However\, it wasn’t until his senior year of high school\, when he earned a solo in the Massachusetts Southeastern District Senior Choir\, that he realized his potential as a musician. As a freshman at Stonehill College\, he decided to follow his passion for music. For the next five years\, he spent his summers performing with the Cape Cod-based a cappella group\, Hyannis Sound\, and his love for music deepened. Alongside Micah’s passion for music is his desire to help build a better world. He has volunteered for a year in Honduras\, and a month in Calcutta\, India with Mother Teresa’s Missionaries of Charity. Also\, in 2013\, after graduating from Boston University with a Master of Divinity\, he and his wife volunteered in a rural community in northern Peru for another year. Through music and storytelling\, Micah hopes to inspire others to use their gifts to spread love and build a better world. \n\n\n\nCordaro Rodriguez was born in Charlotte\, North Carolina. He began teaching himself piano at the age of 10 and became well-versed in several other instruments as well as in music production. He has produced music for several well-known international artists such as Verbal\, Kylie Minogue\, CREAM\, and Def Tech. After graduating from Princeton University in 2008 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology\, he spent a year volunteering as an English teacher in Ecuador. He then attended Boston University School of Law where he received his Juris Doctor degree in 2012. At Boston University he met his future bandmate – Micah Christian. Cordaro is very grateful to have the opportunity to pursue his love for music. \n\n\n\nJahmori Simmons\, recognized by the moniker “Jay-Mo Dejon\,” is a luminary harpist and producer hailing from the vibrant music scene of Atlanta\, Georgia. His versatile career spans the realms of harp performance and contemporary music production\, creating a unique tapestry that seamlessly blends classical elegance with contemporary flair. / Since graduating from the esteemed University of Georgia\, Simmons’ career highlights have included 26 BRIT certified Silver\, Gold\, and Platinum singles and albums in the UK\, as well as Multi-Platinum Certifications in Australia\, Austria\, Belgium\, Denmark\, Hungary\, and Poland. Most recently\, Simmons’ artistic endeavors reached new heights with his collaboration with Fantasia Barrino and Taraji P. Henson in the 2024 rendition of the film “The Color Purple\,” whose producers include Oprah Winfrey\, Steven Spielberg\, and Quincy Jones. Simmons showcased his ability to contribute to both the musical and cinematic landscapes\, adding a layer of richness to this iconic production. / Whether crafting chart-topping hits\, enchanting audiences with the ethereal sounds of the harp\, or contributing to cinematic masterpieces\, Jahmori Simmons\, aka Jay-Mo Dejon\, exemplifies the essence of a true artist — while pushing artistic boundaries\, and solidifying his place as a groundbreaking force in the world of music and beyond.Zachary Brown is a NYC based cellist\, born in Far Rockaway\, Queens. Zach is both a classically and progressive/improvisation trained cellist. The multi-Grammy Award-nominated and gold-certified band don’t just talk about burning the rules and breaking the mold; they actually do so. \n\n\n\nThe band’s chemically imbalanced mix of gritty guitars\, haunting piano\, off-kilter synths\, hip-hop production\, cinematic vision\, and beautifully possessed vocals transformed them into a phenomenon beloved by a diehard global fanbase known as “MCID” (My Crew Is Dope). After grinding it out as an underground curiosity\, they scraped a path to mainstream infamy with their 2015 full-length debut\, “Mister Asylum”. It earned a Grammy Award nomination in the category of “Best Rock Album” as the single “Lydia” received a nomination for “Best Rock Song” was certified gold by the RIAA. \n\n\n\nThe 2016 follow-up “The Boy Who Died Wolf” roared to life with the gold-selling “My Name Is Human”\, which catapulted to #1 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock chart and garnered the band’s third career Grammy nomination for “Best Rock Song.” 2019’s “MCID” affirmed them as the rare outfit who could collaborate with Young Thug and GOJIRA on the same album. Loudwire hailed the latter among the “50 Best Rock Albums Of 2019.” \n\n\n\nWith hundreds of millions of streams and sold out shows on multiple continents\, HIGHLY SUSPECT charged ahead of the pack again on 2022’s “The Midnight Demon Club” and 2024’s “As Above\, So Below” with no compromises and no apologies as they challenged rock to be dangerous and maybe even life-changing again. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout YelawolfContinuing a wild ride from humble beginnings in Gadsden\, Alabama\, to the forefront of popular culture\, Yelawolf certainly has a lot to say. The Nashville-based\, multi-platinum\, chart-topping artist\, entrepreneur\, and Slumerican founder has consistently asserted himself as an outlier and outlaw without comparison. He catalyzed his breakthrough with Radioactive\, which was awarded a coveted 4.5-out-of-5-star rating by The Source. The gold-certified Love Story debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200\, highlighted by the platinum singles “Till It’s Gone” and “Best Friend” featuring Eminem. He maintained his momentum with Trial by Fire and Ghetto Cowboy\, spawning the platinum-certified hit “You and Me.” He emerged as the rare artist versatile enough to deliver The Slumdon Bridge EP with Ed Sheeran and Psycho White EP with Travis Barker. A$AP Rocky\, Big Boi\, blink-182\, Eminem\, Juicy J\, Korn\, and Tech N9ne have all sought him out for verses. His albums have featured Flea of Red Hot Chili Peppers\, Wynonna Judd\, Kid Rock\, Killer Mike\, Raekwon\, and Diplo. Frequent collaborator Jelly Roll even pledged his allegiance with Slumerican ink. Meanwhile\, Slumerican’s catalog expanded with releases by DJ Paul and Struggle Jennings. In 2022\, he released his full-length rock LP\, Sometimes Y\, with multi-GRAMMY® Award-winning producer and artist Shooter Jennings. Yelawolf has built Slumerican into a worldwide merchandise empire and Creek Water Whiskey into a nationally distributed spirits brand. He has performed on Jimmy Kimmel Live!