Petracca\, and a dedicated crew of regular attendees\, built Emo Nite into a phenomenon. Top-tier emo artists\, old and new\, curate playlists and perform\, with guest lists boasting members of blink-182\, All Time Low\, Dashboard Confessional\, The Maine\, and Good Charlotte. Scene-friendly pop culture mavericks often participate\, like past attendees Post Malone\, Demi Lovato\, Machine Gun Kelly\, and Skrillex. \n\n\n\nIt’s all too easy to forget that before the first Emo Nite in December 2014\, “emo” was a joke. \n\n\n\nSomehow on its journey from a melodic post-hardcore subgenre\, built on earnest emotional expression\, to a mainstream moniker assigned to anything remotely angsty\, “emo” became a dirty word. Despite the positive impact ushered in by waves of bands\, from the crucial “Revolution Summer” and Sunny Day Real Estate through Taking Back Sunday and My Chemical Romance\, accepting “emo” as a dismissive designation or identity invited polite embarrassment and even scorn. \n\n\n\nBut Freed and Petracca grew up loving the music associated with emo and the people like them who similarly embraced outsider art and subculture\, regardless of changing fashions or pretentious snobbery. Petracca told The New Yorker the idea behind the first Emo Nite celebration was to center a happy\, communal experience on the music they once listened to when they were upset and alone. \n\n\n\n“I sang Dashboard Confessional at karaoke at a friend’s birthday party and thought it was super fun to go out with friends and listen to music we actually liked\,” recalls Petracca\, who met Freed when the pair worked at a creative agency together. “Every other club in LA played EDM\, Top 40\, or hip-hop. We always found ourselves pre-gaming with emo and pop-punk music before we went out.” \n\n\n\nFreed knew a bartender at the Short Stop in Echo Park and convinced him to let them throw a party on a random\, rainy Tuesday. They invited friends via Facebook; double the bar’s capacity turned up. “We decided to see how far we could take it\,” Petracca says. “‘Who would be the craziest guest?’ We invited Mark Hoppus\, and he came! He did our first one at Echoplex\, which was our third party ever.” \n\n\n\n“There’s no disconnect between the artist and fan\,” Freed points out. “I think that’s brought people closer to the music. It created a really strong sense of community\, at a time when emo wasn’t ‘cool.’” \n\n\n\nThere may be a surprise acoustic set or even a full-band performance\, but ultimately\, it’s about the experience. Emo Nite turned a party into a community\, reclaiming the spirit of how the scene began. \n\n\n\nIt’s now a recurring event thrown by dozens of friends in over 50 cities in the United States. Emo Nite runs full-day festivals and curates coveted performance spots at Coachella\, Lollapalooza\, Bonnaroo\, Firefly\, and more. Freed and Petracca launched successful clothing collaborations with brands like OBEY\, Urban Outfitters\, PLEASURES\, The Hundreds\, Rose in Good Faith\, Market\, and OWSLA. \n\n\n\n“A larger promoter told us the shelf life of a club night in Los Angeles was two years\,” Freed says\, marveling at Emo Nite’s staying power. “A hundred percent of it is the people that go to it. This music makes people feel connected. The energy of it is so special. You get a group of people together who look different\, but they have this thing in common. We started seeing friend groups form really\, really quickly. People met their significant others at these events. The community really trusts each other.” \n\n\n\n“Emo Nite LA has become an essential gathering point for fans of emo\, pop-punk\, and related styles\,” Rolling Stone noted. \n\n\n\nIn October 2021\, Emo Nite’s founders threw Emo Nite Vegas Vacation\, a three-day event headlined by Avril Lavigne and Machine Gun Kelly\, with Sleeping With Sirens\, MOD SUN\, 3OH!3\, and more. \n\n\n\n“What Emo Nite does better than any of their competitors is they make ‘emo culture’ feel both nostalgic and brand new\,” The Summer Set’s Brian Logan Dales told Forbes\, in a profile which included professions of love from members of Papa Roach\, Underoath\, and State Champs. “You can go to an Emo Nite with your best friends and sing along to old songs you grew up with\, and at the same time\, discover a brand-new artist who’s making music today because they grew up on that very same music as you. Learn more and see the full lineup here. