SUMMARY:Uncle Lucius 20th Anniversary Tour with Keyland at The Wilma
DESCRIPTION:Logjam Presents welcomes Uncle Lucius for their 20th Anniversary Tour with Keyland opening for a live performance at The Wilma in Downtown Missoula at 8:00 pm Thursday\, August 6\n\n\n\n\n\nDoors @ 7:00 pm \n\n\n\nLogjam Presents welcomes Uncle Lucius for a live in concert performance at The Wilma on Thursday\, August 6. \n\n\n\nTickets on sale at Logjam Presents Box Offices and online while supplies last. All tickets are general admission standing room only. All ages are welcome. \n\n\n\nTake a look at these tips to best prepare yourself for a smooth ticket buying experience. \n\n\n\nAdditional ticketing and venue information can be found here. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout Uncle Lucius \n\n\n\nLast month Uncle Lucius released Live from Ear Studio. Recorded live to tape at Ear Studio in Austin\, TX the record features select singles from their latest LP Like It’s The Last One Left plus three covers: “Bertha” by the Grateful Dead; “Shadow People\,” a Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers staple and “Just To Satisfy You” made popular by Waylon Jennings & Willie Nelson. \n\n\n\nUncle Lucius has long been known for their unique blend of roots rock & roll and country soul. Since adding heavyweights Doug Strahan (guitar) and Drew Scherger (bass) to the fold\, the band has expanded its palette\, exploring new musical landscapes and reveling in the power that comes from following sonic avenues\, without prejudice\, wherever they lead. The results onstage speak for themselves. \n\n\n\nDuring the years following the band’s farewell tour in 2018\, their audience continued to organically grow\, highlighted by the placement of their song “Keep the Wolves Away” in an episode of Yellowstone and its subsequent RIAA gold and platinum certifications. After a few years on hiatus — with a fresh outlook and a deep well of new ideas — the band members began to shake off their collective rust and blueprint songs that mirrored their career and current status\, hitting on themes of resolve and resilience. The band released their first album in 8 years Like It’s The Last One Left last December via Thirty Tigers / Boo Clap Records. Since their comeback the band has toured consistently around the world and recently the 2nd single from Like It’s The Last One Left\, “All The Angelenos\,” hit #5 on the Texas Radio Charts. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout Keyland \n\n\n\nOn Knuckle Sandwich\, recorded at the remote\, analog-leaning Sonic Ranch near the Texas–Mexico border\, Tulsa-based songwriter Keyland delivers his sharpest and most fully realized work to date. The album captures the messy\, contradictory nature of love with equal parts humor and hard truth. Rooted in the storytelling tradition of Oklahoma and the broader Americana lineage it feeds\, the record moves between swagger and self-awareness\, landing somewhere between a smirk and a gut punch. \n\n\n\nAs Keyland (born Kyle Ross) puts it\, “Oftentimes\, love looks more like a punch to the face than a kiss on the cheek.” \n\n\n\nThat philosophy runs through the core of the album. Across Knuckle Sandwich\, Ross’s music centers around fictional characters who feel heightened but deeply familiar: the restless chaos of “Pinball Machine Rodeo Queen\,” the slow-burn push-and-pull of toxic attachment on “Stick\,” and the guarded emotional distance of “Hundred Feet Away.” Even the album’s most playful moments\, like the offbeat\, color-drenched “Crayon\,” carry an undercurrent of something more reflective\, using humor as a way to process disconnection and dullness. By contrast\, songs like “Cannonball” and “Foolish Thing To Do” cut straight to the heart of commitment\, capturing the moment where love demands either action or surrender. \n\n\n\nRoss’s writing sits comfortably within the Americana genre while bending its edges. His songs are often tongue-in-cheek\, simple but not simplistic\, sketching vivid\, sometimes surreal scenes before landing an emotional gut punch. There’s an everyman quality to his voice and perspective\, grounded in lived experience and sharp observation\, where humor and heartbreak rarely exist separately. He’s never more serious than when he’s joking\, a balance that gives Knuckle Sandwich its distinct voice. \n\n\n\nThat perspective is inseparable from Tulsa\, a city with a quietly influential songwriting lineage. Ross has spent the past several years embedded in that community\, working as a public school teacher while also coaching football at powerhouse Bixby High School\, a program