\, appeared on MTV’s Ridiculousness\, acted in The Peanut Butter Falcon\, and toured with Deftones\, among many others. In 2024\, he raised the stakes with his first-ever double album: War Story: Trunk Muzik 4Ever and War Story: Michael Wayne. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout Passengers UnknownWe are a listener interpreted rock band from texas who love to play in front of the crowds we inspire. With lively tunes to slower ballads\, we deliver a unique variable to the modern music scene. Composed of songwriter Adrianne Lenker\, guitarist Buck Meek\, and drummer James Krivchenia\, their creative output is seemingly limitless\, sprawling across five critically-acclaimed albums. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout PorchesShirt\, the new album from Aaron Maine aka Porches\, is part angsty fantasy\, part confessional melodrama – a rock album that oscillates between reality and make-believe to reflect both the innocence of suburban youth and the frayed reality of adulthood. A fusion of chaotic impulses\, insatiable desires\, and a perpetual yearning\, Shirt plays with the tension between one’s person and persona – the weight of your dreams crashing up against your reality. \n\n\n\nShirt is instantly recognizable as Porches’ heaviest album to date. Grungy guitars that shine with a menacing glint\, drums and bass that punch you warmly in the stomach\, interspersed with moments of eerie calmness to create a physical sense of tension and release that resonates with each track. From moments of punk-fueled aggression to introspective country-twanged respites\, the album combines an array of influences to create the sensation of a mood on the brink of swinging. \n\n\n\nPorches’ music is equally personal and universal\, tapping into moments in life that are intimate\, absurd\, banal and strangely everyday. His output takes a lifetime of songwriting and cuts it down to its most fundamental parts\, taking the listener on a dreamy\, primal journey through the mind of a man coping with an incomprehensible time\, reveling in the joy and confusion of living through it all.

SUMMARY:Shovels & Rope live with Nolan Taylor at Wachholz College Center
DESCRIPTION:American folk duo Shovels & Rope performs live at Kalispell’s Wachholz College Center with Nolan Taylor at 7:30 pm Wednesday\, October 7\n\n\n\n\n\nWCC welcomes SHOVELS & ROPE to the Flathead Valley for a live performance at 7:30 pm Wednesday\, October 7.  \n\n\n\nShovels & Rope is an American folk + americana duo made up of married musicians Michael Trent and Cary Ann Hearst. \n\n\n\nBased out of Charleston\, they’re known for their raw\, energetic sound that blends folk\, country\, rock\, and a bit of blues. \n\n\n\nTheir seventh album Something Is Working Up Above My Head was released in September of 2024. \n\n\n\nSee below for details about Something Is Working Up Above My Head. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nOPENING:  NOLAN TAYLOR \n\n\n\nWhen Nolan Taylor grabs a guitar and steps up to a microphone\, he speaks for the desperate\, the deserted\, and the downtrodden who deserve a voice and demand a chance to be heard. The Ohio-raised and Nashville-based singer\,songwriter\, and guitarist knows the hopelessness of an impoverished upbringing surrounded by addiction firsthand. However\, he also knows what the light at the end of the tunnel feels like – because he dug himself out of despair and found that light. Growing up in Blanchester\, OH\, he initially lived in a small home. His mother fell prey to drugs and mental health turbulence\, leaving Nolan and his brother to be raised by dad – who worked several jobs to make ends meet. He bounced around from place-to-place until life settled down during sophomore year of high school. Music offered a semblance of stability. Upon graduating high school\, Nolan tirelessly gigged anywhere he could. A live video of “68” (which directly addresses the relationship with his mom and the topic of addiction) went viral and caught the attention of Atlantic Records. He gained traction with the Life & Love EP and Live From The Living Room EP. Beyond sharing bills with everyone from The Revivalists and City and Colour to 49 Winchester\, Charley Crockett\, and Band of Horses he sold out his headline Cincinnati Heart Tour. He contributed “Driving You Home” to Twisters: The Album\, the companion soundtrack to the blockbuster film which went on to be nominated for a GRAMMY®. Nolan invited audiences into the heart of where he grew up (and the Heartland of the country) on his 2025 self-titled full-length debut\, Nolan Taylor [Atlantic Records]\, and looks to expand his catalog with a new EP slated for release in 2026.

