It’s about 8 miles to Franklin Bridge and roughly 14 miles to the end of the corridor. This is an out-and-back route\, so feel free to turn around at any point if you’re not up for the full distance. Visitors can kick off the holiday early\, families who need to travel or work on the 5th don’t have to miss out\, and celebrations around Flathead Lake are spread out for a safer\, more enjoyable experience for all. In fact\, it brings more people to town earlier\, giving a welcome boost to local shops\, restaurants\, and lodging. \n\n\n\nThis two-day celebration honors the spirit of Independence Day by building community\, supporting local businesses\, and bringing people together in a meaningful way. \n\n\n\nAll of this is made possible by the Polson Chamber of Commerce and generous donations from local businesses and individuals. We’re grateful for the continued support that helps keep this tradition strong.