that has built one of the most dominant runs in the state. Much of his catalog has been written in focused bursts during school breaks and off-seasons\, a rhythm that keeps his songwriting closely tied to everyday life and the people who populate it. \n\n\n\nThat grounded approach extends to how the music gets made. After independently releasing two full-length albums in 2023\, Ross recorded a third project in 2024 before partnering with boutique label One Riot\, who introduced the material through the 2025 EPs Too Tuff and Stand Up To You. In 2025\, he returned to Sonic Ranch to record Knuckle Sandwich\, while also hitting the road for a run of milestone shows alongside Sierra Ferrell\, The Josh Abbott Band\, Chris Knight\, Wilderado\, American Aquarium\, Paul Cauthen\, Tyler Halverson\, The Droptines\, and others—artists who\, like Ross\, occupy the space between country\, rock\, and Americana without fully settling into any one lane. \n\n\n\nA defining thread across Keyland’s catalog is his repeated return to Sonic Ranch\, a creative outpost that complements\, rather than replaces\, his Oklahoma roots. There\, Ross and his collaborators track live\, lean into analog textures\, and prioritize feel over polish\, echoing an older tradition of American recording that values performance over perfection. \n\n\n\nProduced and mixed by Sam Westhoff\, Knuckle Sandwich features a close-knit group of Tulsa musicians\, including Ramsey Thornton\, Sam Bowling\, Cash Jackson\, Isaac Stalling\, and Jacob Hunter\, with mastering by Joe Causey at Voyager Mastering. \n\n\n\nWith Knuckle Sandwich\, Keyland delivers an album that feels both rooted and restless\, steeped in Americana tradition but unafraid to undercut it with humor\, looseness\, and unpredictability. It’s a record that doesn’t try to resolve the contradictions of love\, but instead leans into them fully\, finding something honest in the tension.

In the event of cancellation due to extreme weather\, tickets will not be refunded. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout Jesse WellesJesse Welles unassumingly upholds and continues the tradition of traveling troubadours\, relaying the news\, putting pain into words\, and healing with a little humor. Fearless\, he reports from the frontlines of a divided country on the brink\, addressing inequalities and injustices\, cutting through all bullshit and driving directly to the source of the matter. His songs leave the same mark in front of a sold-out club as they do under the unbiased eye of a smartphone camera as he strums his guitar alone in the wilderness of Arkansas. Following tens of millions of streams and a groundswell of acclaim from Rolling Stone\, the New York Times\, and more\, the singer\, songwriter\, and guitar player cuts deep on his 2025 full-length album Middle. “Breathe to write\, write to breathe\,” he says. “Humans are meant to create\, so I’m gonna create music and keep releasing it constantly.” \n\n\n\nJesse calls Ozark\, AR home. Growing up\, his father worked as a mechanic\, and his mom a school teacher. Early on\, his grandpa copied The Beatles’ White Album and Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band for Jesse. At 12-years-old\, he finally scrounged up enough to dough for a “$56 first act guitar from Walmart.” It became like another limb. He fed his obsession by checking CDs out of the public library and ripping them to the family computer\, embracing classics from Bob Dylan\, Joni Mitchell\, Joan Baez\, and Woody Guthrie. \n\n\n\nRelocating to Nashville\, he launched his eponymous band Welles\, releasing music and touring incessantly. He logged 280 shows in a year\, canvassing North America and Europe alongside the likes of Royal Blood\, Highly Suspect\, Greta Van Fleet\, and Dead Sara. Dropped from his old label (mid-Pandemic)\, he quit a job at a vegan meat manufacturer and returned to Arkansas. In February 2024\, life changed again when dad suffered a heart attack. Sitting in his father’s hospital room with a Woody Guthrie biography on his lap\, Jesse realized what he needed to do. \n\n\n\nHe walked into the Ozarks\, placed his phone on a tripod\, sang right to it\, and posted the performance. The ensuing series of videos made a seismic impact online. He impressively attracted over 1 million followers on Instagram by performing tunes like “Cancer\,” “Fentanyl\,” and “War Isn’t Murder” out in the cold. On a creative tear\, he served up two full-length albums\, Hells Welles and Patchwork\, and sold out successive headline tours. Capping off 2024\, he railed against the corruption of the healthcare system in the powerful polemic “United Health\,” which Rolling Stone hailed as “a John Prine-like ballad.” \n\n\n\nNow\, Jesse turns the page on another chapter with his new album Middle and its first single “Horses.”