When Gibson Guitars moved their acoustic instrument division to Bozeman in 1980\, many new and skilled instruments makers were lured to Montana creating a remarkably high concentration of Master Luthiers within one state. Luthiers from Bozeman\, Livingston\, Belgrade\, Manhattan\, Boulder\, Missoula\, Potomac\, Alberton and Libby have all been invited to the 2026 Missoula Guitar Show to exhibit their acoustic\, electric\, steel and resonator guitars. \n\n\n\nThe Show gallery will be open at the ZACC from 12:00 pm Noon to 5:30 pm each day leading up to the Jazzoula evening performances. On the closing night of the festival\, a raffle will be held to give away a Custom Telecaster hand-painted by renowned Scottish artist Jennifer Armstrong valued at $2\,200. Sara will be in attendance for an artist talk at 5:30 pm\, with music by Dylan Running Crane. \n\n\n\nMAM first presented Siestreem’s work in 2013\, and in the years since her artistic growth has been remarkable. Drawing on traditional basket weaving practices\, she weaves ancestral pattern motifs into bold geometric abstractions — proud and powerful expressions of Indigenous sovereignty. Luthiers from Bozeman\, Livingston\, Belgrade\, Manhattan\, Boulder\, Missoula\, Potomac\, Alberton and Libby have all been invited to the 2026 Missoula Guitar Show to exhibit their acoustic\, electric\, steel and resonator guitars. \n\n\n\nThe Show gallery will be open at the ZACC from 12:00 pm Noon to 5:30 pm each day leading up to the Jazzoula evening performances.