After leaving home at age 17 and getting a job on a pipeline\, the British Columbia native discovered his passion for singing and devoted himself to making music\, soon breaking through with his 2024 debut EP Quitter—a fearlessly candid collection of country/folk songs inspired by his journey in overcoming addiction. In a testament to the pure force of his storytelling\, the 22-year-old singer/songwriter has ascended to tremendous heights in the past year alone\, including headlining multiple tours across North America and Europe\, amassing over 600 million global catalog streams\, and landing on 2025 Artist to Watch lists from Spotify and Amazon Music—all before releasing a full-length project. On his debut album The Hard Way\, Whitcomb now shares his most powerful work yet: a selection of songs that willfully stare down his demons\, instilling every moment with equal parts grit and sensitivity and explosively poetic detail. The Hard Way debuted at #1 on the Canadian Country Albums chart\, establishing Whitcomb’s position as one of the leading voices in country music today. Upon release\, the album quickly surpassed 100 million on-demand streams nationwide\, achieving Certified Gold status in Canada. \n\n\n\nMade in close collaboration with producer Jack Riley (Knox\, Grace VanderWaal)\, The Hard Way includes Whitcomb’s chart-climbing singles “Medusa” and “Quitter” (nominated for Single Of The Year at the 2025 Canadian Country Music Awards where he won Breakthrough Artist of the Year and Fan’s Choice)\, both of which continue to rack up over a million streams weekly in the U.S. and two million streams weekly across the globe. Also featuring standouts like “Hundred Mile High” (a No. 33 hit on Billboard’s Hot Rock & Alternative Songs chart)\, the 15-track album ricochets from stripped-back folk to rough-edged country to punk-leaning pop as Whitcomb offers a real-time glimpse into his inner world. While gearing up for The Hard Way’s arrival\, Whitcomb recently embarked on his I’ve Got Options Tour – a fast-selling North American headline run including a two-night stand at the historic Troubadour in Los Angeles. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nNep is a Nashville-based singer-songwriter from Texas. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout Liam St. JohnHis music blends Americana\, rock & roll\, and blues influences. St. John first gained recognition for his 2022 viral hit “Dipped in Bleach”\, an autobiographical song about his past cocaine addiction. He has since released two chart-topping albums\, stripped back (2022) and All the Bad Things (2023)\, both recorded in single takes and featuring St. John on vocals and guitar.

SUMMARY:Vienna Boys Choir at Wachholz College Center
DESCRIPTION:The Vienna Boys Choir is coming to Kalispell for a performance at Wachholz College Center on the FVCC Campus at 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm Sunday\, October 18\n\n\n\n\n\nWCC is pleased to welcome VIENNA BOYS CHOIR to the Flathead Valley. \n\n\n\nThe Vienna Boys Choir is one of the world’s most famous and oldest choirs. \n\n\n\nBoys have sung at Vienna’s Imperial Chapel since at least 1296. \n\n\n\nIn 1498\, Holy Roman Emperor Maximilian I established a Court Chapel in Vienna\, specifying that boys be included among the singers – thus laying the foundation for the Choir. \n\n\n\nToday\, the former imperial ensemble is a private\, non-profit organization with a primary and grammar school serving 330 boys and girls ages six to nineteen\, with a curriculum centered on choral music and singing. \n\n\n\nThe Choir’s education\, recognized by UNESCO as cultural heritage\, is open to all\, regardless of origin\, gender\, nationality\, or religion. \n\n\n\nThere are currently 90 active choristers divided into four touring choirs\, all performing as the “Vienna Boys Choir.” \n\n\n\nTogether\, they give nearly 300 concerts each year to almost half a million listeners. \n\n\n\nSince 1924\, the Choir has completed more than 1000 tours to 100 countries\, performing some 29\,000 concerts. \n\n\n\nOn Sundays\, the Choir sings Mass at Vienna’s Imperial Chapel with members of the Vienna Philharmonic and the men’s chorus of the Vienna State Opera. \n\n\n\nThey appear regularly at the Salzburg Festival and at the Vienna Philharmonic’s New Year’s Concert\, and have worked with conductors including Joana Mallwitz\, Zubin Mehta\, Riccardo Muti\, Christian Thielemann\, Simone Young\, and Franz Welser-Möst. \n\n\n\nThe Choir also partners with UNICEF and other charities and supports outreach programs offering free access to music education. \n\n\n\nIn 2023\, the Vienna Boys Choir celebrated its 525th anniversary\, marked by a live album on Deutsche Grammophon\, a 21-CD Decca Classics box set\, and a new history published by Böhlau. \n\n\n\nIn 2024\, the Vienna Boys Choir and Vienna Girls Choir received the European Culture Award. \n\n\n\nErasmus Baumgartner was appointed Artistic Director in 2023.