“It’s a pro-love song\,” he notes. “Fear leads to hate. Hate leads to all kinds of atrocities. You build up walls. If you love everyone\, it’s a lot easier on you—and everybody else too. Hate is a whip for the mule. Nobody gets nutrition from it.” \n\n\n\n“If my music helps you believe you can make art and tell the world how you feel\, there would be nothing better\,” he leaves off. “I hope you get those paints out of the garage or fill up your journal. Turn on your phone and say what you gotta to say. There’s so much wild stuff in my head. I want to see where it can go.” \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout RatboysDespite its title\, Ratboys’ Singin’ to an Empty Chair is not defined by what’s missing. Rather\, it’s the beginning of an important dialogue with a close loved one\, vocalist/lyricist Julia Steiner finds herself estranged from. The band’s sixth studio album – its first for New West Records – fills the space that person left behind\, showcasing Ratboys at the peak of their powers — twangy\, effervescent\, as confident as they’ve ever been\, and more emotionally interrogative than ever before. The four-piece Chicago band followed up 2023’s highly acclaimed The Window by reconvening with co-producer Chris Walla\, tracking at a rural WI cabin before taking the songs to Steve Albini’s famed Electrical Audio studios in Chicago and Rosebud Studio in Evanston\, IL. The results veer from bubbly power-pop to irresistible post-country\, along with heart-piercing ballads like “Just Want You to Know the Truth” and a detour into the extraterrestrial on “Light Night Mountains All That.” Singin’ to an Empty Chair also marks the first Ratboys album written since Steiner began therapy\, which she credits for the clarity found across the album’s unflinching examinations of relationship and self. As the album begins by extending a hand into the void\, it concludes with a scene of serenity – all while weaving candid honesty\, humor\, chaos\, and whimsy along the way. “It’s not all doom and gloom\,” Steiner says. “The experience of making this record definitely gives me hope for whatever happens next.”

SUMMARY:Dirty Heads with Rome at KettleHouse Amphitheater
DESCRIPTION:Logjam Presents welcomes Dirty Heads with Rome for a live concert performance at the KettleHouse Amphitheater in Bonner at 8:00 pm Monday\, August 10\n\n\n\n\n\nDoors @ 6:30 pm \n\n\n\nLogjam Presents welcomes Dirty Heads with Rome for a live concert performance at the KettleHouse Amphitheater in Bonner at 8:00 pm Monday\, August 10. \n\n\n\nTickets are on sale at Logjam Presents Box Offices and online while supplies last.  General admission lawn\, reserved stadium seating\, reserved premium stadium seating\, general admission standing pit and premium box seating tickets are available. In the event of cancellation due to extreme weather\, tickets will not be refunded. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout Dirty Heads \n\n\n\nSince 2001\, Dirty Heads have mixed hip-hop\, reggae\, and rock to create a unique sound that both fully embodies their Southern California roots and resonates with audiences around the globe. \n\n\n\nDirty Heads are currently out-streaming some of the biggest alternative acts in the U.S.\, with over 1.34 MILLION digital track sales and over 3.2 BILLION global streams. Dirty Heads also have over 2.4 million unique monthly listeners on Spotify. \n\n\n\nThe band’s global appeal reached new heights in 2021\, when their hit “Vacation” (originally released in 2017) garnered over 6 billion views and streams across social media via the ubiquitous #VacationTransition challenge that originated organically with users on TikTok. \n\n\n\nThe group formed when punk rocker Dustin Bushnell (aka Duddy B) asked his friend\, rapper Jared Watson (aka Dirty J)\, to collaborate on a project that would focus on positive vibes and infectious grooves. Watson added singing to his vocal skills\, and later with percussionist Jon Olazabal\, drummer Matt Ochoa\, and bassist Dave Foral\, Dirty Heads began building an immense audience. \n\n\n\nIn 2008\, Dirty Heads released their acclaimed album Any Port in a Storm\, with a deluxe edition following in 2010. The deluxe version featured the track “Lay Me Down” with special guest Rome Ramirez of Sublime with Rome. The song reached number one on Billboard‘s Alternative Songs in May 2010\, and nine weeks later it established a record as the song with the longest stint atop