Named after St. Ignatius in the Mission Valley—home to the group’s founding members and named for the patron saint of soldiers—the band draws on their roots in rural Montana to bridge the past into the present. Through their relatable\, poetic storytelling and by recording songs in historic locations\, they connect a modern perspective with the lives and experiences of those who came before. Their music draws from indie folk\, rock\, Midwest emo\, and bluegrass\, creating a unique blend that is both reflective and exhilarating. \n\n\n\nTheir debut singles launched with a series of immersive music videos and live session recordings\, each set at historic Montana landmarks including the Philipsburg Opera House Theatre\, the Conrad Mansion\, and Paradise Elementary School. After writing and recording two independent EPs (Into the Sun and Mighty) on his own\, demand grew for Lord Huron to perform live. Schneider recruited friends Mark Barry (percussion)\, Miguel Briseño (bass) and Tom Renaud (guitar). Having first played music together at the tender age of 12\, the group reunited and quickly hit their stride\, transforming the project into a full-fledged live band. Lord Huron’s debut LP Lonesome Dreams was released in 2012 followed by Strange Trails in 2015. After writing and recording two independent EPs (Into the Sun and Mighty) on his own\, demand grew for Lord Huron to perform live. Schneider recruited friends Mark Barry (percussion)\, Miguel Briseño (bass) and Tom Renaud (guitar). Having first played music together at the tender age of 12\, the group reunited and quickly hit their stride\, transforming the project into a full-fledged live band. Lord Huron’s debut LP Lonesome Dreams was released in 2012 followed by Strange Trails in 2015. The latter featured the multi-platinum single “The Night We Met\,” which has gone on to become one of Spotify’s Top 40 most-streamed songs of all time. In 2018\, Lord Huron earned widespread critical acclaim and a Top 5 debut on the Billboard Top 200 with their third album\, Vide Noir. Lord Huron’s most recent LP Long Lost garnered praise from NPR\, Time\, Los Angeles Times\, Spin and Stereogum and sparked performances on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon\, Jimmy Kimmel Live!\, The Late Late Show with James Corden and CBS This Morning: Saturday. The band’s extensive touring includes headline shows at some of the most storied venues in the country (including the Hollywood Bowl\, Red Rocks Amphitheatre\, and the Ryman Auditorium) and festivals ranging from Coachella and Lollapalooza to Bonnaroo\, Outside Lands and more.

Elephant Gerald’s Jazz Jam is built around a rotating house band\, with each Wednesday featuring a different theme – from western swing and country jazz with the High Noon Swing Band\, to swing standards with The JIVE\, an anything-goes jazz and blues jam with the Elephant Gerald house band and rotating guests\, and a gypsy jazz night with the Skalsky Brothers. When there’s a fifth Wednesday\, the stage turns over to a vocal spotlight night for singers. Sit in or just sit back – the house band keeps the music flowing all night.
