Countless miners and their family members are injured\, and 21 are killed – 11 of them children. \n\n\n\nIn the aftermath of this massacre\, the prominent union rights activist Mother Jones\, summons 500\,000 UMW members\, imploring them to pick up arms and fight. What follows is The Colorado Coalfield Wars… the bloodiest labor dispute in US history. \n\n\n\nInspired by true events\, The Trial Of Mother Jones is a historical supposition. While covering so many styles they manage to create a cohesive sound that is uniquely their own. Their live shows are an immersive trip through detailed soundscapes\, danceable grooves\, and the lyrics of songwriter and guitarist Symon Palmer. \n\n\n\nSTiLGONE established themselves playing frequent shows at the Zebra Cocktail Lounge\, touring nearby towns and local festivals\, and supporting major touring acts such as Deltron 3030\, and Nappy Roots. In 2021\, after a multiple year hiatus\, the band reformed with newfound drive\, playing their own shows across Montana as well as supporting long time collaborators Desperate Electric\, jam giants EGGY\, north west funk masters Polyrhythmics and more. \n\n\n\nThe band is now set to release their second full length studio album in February of 2026\, which currently has three released singles: “Day by Day”\, “Go Girl” and “Rundown”. The album was self produced in Butte\, Montana with the help of long time collaborator Ben Morris in his home studio dubbed “the Dojo”. Ben’s work has led to an even more hi-fi and meticulously detailed listening experience than they have achieved in the past. This follows their debut 2023 album “B.O.L.O.” which featured popular tracks “Doo Wop”\, and “Paridose”. With loads of unreleased songs and fun covers in the live repertoire the band is constantly changing up the setlist and adding new fun variations to the live experience\, that keep long-time fans coming back for more.

The festival returns in 2026 for its 49th year in Missoula\, Montana.The mission of the International Wildlife Film Festival is to promote awareness\, knowledge\, and understanding of wildlife\, habitat\, people\, and nature through excellence in film. Filmmakers can expect lively Q&As\, engaging panel discussions\, and a casual\, jovial atmosphere. Guests range from top-notch filmmakers and producers\, cutting-edge conservationists or biologists\, to the Roxy Theater audience members that sometimes see every IWFF selection.