the chart for an independently released title. \n\n\n\nThey followed up two years later with Cabin by the Sea and later recorded an acoustic version of the title track. This\, in turn\, led to an entire acoustic album in 2013 called Home: Phantoms of Summer. Dirty Heads’ next album\, Sound of Change\, proved to be a breakthrough for the now-veteran band\, debuting at number eight on the Billboard Top 200 while topping the Independent and Alternative Albums charts upon its May 2014 release. \n\n\n\nBuilding on their renewed success\, Dirty Heads enlisted a bevy of industry hitmakers to work on their self-titled 2016 follow-up\, which — thanks to its mainstream appeal — again charted high on the Billboard Top 200. The following year saw the band drop its sixth studio album\, Swim Team\, featuring the singles “Vacation” and “Staloney.” \n\n\n\nInspired by current events and the fan interpretations of their music in the #VacationTransition challenge\, the band went into the studio to work on new music. In 2021\, Dirty Heads released The Best Of Dirty Heads compilation\, which included a new collaboration\, single “Rage\,” with Travis Barker and Aimee Interrupter of The Interrupters. The band also released their highly anticipated 8th studio album\, Midnight Control\, in August 2022\, which featured 10 all-new songs\, including their take on Joe Walsh’s 1978 hit “Life’s Been Good.” \n\n\n\nIn 2023\, Dirty Heads released the digital deluxe version of their album Midnight Control\, featuring 23 tracks\, including acoustic versions of hit songs “Rescue Me\,” “Life’s Been Good\,” and “Island Glow\,” lo-fi versions of 3 album tracks\, 3 unreleased songs\, and more in addition to all 10 tracks from the original album. \n\n\n\nBefore performing their Top 5 hits “Life’s Been Good” and “Rescue Me” on The Today Show in 2023\, hosts Hoda & Jenna presented the band with a RIAA platinum plaque for their hit “Vacation\,” acknowledging sales of more than 1 million digital downloads since its release by Better Noise Music. The band’s take on “Life’s Been Good” has been streamed over 34 million times since its release and climbed to the Top 5 on the Mediabase Alternative chart. Dirty Heads also completed 29 dates on their Slightly Dirty Summer Tour across the U.S. with co-headliners Slightly Stoopid. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout Rome \n\n\n\nFor more than a decade\, Rome Ramirez has been the voice behind a sound that shaped summers and soundtracked road trips. As the frontman of Sublime with Rome\, he’s played to packed crowds around the world and helped carry the torch for a band that defined a generation. But now\, for the first time\, he’s stepping out entirely on his own. \n\n\n\nBorn in the Bay Area to first generation Mexican-American parents\, Rome grew up surrounded by love\, hustle\, and music. Bob Marley played in the background. So did his mom’s classic soul and his dad’s rock records. He got his first guitar at 11 and started writing songs the way most kids played video games: all day\, every day. \n\n\n\nAt 20\, he landed the gig of a lifetime\, stepping into Sublime’s legacy and helping shape its nextera. With four albums\, multiple gold and platinum records\, and collaborations with artists from Dirty Heads to Enrique Iglesias to Blues Traveler\, Rome built a career on versatility and straight-up talent. But somewhere in the middle of everyone else’s projects\, he lost track of what his music sounded like. \n\n\n\nHis solo work is a return to roots not just sonically\, but spiritually. It’s honest\, melodic\, and genre-fluid: a mix of reggae\, soul\, and rock that feels like if Bob Marley\, Leon Bridges\, and Tom Petty cut a record in Nashville. There are live instruments. There are lyrics that say something. And there’s no pretending. \n\n\n\nThe debut solo album\, set for 2025\, is full of the kind of songs that make you want to roll the windows down. “Why Me?” is a laid-back\, grateful reflection on the weird road Rome’s been on. “Back to the Start” is a love letter to long-haul relationships. And “Knew Me” is a wink at everyone who thinks they’ve got him figured out. He collaborated with various friends across the project\, including powerhouse producer Dann Huff (Taylor Swift\, Keith Urban\, Josh Groban\, Carrie Underwood)\, whose touch brought new depth to tracks like “Back to the Start” and “Why Me?” \n\n\n\nAfter years of writing for others\, he’s writing for himself again – in between raising kids\, playing backyard shows\, and chasing the magic that got him into music in the first place. This is Rome\, without the filter. And he’s just getting started.

