His songs are direct\, honest and rooted in stories of life\, family\, heartbreak and the road. \n\n\n\nEmerson is touring in support of his latest album\, Blue Stars\, released in 2026. The album continues his tradition of deeply personal songwriting while drawing from the country\, folk and western sounds that have shaped his career. His newest and fourth full-length album\, Blue Stars\, with longtime label La Honda Records\, visits all of the influences and moods of his previous releases. \n\n\n\nAfter his first album\, Fried Chicken & Evil Women\, Emerson built a reputation for live music\, finding his grass roots audience night after night. The loyalty among his audience can be attributed to his songwriting\, and the innate gift of experienced lyrics. His self-titled 2021 release\, as well as The Golden Crystal Kingdom in 2023\, further cemented that foundation\, drawing praise from the producers he worked with on each of those records\, Rodney Crowell\, and Shooter Jennings\, respectively. \n\n\n\nWith his fourth album\, Blue Stars\, Vincent brings together the distinct sound from all three of his previous releases. Produced by Patrick Lyons and recorded at Gnome Studios in Nashville\, TN\, the record benefits from Lyons’ deeply intuitive approach\, having been close friends with Vincent for many years. For Emerson\, it was important to capture the sound from the road as closely as possible\, enlisting his touring Red Horse Band to play on the album. \n\n\n\n“I’ve known Patrick for years and going into the studio with him felt like a big family kind of thing with my band.” \n\n\n\nBlue Stars features 13 original songs and is a testament to his songwriting prowess. Having dabbled across country\, folk\, and Americana music with his first three records\, Emerson brings all three of those genres together with his latest release. Raised by his grandparents after the death of his mother at age three\, he took on the form of an “Old Soul.” This is evident in his musical heroes\, which include Elvis Presley\, Roger Miller\, Hank Williams\, Bob Dylan\, and many more. After attending South Dakota State University\, where he played football\, he decided his true passion was writing and singing. A true-to-life cowpoke with real-life experiences in the western world has provided him with plenty of material to write. If you’re new to his music\, check out standout tracks like “Take Me As I Come\,” “Place I Hate\,” and “Foolin’ Ourselves.” \n\n\n\nHis most recent album\, Everything I Wanted\, recorded in his Nashville garage studio\, reflects a more eclectic and electrifying sound\, pushing his artistry beyond traditional acoustic Americana. Now in his thirties\, Burchfield raises a small family in the North Georgia mountains and continues to find inspiration in the rivers and ridges of Southern Appalachia. \n\n\n\nHis latest album ‘Me & My Religion’ was produced with his touring band\, The Scoundrels. It is the first collaboration for the group after years of paying dues to the highway. Colin Agnew (drums)\, Trygve Myers (bass)\, and Ryan Plumley (guitar) accompanied Burchfield to Muscle Shoals\, Alabama along with Nashville producer\, Rachael Moore\, to record the album of 7 days. \n\n\n\nThis 10 track album is almost equal parts Americana\, psychedelia\, indie folk\, and Southern rock. All these flavors combine to support the album’s main theme. As seasoned listeners will expect\, Burchfield’s lyrics are far from on the nose\, as the declarative title would suggest. ‘Me & My Religion’ is an exploration of mankind’s toil for meaning in a world of vapid consumerism and commercialism – one in which we have become deaf to our own harmony with nature. Despite the weight of these ideas\, the album feels like a lighthearted sojourn through the backwoods of our imagination.

DESCRIPTION:Get into the Christmas spirit in Downtown Polson with the Polson Parade of Lights from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Friday\, December 4\n\n\n\n\n\nMark your calendar for Polson’s beloved Parade of Lights on Friday\, December 4\, at 6:00 pm! Fill the streets of downtown Polson to watch the festive floats from local businesses\, community groups\, and individuals\, each creatively decorated for the season. This joyful evening will also feature select food vendors\, late-night shopping\, and a special appearance by Santa himself! It’s the perfect way to kick off the holiday season with family and friends.  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTo participate in the parade\, sign up online (or visit the Polson Chamber of Commerce office) and pay the $25 entry fee – join us in making this year’s event one to remember!The parade lineup begins at 5:00 p.m.\, with the Polson Parade of Lights starting promptly at 6:00 pm. \n\n\n\nThe meeting location for the parade lineup will be on 9th Avenue West\, behind Cherry Valley Elementary and we ask that you enter from 2nd Street West. We do REQUIRE that you have wheel walkers at each front wheel for safety’s sake. Wheel walkers are responsible for making sure that there is nothing in the way of the path of the vehicles’ wheels and encouraging people of all ages to STAY BACK. Please dress appropriately for the evening – proper foot gear\, proper weather protection.
