KRUSE at 2:00 pm Saturday\, May 2 in the Cooper Room at the Missoula Public Library. \n\n\n\nFree & Open to All \n\n\n\nDon’t miss the last installment of First Reads\, and our 25/26 Season Finale\, Saturday\, May 2 – Hotdish by Paul W. Kruse. This script is hilarious and heartfelt in all the best ways\, and Paul will be joining us in-person for a Q&A after the reading!  \n\n\n\nPaul W. Kruse has worked with The Rep in the past on other installments of Plays on Tap including Hip Strip Hijinks and BINGO!. As a playwright and media artist from Western Wisconsin\, his work flows from his Catholic roots and ever-evolving experience of family. Paul often writes collaboratively\, drawing from his years of experience as a videographer and documentarian. He is a 2023–2025 Jerome Fellow at the Playwrights’ Center in Minneapolis and a cohort member of Audible’s third Emerging Playwrights Fund. His audio play Once Removed was an official selection at the 2022 Tribeca Festival. Paul’s plays have been produced by Adjusted Realists in Brooklyn\, NY; Quantum Theatre in Pittsburgh\, PA; the Vortex Theater in Austin\, TX; and in high schools around the country. \n\n\n\nPaul has developed work at The Ground Floor at Berkeley Rep\, Yaddo\, the Lewis Center for the Arts at Princeton University\, and Middlebury College. Paul completed his MFA at UT Austin in 2020\, where he was a fellow with the Michener Center for Writers. Luthiers from Bozeman\, Livingston\, Belgrade\, Manhattan\, Boulder\, Missoula\, Potomac\, Alberton and Libby have all been invited to the 2026 Missoula Guitar Show to exhibit their acoustic\, electric\, steel and resonator guitars. \n\n\n\nThe Show gallery will be open at the ZACC from 12:00 pm Noon to 5:30 pm each day leading up to the Jazzoula evening performances. DESCRIPTION:Missoula’s Mountain Line offers free weekend bus rides with hourly service between 8:00 am to 4:00 pm from the Downtown Transfer Center to Marshall Mountain Park May thru October\n\n\n\n\n\nStarting in May\, Mountain Line launched a new season of Missoula’s Marshall Mountain Shuttle\, with hourly trips from the Downtown Transfer Center to Marshall Mountain Park starting at 8:00 am daily. \n\n\n\nMountain Line launched a pilot recreation shuttle service in the fall of 2025 to help connect Missoulians to recreation opportunities in our own backyard at the publicly owned Marshall Mountain Park.We heard from many who wanted more car-free trips to this local gem of a public park – so this year\, we’re ready to take you up there all summer long. \n\n\n\nFree Weekend Service to Marshall Mountain begins May 2 and runs through October 2026!  \n\n\n\nShuttles run hourly 8:00 am to 4:00 pm from the Downtown Transfer Center to Marshall Mountain Park.

It’s a fun little community event that helps kids get on bikes\, and we are excited to support and promote it (and talk more about bringing it to all corners of the Flathead Valley in the future).Kids’ bikes can be dropped off in the upper parking area at Wayfarers State Park (south of Bigfork) between 9:00 am and 12:00 pm Noon on Saturday\, May 3. \n\n\n\nAlso – There will be a bit of truck space for bike collection at FAMB’s Friday “Stoke Fest” at Sacred Waters Brewing Company in Kalispell\, so if you have a kid’s bike you’d like to donate there\, that’s a great spot to bring it!Also – bikes can be dropped off at the Bigfork Chamber of Commerce this week between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm thru Friday\, May 1.