My Heart wrangles with heavy subject matter (love\, disconnection\, sexual frustration\, emptiness\, etc.)\, but the terminal statement of the record is about the cleansing nature of pop music. That\, if a song can force you to “bliss out” over a hook or a loop\, or even make you dance\, it can be the spoonful of sugar to swallow the hard pill with; this is what Victoryland strives to do: package the most exhausting realities of life\, love\, and the search for connection in a world starved of it\, into a fun 2-5 minutes\, and for the runtime of Victoryland’s first major statement\, you might even feel like you’re not alone.”

Using electronic and acoustic means\, the instrumental five-piece—comprised of Hunter Brown (guitar/programming)\, Jeffree Lerner (percussion)\, David Phipps (keyboards)\, Zach Velmer (drums)\, and \n\n\n\nAlana Rocklin (bass)—channels the primordial and celestial\, producing a cutting-edge sound that has forged a path for multiple generations of electronic dance music. \n\n\n\nSTS9’s innate sense of innovation is grounded by the group’s desire to forge universal connections. Seamlessly integrating their exploratory and improvisation-based music with a fully immersive light show\, each performance is a transcendent celebration of humanity. With the help of the group’s dedicated fanbase\, STS9 has performed countless shows nationwide and consistently sells out venues like the legendary Red Rocks Amphitheater\, where they have played over 30 times. The group has been honored with induction into the Colorado Music Hall of Fame and earns headlining slots at countless music festivals across the country. The group continues to find ways to build community\, consistently spearheading charitable efforts with their own Just Thanks Foundation and founding its own independent record label\, 1320 Records. \n\n\n\nHaving released twelve albums over the last 28 years\, STS9’s legacy unfolds into the future with their newest 2025 studio release\, Human Dream. These 19 tracks clearly represent the band’s current sound\, delving deep into the many facets of music the group is known for. From huge festival bangers\, to funk and jazz explorations\, intricate drum n bass\, and beautiful instrumentals\, Human Dream symbolizes the start of sharing music from STS9’s most prolific recording era to date. With more new releases on the horizon\, major festival appearances\, and a full US tour\, STS9 is poised to keep spreading their music and message in 2026 and beyond. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout Dirtwire \n\n\n\nDirtwire stands poised between ancient Mother Earth and modern technology\, a blend of ethnomusicology and the psychedelic trance state\, gut-bucket delta blues and what the band variously dubs “back-porch space cowboy blues\, swamptronica\, and electro-twang.” It’s a sound informed by Dirtwire’s travels and performances around the globe\, where East meets West and North joins South. From the favelas in Brazil\, Femi Kuti’s Shrine in Lagos\, Tokyo’s bluegrass clubs\, Ayahuasca ceremonies in Central America\, Gamelan performances in Bali\, desert festivals in the Australian Outback\, and the 20th anniversary of Kazakhstan’s modernized new capital Astana\, the band spreads its message by building bridges across musical cultures in their own unique way.Dirtwire plays an array of instruments both ancient and modern\, including West African kamale ngonis\, jaw harps\, space fiddles\, whamola basses\, Rickenbacher electric 12 string guitars\, bowed Banjos and mouth harps from around the globe\, all interwoven into modern laptop beat creation. Hailing from the underground west coast electronic bass music scene Dirtwire finds itself at the forefront of experimental electronic music production mixing in their wide array of world instruments with sampled beats and 808’s. Dirtwire’s live shows are a communal psychedelic journey\, ranging from down home boot stomping get downs\, to bass and blues electronic mashups\, to ethereal cinematic beat driven soundscapes. Woven into each is the exploration of where live instruments meet computer production\, and where tradition meets experimentation.