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout Sicard HollowNashville’s psychedelic punk-grass rockers\, Sicard Hollow\, grew up sick of any existing institution telling them who and what to be. Now\, as they navigate adulthood\, they’re equally tired of the music institutions telling them what their music should sound like— so they dunked it in patchouli and a skate-and-destroy ethos that brings an enduring sound into the modern age. \n\n\n\nBefore the band met in 2018\, none of the members ever considered playing bluegrass. Matt Rennick (violin) was working on electronic music\, Will Herrin (mandolin/vocals) was playing guitar in rock bands\, and Alex King (guitar/vocals) was barely playing music at all. After a few jam sessions\, the bluegrass just kind of happened. Since adding Parrish Gabriel (bass) in the Fall of 2019\, the band has been on a journey of self discovery within the genre while challenging themselves to make it their own. \n\n\n\nWhether it was skateboarding or chasing jam bands\, singer/guitar-player Alex King always had a fierce desire to succeed on his own terms. He spent years as an artist without an art form\, searching for a home by pouring every bit of his sweat and heart into anything he was doing. “It took years for me to land on music\,” King says\, referencing “This I Know” from the album\, “but when I found that fire inside my heart\, I found my home.” \n\n\n\nIt just so happened that finding that home coincided with the shutdown of live music due \ to the pandemic that canceled the entire release tour supporting their debut studio record\,  Secret of the Breeze.’ During that time\, the band turned inward to reflect on their identity and how they could add their generation’s voice to a timeless genre of music. \n\n\n\nThe result\, with the help of producer John Mailander (Billy Strings\, Bruce Hornsby) and Recording/mixing engineer Dan Davis (Billy Strings\, Zac Brown Band\, Dierks Bentley)\, was a combination of pop-punk melodies\, psychedelic instrumental breaks\, and existential song-writing all packaged as a bluegrass quartet dressed in tattoos and tie-dyes. \n\n\n\nAfter six years of tearing up festival stages around the country like Peach Festival\, Summer Camp\, CaveFest at the Caverns\, WinterWonderGrass\, Blue Ox\, and Hillberry\, as well as gassing up sold-out crowds supporting artists like the Infamous Stringdusters\, Leftover Salmon\, Eggy\, Sam Bush\, Kitchen Dwellers\, Dogs in a Pile\, Dopapod\, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong\, and Yonder Mountain String Band\, Sicard Hollow has a full tank and a whole lot guts as they hit the road in 2025.

An accomplished touring and studio drummer with a resume that includes playing with such artists as Danzig\, Jerry Cantrell (of Alice in Chains)\, and Static X and many more. Davies brings an unmistakable power and precision to Zoso’s live shows\, helping the band recreate Bonham’s legendary drum sound. His performance of Bonham’s legendary Moby Dick is something to behold. \n\n\n\nIn 2025\, at the age of 24\, Holston Rainero joined the band\, taking on the monumental guitar role of Jimmy Page. A fan of Zoso\, Rainero didn’t let an opportunity slip away when he learned of an opening in the band’s lineup. His story read like something straight out of a movie script; Rainero reached out directly to the band through social media to request an audition. While dozens of musicians had already contacted the band with no success\, Rainero’s determination set him apart. \n\n\n\nRefusing to take no for an answer\, he began uploading videos of himself playing classic songs from the band in his bedroom. It didn’t take long for the band to recognize his extraordinary talent. His playing was not just skilled\, it was a truly inspired performance\, with the technical mastery and soul that made it clear he was something special. \n\n\n\nThe band immediately got him to Atlanta for an in-person audition. Rainero\, ever ready\, arrived with his bags packed\, knowing he was prepared to seize the moment. His live audition exceeded all expectations\, and within days\, he was on tour with the band\, stepping into one of rock history’s most iconic roles. \n\n\n\nAfter starting out 2025 touring with Zakk Wylde on the Zakk Sabbath tour. The band has now embarked on its 30th anniversary headlining tour. New dates for the tour are being added every week with the hopes of reaching 150 shows this year.

