SUMMARY:Two Crows for Comfort at Longstaff House
DESCRIPTION:Roots-folk duo Two Crows for Comfort perform live at Longstaff House in Missoula from 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm Thursday\, July 23\n\n\n\n\n\nHarmony singing is so key to roots-folk music – and Two Crows have nailed that perfectly. \n\n\n\nWhat differentiates them within their genre are uniquely arranged original songs that allow their voices to blend and bend around the stories within their often-poignant lyrics. \n\n\n\nThis is acoustic folk music at its best. \n\n\n\nCory’s light-hearted\, funny\, between-song banter makes the show even better.

Born in Texas\, raised in Louisville\, Kentucky and educated in Tulsa\, Oklahoma and… Australia\, Nichols has lived a lot of life in her 23 years and channels her observations and experiences into her songs\, often infusing commentary on everything from society and small-town life to current cultural trends into her lyrics. \n\n\n\nNichols burst onto the scene with the online phenomenon “I Got a New One” and has been building a fan base and online presence of 1M+ with each release with original songs like “Trailer Treasure\,” “Bad Taste” and “Somebody Cooked Here” each of them delivered in a sweet drawl thats both relatable and disarming. Her sparky release\, “Mama” seamlessly blends a broad- minded cheekiness (reminiscent of Kacey Musgrave’s Same Trailer Different Park-era) with a Toby Keith brashness and has accumulated 8 million views online. It’s not just fans who are taking notice\, the astute wordsmith has piqued the interest of the industry landing on a slew of “artist to watch” lists including Amazon Music\, Pandora\, Country Now\, Taste of Country\, Women of Country\, Holler\, Entertainment Focus\, All Country News\, Country Minuteand more. Nichols also captured the attention of Kelly Clarkson who covered “I Got A New One” on her show and the buzz surrounding her performance and Elizabeth’s reaction catapulted the song to the No. 1 song on the Country iTunes chart for multiple weeks. \n\n\n\nShe released her debut EP\, Tough Love in June and has already followed it up with new release including “Sweet Cigarette\,” the gut-punching “Daughter\,” cheeky ditty “Little Birds” and even cheekier “Oh The Things Men Do.” Nichols is continuing to create new music while also hitting the pavement to perform live. Since putting law school on pause in January 2025\, she has performed on several bucket list worthy stages including the legendary Blue Bird Cafe\, The Grand Ole Opry\, CMA Fest\, Stagecoach\, Kentucky Derby and The Kelly Clarkson Show and supported artists like Little Big Town\, Russell Dickerson\, Wyatt Flores and more. The PULSE Records artist is signed to CAA for booking. For more information and to stay up to date\, follow along on Instagram\, TikTok\, Facebook and YouTube.

SUMMARY:Alice in Wonderland at Missoula Children's Theatre
DESCRIPTION:Missoula Children’s Theatre presents Alice in Wonderland\, an original adaptation based on Lewis Carroll’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass with Session 1 performances at 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm Thursday\, July 2; and Session 2 performances at 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm Friday\, July 24\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Missoula Children’s Theatre presents Alice in Wonderland\, an original adaptation based on Lewis Carroll’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass. The story begins with Alice and her older sister Margaret reading together. Margaret becomes frustrated as Alice is curious about absolutely everything. Suddenly\, a White Rabbit appears from nowhere. After a quick and nonsensical conversation\, Alice follows the rabbit to a strange and wonderful place. In the course of her adventures\, Alice meets a band of Flowers\, the King and Queen of Hearts\, the Knave and the rest of the suit of Cards\, a giant Caterpillar\, a Fish\, a Frog\, the Duchess\, the Cook\, the Cheshire Cat\, the Gryphon\, the Mock Turtle\, a group of singing Lobsters\, Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum\, the March Hare\, the Mad Hatter\, the Dormouse and Humpty Dumpty. Through it all\, Alice grows “curiouser and curiouser” as to where she is and even who she is. In the end\, the answers she seeks are unimportant. Wonderland is all nonsense\, anyway. As the White Rabbit explains\, “Nonsense is fun!” \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nBased upon Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass by Louis CarrollMusic by David W. SUMMARY:Tylor & The Train Robbers at Monk's Bar
DESCRIPTION:Idaho’s Americana band Tylor & the Train Robbers bring their blend of outlaw country\, folk\, and red-dirt rock to Monk’s Bar in Downtown Missoula at 8:00 pm Friday\, July 24\n\n\n\n\n\nDoors @ 7:00 pm / 21+ \n\n\n\nIdaho Americana band Tylor & the Train Robbers bring their blend of outlaw country\, folk\, and red-dirt rock to Monk’s! \n\n\n\nTylor & the Train Robbers are an Americana band rooted in the high desert landscapes of the American West and based out of Boise\, Idaho. \n\n\n\nKnown for their gritty lyricism\, tight musicianship\, and relentless work ethic\, the band has carved out a space in the national roots music scene with a sound that’s as timeless as it is fresh. \n\n\n\nFronted by singer-songwriter Tylor Ketchum\, and joined by brothers Jason Bushman (bass) and Tommy Bushman (drums)\, along with lead guitarist Antonio Vazquez\, their musical bond runs deep-fueled by family\, hard touring\, and a shared love of authentic storytelling. \n\n\n\nTheir music blends outlaw country\, red-dirt rock\, folk\, and Western soul\, echoing influences like Robert Earl Keen\, Townes Van Zandt\, and Steve Earle\, while forging a path that’s distinctly their own. \n\n\n\nWith rich harmonies and road-worn energy\, Tylor & the Train Robbers turn every show into a journey-equal parts sweat\, soul\, and story. \n\n\n\nSince releasing their 2017 debut album Gravel\, the band has continued to evolve both in sound and scope. \n\n\n\nTheir 2019 follow-up\, Best of the Worst Kind\, dug deeper into historical and personal narratives -most notably on “The Ballad of Black Jack Ketchum\,” inspired by Tylor’s distant relative and legendary outlaw. \n\n\n\nIn 2022\, they released Non-Typical Find\, a standout record produced by Cody Braun of Reckless Kelly\, showcasing a more refined\, expansive sound that remained grounded in character-driven songwriting. \n\n\n\nTheir latest release\, Hum of the Road (2024)\, further solidified their voice in the Americana scene-offering ten tracks that span rock-and-roll grit\, country swing\, and even touches of psychedelic folk. \n\n\n\nRecorded in Wimberley\, TX\, and produced by Cody Braun\, the album captures the tension\, romance\, and rawness of life on tour. \n\n\n\nAs Tylor puts it\, “Life on the road definitely can feel like the Wild West at times.” \n\n\n\nBuilding on the momentum of that release\, the band is now preparing to launch a new live album\, recorded in their hometown of Boise\, Idaho\, and set for release this January. \n\n\n\nThe project captures the raw energy of their live show and the deep connection they’ve built with their fans through years of relentless touring – sometimes clocking in over 200 shows a year. \n\n\n\nTylor & the Train Robbers have shared stages with Americana heavyweights like Turnpike Troubadours\, Reckless Kelly\, Silverada\, and The Wilder Blue\, earning a reputation as one of the hardest-working and most authentic bands on the circuit. \n\n\n\nWhether playing an intimate club or a packed festival stage\, they deliver performances rooted in honesty\, grit\, and brotherhood. \n\n\n\nFrom the open highways of the West to dive bars and festival fields\, Tylor & the Train Robbers continue to ride forward-carrying stories worth telling and songs worth singing.