No Portion of the ticket purchase is tax deductible. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout Caamp \n\n\n\n“Nothing stays the same forever\,” says Caamp’s Taylor Meier\, “and there’s something beautiful about that. Time passes\, seasons turn\, people grow. Change is what makes life special.” \n\n\n\nCopper Changes Color\, Caamp’s fifth and most adventurous album to date\, is indeed a reflection on growth and evolution\, but it’s also a celebration of the dreams and bonds that endure. Recorded in Texas\, Oregon\, and New York with co-production from Beatriz Artola (Fleet Foxes\, Sharon Van Etten) and Tucker Martine (My Morning Jacket\, R.E.M.)\, the collection finds the breakout Midwestern band pushing their sound to new heights\, infusing their infectious brand of modern folk music with an electrifying dose of indie rock energy. The songs are raw and vulnerable\, alternating between buoyant\, breezy anthems and dreamy\, pensive meditations\, and the performances are honest and intuitive to match\, fueled by the undeniable chemistry between Meier and bandmates Evan Westfall\, Matt Vinson\, Joseph Kavalec\, and Nicholas Falk. Put it all together and you’ve got a rich\, rousing record built on love and trust in the face of doubt and uncertainty\, a joyful\, cathartic work about not just accepting change\, but learning to embrace it. The album debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Americana/Folk Albums chart and features fan favorite “Mistakes” which earned the band their fifth #1 at AAA Radio in 2025. \n\n\n\n“When we were putting the finishing touches on this record\, I started noticing copper everywhere I went\,” Meier recalls. “The older it was\, the more imperfect the finish had become\, but that patina was what gave it character. That’s the way I feel about our band ten years in.” \n\n\n\nFounded by childhood friends Meier and Westfall in Athens\, OH\, Caamp rocketed to early acclaim on the strength of their self-titled 2016 debut\, which generated hundreds of millions of streams across platforms and garnered the band their first gold single. Three years later\, the group topped the Billboard Heatseekers chart with their sophomore effort\, By and By\, which hit #1 at AAA radio\, earned the band festival slots everywhere from Outside Lands to Newport Folk\, and led to TV performances on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert\, Jimmy Kimmel Live!\, and CBS Saturday Morning. Caamp’s Lavender Days (2022) landed on NPR’s list of the year’s best roots albums\, topped the Americana Albums chart\, and earned the band their second and third #1 singles at AAA radio. In 2025\, the band released “And It’s Gone\,” written by Meier and featured as the theme song for the Apple TV+ series Stick\, starring Owen Wilson. \n\n\n\n“It’s so fun to just strike your guitar and let it echo through a room that size\,” says Westfall. “There’s something primal about it\, and while we never really consciously discussed it\, I think you can hear our sound growing to match the rooms we’re playing.” \n\n\n\nThough the band’s momentum seemed unstoppable in the wake of Lavender Days (to date\, they’ve amassed over 2.5 billion streams worldwide)\, Caamp’s 2025 U.S. headline tour reaffirmed their place as one of the most captivating live bands in modern music. The 33 show run sold over 200\,000 tickets and included sold-out nights at Fiddler’s Green Amphitheatre\, The Salt Shed (two nights)\, The Anthem (two nights)\, The Greek Theatre\, and Radio City Music Hall (two nights). \n\n\n\n“I’ve experienced so many different versions of myself these past few years\,” Meier reflects. “I’ve been focusing on healing and recovery while still processing a lot of grief and loss\, and it made me take stock of my head and my heart and my friends and my family and figure out what really matters.” \n\n\n\nAs Meier found himself embarking on new phases during this period — he turned thirty\, began splitting his time between central Ohio and the Lower East Side of Manhattan\, and fell in love with early-2000s indie bands like The Strokes — he also found himself recommitted and more grateful than ever for the steadfast connection he shared with his bandmates. \n\n\n\n“There’s just so much trust\,” says Meier. “We trust each other\, we trust the songs\, we trust the process. It allows us to work freely and push ourselves to places we haven’t been.” \n\n\n\nWhen it came time to record\, the band headed first to El Paso’s famed Sonic Ranch Studio\, where they tracked nearly 20 songs in just a week with Artola and drummer/longtime collaborator Josh Block (Leon Bridges\, White Denim). After a break\, the group headed to Portland’s Flora Recording to collaborate with Martine on another batch of tunes before finishing up with a final session at Manhattan’s Sear Sound. \n\n\n\n“There was no rush\,” says Vinson. “We knew we could take our time and enjoy just getting together in a room and seeing what happened when we took our sound to some uncharted places. There’s a live performance at the core of each of these tracks\, and I think that’s what ties this whole collection together.” \n\n\n\nThat live energy is obvious from the outset on Copper Changes Color\, which opens with