DESCRIPTION:The 15th Annual Missoula XC Mountain Bike Races happen at Marshall Mountain Park with the Northern Rockies Middle School & High School XC MTB Championships 8:00 am to 4:30 pm Saturday\, June 20; and USA Cycling XC MTB Youth categories racing 9:00 am to 4:00 pm Sunday\, June 21\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Missoula XC 2026 is the Saturday Middle School and High School Northern Rockies Championship. Riders can race by grade level on Saturday. \n\n\n\nMissoula XC 2026 Saturday Course Map at Marshall Mountain Park\n\n\n\nSunday is a USA Cycling-sanctioned XC Age Groups style race.   \n\n\n\nMissoula XC 2026 Sunday Course Map at Marshall Mountain Park\n\n\n\n\nFree team areas for all Montana NICA League Teams\n\n\n\nGrade level racing on Saturday\n\n\n\nMission to Mars\, XC style course\n\n\n\nPODIUMS and medals for all races\n\n\n\n\nNUMBER PICK UP:Optional Early number pickup and pre ride = Friday 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Marshall Mountain Park (Green MTCX Trailer).  Other than that you can pick up your number any time 45 minutes before the start of your event on Saturday or Sunday.2026 Missoula XC Weekend Events Schedule at Marshall Mountain Park:

Rockfalls or other natural events may delay the opening\, as conditions can change quickly. \n\n\n\nFull Length of Going-to-the-Sun Road Open to BicyclistsBicyclists can bike the full length of Going-to-the-Sun Road beginning today\, June 18 and extending through June 21\, before the road opens to vehicle traffic. As we prepare for opening\, bicyclists should watch for administrative traffic beyond the vehicle closure\, especially on Thursday and Friday\, June 18 – 19. \n\n\n\nBicycling Safety Reminders• Always wear a helmet• Maintain safe speed and control• Bicyclists must follow the same rules as motor vehicles• Bring a headlamp for early morning or evening rides• Never leave food unattended• Mount and dismount e‑bikes carefully—battery weight adds 20+ lbs• Only Class 1 pedal‑assist e‑bikes (≤750 watts) are allowed• Carry and know how to use bear spray• Check tire pressure and bring tools for repairs \n\n\n\nParking ExpectationsVisitors should only park in designated parking spaces throughout the park. \n\n\n\nRestrooms AvailabilityVisitor information services and the Glacier National Park Conservancy bookstore will not be available at the Logan Pass Visitor Center until June 22.
