A wide variety of songs are welcome\, but ones with catchy choruses\, call and response\, or that are generally “sing-along-able” work best. We take turns leading songs\, and everyone joins in on the chorus or other repeated parts. It’s also totally fine to just sing along! You don’t have to lead a song if you don’t want to. \n\n\n\nTraditional songs\, folk songs\, sea chanties\, etc. are all great genres to draw from. We sing a cappella\, so no instruments are needed. \n\n\n\nFeel free to bring print outs of lyrics to share 🙂We hope you’ll join us!

Praised by Jess Walter as “Lovely\, vital writing that challenges and makes personal the tired conceptions and biases we have about poverty” and by Jamie Ford as “A luminous meditation on growing up with empty pockets but a heart full of wildflowers\,” Raised by Ferns will appeal to readers interested in place-based writing\, class tensions\, the struggles and joys of parenthood and family\, and the trouble with systems that don’t serve most of us. \n\n\n\nAbout Maya: A 2024 Washington State Artist Trust Fellow\, Maya Jewell Zeller is most recently the author of The Wonder of Mushrooms (AdventureKEEN\, 2025); and out takes/ glove box (New American Press\, 2023)\, chosen by Eduardo Corral as winner of the 2022 New American Poetry Prize and praised by Diane Seuss as “ the kind of deft performance only a mermaid or a mother could pull off.” Jewell Zeller is also co-author\, with Kathryn Nuernberger\, of Advanced Poetry: A Writer’s Guide and Anthology (Bloomsbury\, 2024) as well as the interdisciplinary collaboration\, with visual artist Carrie DeBacker\, Alchemy for Cells & Other Beasts (Entre Rios Books\, 2017). Earlier collections include the chapbook Yesterday\, the Bees (Floating Bridge Press\, 2015) and Rust Fish (Lost Horse Press\, 2011). She also co-edited\, with Washington State Book Award winner Sharma Shields\, the multi-genre anthology Evergreen: Grim Tales & Verses From the Gloomy Northwest (Scablands Books\, 2021). Recipient of a Promise Award from the Sustainable Arts Foundation\, a Writing Fellowship from Oxford\, and two residencies in the H.J. Andrews Experimental Forest\, Jewell Zeller has presented her work in Madrid\, as part of the Unamuno Author Festival\, and at the University of Oxford. She serves as Professor for Central Washington University and as Affiliate Faculty in Poetry and Nature Writing for the low-residency MFA at Western Colorado University. She lives in the Inland Northwest with her teens. \n\n\n\nAbout Sharma: SHARMA SHIELDS is the author of a short story collection\, Favorite Monster (Autumn House Press 2012)\, and three novels\, The Sasquatch Hunter’s Almanac (Henry Holt 2015)\, The Cassandra (Henry Holt 2019)\, and Duckling (forthcoming from Henry Holt in 2027) . Sharma’s short stories and essays have appeared in The New York Times\, Electric Lit\, Catapult\, Slice\, Slate\, Kenyon Review\, Iowa Review\, Fugue\, and elsewhere and have garnered such prizes as the 2020 PNBA Award\, a 2020 Artist Trust Fellowship\, 2016 Washington State Book Award\, the Autumn House Fiction Prize\, the Tim McGinnis Award for Humor\, and the A.B. Guthrie Award for Outstanding Prose. She managed a small press\, Scablands Books (now dormant)\, and is a contributing editor for Moss. Sharma has worked in independent bookstores and public libraries throughout Washington State and is currently the Writing Education Specialist for Spokane Public Library. In autumn of 2025\, Sharma received a Humanities Washington Changemaker Award for her library service and contributions to the Inland Northwest literary community.

Known for their unparalleled dedication to faithfully recreating the legendary band’s live performances\, Zoso has earned accolades from both critics and fans alike. \n\n\n\nZoso’s live performances focus on the raw energy and intricate musicality of Led Zeppelin’s best-known hits and deeper tracks\, with a particular emphasis on recreating their live show experience. The band’s commitment to authenticity has earned them praise from major outlets\, with the LA Times calling them “head and shoulders above all other Led Zeppelin tributes\,” and the St. Petersburg Times describing them as “the most exacting of all the Led Zeppelin tributes.” \n\n\n\nThe band was founded in 1995 by Matt Jernigan and Adam Sandling\, both of whom are renowned for their exceptional musicianship and passion for Led Zeppelin’s music. Jernigan\, who takes on the colossal role of Robert Plant\, has a commanding stage presence that rivals the icon himself. A fan of Zoso\, Rainero didn’t let an opportunity slip away when he learned of an opening in the band’s lineup. His story read like something straight out of a movie script; Rainero reached out directly to the band through social media to request an audition. While dozens of musicians had already contacted the band with no success\, Rainero’s determination set him apart. \n\n\n\nRefusing to take no for an answer\, he began uploading videos of himself playing classic songs from the band in his bedroom. It didn’t take long for the band to recognize his extraordinary talent. His playing was not just skilled\, it was a truly inspired performance\, with the technical mastery and soul that made it clear he was something special. \n\n\n\nThe band immediately got him to Atlanta for an in-person audition. Rainero\, ever ready\, arrived with his bags packed\, knowing he was prepared to seize the moment. His live audition exceeded all expectations\, and within days\, he was on tour with the band\, stepping into one of rock history’s most iconic roles. \n\n\n\nAfter starting out 2025 touring with Zakk Wylde on the Zakk Sabbath tour. The band has now embarked on its 30th anniversary headlining tour. New dates for the tour are being added every week with the hopes of reaching 150 shows this year.