the driving “Millions.” Punchy and magnetic\, the track shifts partway through from sunny garage rock to muscular Americana\, setting the stage perfectly for a record that boldly walks the line between genres while proudly wearing its heart on its sleeve. The lush “One True Way” (feat. Madi Diaz) questions whether anyone ever truly knows what they’re doing\, while the mesmerizing “Fairview Feeling” makes peace with our imperfections\, and the effervescent “Mistakes” lays its cards on the table\, with Meier singing\, “Can I get to know you\, honey / And all of your lovely mistakes / I’ve got more than a few to show you.” \n\n\n\n“I remember walking around when I first moved to New York and having all this dialogue in my head\,” he explains\, “but the streets were even more chaotic\, which slowed things down and allowed me to open up to the possibility of writing something really vulnerable. I found that the city scratches a different itch for me\, and I spent a lot of time there just walking around\, writing and rewriting verses and trying to go deeper than I ever have on this record.” \n\n\n\nDeep as Meier takes things\, he and the band never lose sight of life’s simple pleasures. The addictive “Porchswing” revels in the joys of a steady\, reliable love; the Britpop-tinged “Shade” pledges to always be there to pick up a partner’s slack; the exhilarating “Waiting Up (For You)” basks in the glow of a connection that transcends distance; and the tongue-in-cheek “Ohio’s Ugly” savors the feeling of sharing a place you love with someone you care about. \n\n\n\n“It’s a song about falling in love with a girl and wanting to pull her back to Ohio\,” Meier explains. “People don’t understand why we’re still here\, but anybody from the Midwest will tell you there’s a magic to it. I travel all over the world now\, but nothing beats coming home.” \n\n\n\nUltimately\, Copper Changes Color is all about that push and pull between old and new\, between the thrill of the unknown and the comforts of the familiar. “No one knows how long this lasts / Try and make it sweet\,” Meier sings on poignant album closer “Drive.” Change isn’t just inevitable\, it’s essential. Enjoy the patina. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout Blind Pilot \n\n\n\nThe first Blind Pilot album in eight years\, In the Shadow of the Holy Mountain emerged from a period of artistic crisis and the radical transformation of their creative ecosystem. “I went through a few years where I wasn’t able to write—I tried therapy\, I read books on writer’s block\, I went on writing trips\, but nothing was helping\,” says Israel Nebeker\, frontman for the Oregon-bred band. After stepping back and reimagining his songwriting approach\, Nebeker challenged himself to write an entire album in a month\, then brought those songs to his bandmates with a newfound sense of receptivity. “I told myself that whatever songs came through in that month would be for the love of the band and music we make together\,” says Nebeker. “Instead of being controlling in the studio\, I wanted to let the songs live and breathe with the band as an entity. By the time we finished\, it was the most joy we’d ever had in making an album together.” \n\n\n\nProduced by Josh Kaufman (The Hold Steady\, David Wax Museum)\, In the Shadow of the Holy Mountain brings a potent new energy to the elegantly composed folk/indie-rock of past LPs like 2016’s And Then Like Lions. In a profound step forward for the band—whose lineup also includes drummer/co-founder Ryan Dobrowski\, bassist Luke Ydstie\, and multi-instrumentalist Kati Claborn—Blind Pilot’s fourth full-length unfolds with an exquisite fluidity\, fully harnessing the undeniable chemistry. “In the past we’ve always been very serious and intentional about the process\, but Josh often encouraged us to throw away our preconceived notions of what the songs were supposed to be\,” says Nebeker. “So much of the album came from all of us playing live together\, listening to each other and trusting our instincts\, and really getting to the core of the song\,” Dobrowski adds. The result: the most revelatory expression yet of Blind Pilot’s palpable reverence for music as a connective force. \n\n\n\nWhile Blind Pilot intends to tour principally as a quartet in support of the record\, the album includes contributions from longtime trumpeter/keyboardist Dave Jorgensen and vibraphonist Ian Krist. In bringing the album to life\, the band worked with a rich palette of instrumentation\, handling each track with equal parts extraordinary care and unbridled spontaneity. For both Dobrowski and Nebeker—who formed an early iteration of the band as college students in the mid-aughts—those moments of ineffably closeness serve as the lifeblood of Blind Pilot. “For me making this album felt like celebrating being together and still feeling that deep connection that’s been a throughline for our entire adult lives\,” Dobrowski says. “One of my very favorite things about music is the way it not only connects us as bandmates\, but allows us to connect to an audience—and then within that audience\, people end up connecting with each other. It’s this powerful thing that’s unlike anything else\, and in a way it’s kind of like magic.”