And if you align yourself with creation\, you have automatically taken a side against destruction. You’re on the side of creation. And that does a lot to quell the impulse to destroy. \n\n\n\nIs the world getting darker? Sure feels like it. What is it? Is it the pervasive nagging toothache of dread that comes with witnessing the disintegration of a country that you thought you knew and understood? A home you still love with a love that could never be taken away\, regardless of how painful that love has become. That sense of decline is hard to ignore\, and it must at least be a part of the shroud  I’m trying to uncover. The twilight of an empire seems like a good enough jumping-off point when one is jumping into the abyss. \n\n\n\nTwilight sure is a pretty word\, though. And the world is filled with former empires\, so maybe that’s not where this dissonance is coming from entirely. Could be how old I’ve managed to become without warning. My own personal Twilight. What ever it is out there (or in there) squeezing this ennui into my day\, it’s fucking overwhelming. It’s difficult to just ignore. Twilight Override is my effort to overwhelm it right back. Here are the songs and sounds and voices and guitars and words that are an effort to let go of some of the heaviness and up the wattage on my own light. My effort to engulf this encroaching nighttime (nightmare) of the soul. \n\n\n\nWhat I really want to do is grow my heart big enough to love everyone. And if I want a heart to grow big enough to meet this moment\, it requires something expansive. “Like a TRIPLE record!?”\, you ask? Yes! Like a goddamn triple record! I mean…What else do I have but my songs and my family and my friends? What else do any of us have to keep the lights on? How else can I generate my own light? To me any song\, no matter what the subject matter\, can be a point of light and that’s one of the reasons I try and make so many of them. They all have the potential\, even the heaviest music on the Earth has the potential\, to lift someone up. This sounds like a Hallmark card\, but it rocks harder than a Hallmark card. \n\n\n\nI’m aware the day ends and the sun sets no matter how hard we wish for it to lift itself back out of the ocean. So I guess what we’re really talking about is time. In a way these three records represent the past\, present and future. The darkness comes and goes. But the clock keeps plowing ahead. We all want more. But not more of this particular shitty time. It feels like the clock is camped out at the worst part of the day. Everyone stuck saying goodbye to the future they woke up to. Waiting for it to get dark enough to dream up a new day. \n\n\n\nTruthfully\, I’ve been doing this for a long time. And I’m not going anywhere. This is the stuff that works for me. I can’t sing and be afraid at the same time. And dreaming at twilight isn’t forbidden. Not quite a daydream and nowhere near a nightmare. Twilight dreaming is a lovely workaround. Killing time with key changes and harmonies. Feel free to join us all here. Not singing into the void or at the void. Just singing. Feeling good. Together. It will do you no harm. Sharing this music with the world is the best I can do. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout Macie StewartMacie Stewart is a musician and multi-disciplinary artist based in Chicago\, IL. Heralded for their versatility\, Stewart works with piano\, violin\, guitar\, voice\, and synthesizers\, effortlessly traversing styles and scenes. Stewart is a distinguished\, go-to collaborator who Pitchfork credits with “making some of the best tracks of the past five years transcendent.” \n\n\n\nAs a composer\, Stewart’s work continues to dissolve the boundaries between disciplines. Aside from her debut record\, “Mouth Full of Glass” released in 2021 on Orindal Records and rereleased in 2022 on Full Time Hobby Records- Macie also composed a piece for Hubbard Street Dance’s film\, “Half of Us\,” alongside Sima Cunningham in 2021. That same year\, they worked with Sima Cunningham and Alex Grelle to produce a performance piece paying homage to Kate Bush. In 2022\, Stewart/Cunningham composed the score for a 50-piece orchestra premiering the Pacific Northwest Ballet’s “Before I Was.” And in 2023\, choreographer Robyn Mineko Williams enlisted Stewart to create a sound installation for her dreamlike performance piece\, Hisako House. Most recently\, Stewart was invited to compose a site-specific piece for the ESS Florisonic Installation at Lincoln Park Conservatory. As part of the longest running sound installation in North America\, their twenty-minute composition titled “The World Doubles in Size” played in the conservatory’s fern room from September through November of 2024.

Professional dancers have been paired with Missoula’s favorite local stars for nine weeks of training—all leading up to one unforgettable night of performances\, backed with rock music from two 80’s legends! \n\n\n\nBut it’s more than a dance competition—it’s a benefit for ARTS Missoula\, Missoula’s local arts agency! Teams will dance it out on the stage\, but the most successful fundraising team will take home the coveted Mirror Ball Trophy! Attendees can donate to their favorite team before or at the event as they race to the top of the leaderboard! \n\n\n\nJoin us for a night of epic rock ‘n’ roll fun and see some familiar faces on The Wilma stage! \n\n\n\nTickets on sale at Logjam Presents Box Offices and online while supplies last.  This is a fully-seated event with reserved tables and tiered general admission seating available. Pricing varies based on location.
