very important circles of people and was very respected by local listeners. Reeves had thoughts of signing to Flyod Mayweather and Soulja Boy.