As a young group of musicians\, they were the prototype of the modern\, self-starting band–taking charge of their fate by working the internet and building an identifiable sound. The band’s music\, a rock/reggae fusion\, consisted of songs that were fully accessible\, yet teasingly elusive. Attracting fans all across the country\, the band members toured relentlessly\, pushing their album sales through boundless dedication and word-of- mouth appeal\, never waiting for the industry to catch up. \n\n\n\nBy the time the band had reached their 10 year anniversary together\, they had sold over 1.2 million albums and performed in front of over 1 million people. Their most recent studio record\, Stories of a Stranger\, produced radio favorites “Love and Memories” and “Heard the World” as well as mtvU’s Most Downloaded Video of 2006\, “Lay Down.” The band followed up the successful release with a live double disc CD and DVD set\, Live From Madison Square Garden\, recorded during the band’s second sold-out performance at the prestigious arena. Earlier this year\, the band holed themselves up in a studio in Los Angeles to work on their next project\, All Sides. The album\, due out July 15th\, is certain to be yet another milestone in O.A.R.’s storied career. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout Gavin DeGraw \n\n\n\nGRAMMY® Award-nominated\, multi-Platinum singer and songwriter Gavin DeGraw’s inimitable voice and soulful style boldly bloomed on his 2003 Platinum-certified full-length debut\, Chariot. It included the Gold single “Follow Through\,” as well as Platinum hits\, “Chariot\,” and “I Don’t Want To Be.” In 2008\, his self-titled second album\, Gavin DeGraw\, bowed in the Top 10 of the Billboard Top 200 powered by the Platinum-selling single “In Love With a Girl.” His Gold-certified project Sweeter saw him return to the Top 10 as the single “Not Over You” went four-times Platinum. Meanwhile\, his duet with Colbie Caillat\, “We Both Know\,” from the motion picture “Safe Haven” garnered a GRAMMY® Award nomination for Best Song Written For Visual Media. With a front row seat to this wonderfully wild life led by his late parents Lynne and John Wayne\, DeGraw recounts his most meaningful memories and valuable lessons on his most seventh full-length offering\, Face The River. In 2023\, DeGraw released his applauded first-ever Christmas EP\, A Classic Christmas\, and most recently revisited the album that started it all with Chariot 20\, a reimagined anniversary celebration of his lauded debut. DeGraw is the rare talent who can seamlessly share the stage with Billy Joel and The Allman Brothers or Maroon 5 and Shania Twain with his signature fusion of pop\, soul\, country\, folk and funk.

Known for an immaculately crafted but endlessly surprising sound that transcends the boundaries of roots\, country\, rock & roll\, and pop\, Alison Krauss & Union Station released their highly anticipated new album\, Arcadia\, in 2025. This marked their first studio album since the 2011 masterpiece Paper Airplane—a critically lauded\, multiple Grammy Award winning LP that debuted at #1 on the Billboard Country\, Bluegrass\, and Folk Album charts. Over the years\, Alison Krauss & Union Station have brought their phenomenal live show to sold-out performances at famed venues like Red Rocks Amphitheatre\, The Greek Theatre\, Radio City Music Hall\, and London’s Royal Festival Hall\, in addition to supporting Paul Simon in Hyde Park for his 2012 Graceland reunion.
