SUMMARY:Two Crows for Comfort at Longstaff House
DESCRIPTION:Roots-folk duo Two Crows for Comfort perform live at Longstaff House in Missoula from 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm Thursday\, July 23\n\n\n\n\n\nHarmony singing is so key to roots-folk music – and Two Crows have nailed that perfectly. \n\n\n\nWhat differentiates them within their genre are uniquely arranged original songs that allow their voices to blend and bend around the stories within their often-poignant lyrics. \n\n\n\nThis is acoustic folk music at its best. \n\n\n\nCory’s light-hearted\, funny\, between-song banter makes the show even better.

Davis previously notched four consecutive No. 1 hits-totaling eight No. 1s on Country radio – off of his Platinum-Certified debut album Home State including the 4x Platinum “Singles You Up\,” and 2x Platinum-selling songs “Take It From Me” and “Slow Dance In A Parking Lot” along with his most recent No.1 singles “I Ain’t Sayin’” and “Bar None” off his newly released highly anticipated album Learn The Hard Way. Born in Texas\, raised in Louisville\, Kentucky and educated in Tulsa\, Oklahoma and… Australia\, Nichols has lived a lot of life in her 23 years and channels her observations and experiences into her songs\, often infusing commentary on everything from society and small-town life to current cultural trends into her lyrics. \n\n\n\nNichols burst onto the scene with the online phenomenon “I Got a New One” and has been building a fan base and online presence of 1M+ with each release with original songs like “Trailer Treasure\,” “Bad Taste” and “Somebody Cooked Here” each of them delivered in a sweet drawl thats both relatable and disarming. Her sparky release\, “Mama” seamlessly blends a broad- minded cheekiness (reminiscent of Kacey Musgrave’s Same Trailer Different Park-era) with a Toby Keith brashness and has accumulated 8 million views online. It’s not just fans who are taking notice\, the astute wordsmith has piqued the interest of the industry landing on a slew of “artist to watch” lists including Amazon Music\, Pandora\, Country Now\, Taste of Country\, Women of Country\, Holler\, Entertainment Focus\, All Country News\, Country Minuteand more. Nichols also captured the attention of Kelly Clarkson who covered “I Got A New One” on her show and the buzz surrounding her performance and Elizabeth’s reaction catapulted the song to the No. 1 song on the Country iTunes chart for multiple weeks. \n\n\n\nShe released her debut EP\, Tough Love in June and has already followed it up with new release including “Sweet Cigarette\,” the gut-punching “Daughter\,” cheeky ditty “Little Birds” and even cheekier “Oh The Things Men Do.” Nichols is continuing to create new music while also hitting the pavement to perform live. Since putting law school on pause in January 2025\, she has performed on several bucket list worthy stages including the legendary Blue Bird Cafe\, The Grand Ole Opry\, CMA Fest\, Stagecoach\, Kentucky Derby and The Kelly Clarkson Show and supported artists like Little Big Town\, Russell Dickerson\, Wyatt Flores and more. The PULSE Records artist is signed to CAA for booking. For more information and to stay up to date\, follow along on Instagram\, TikTok\, Facebook and YouTube.

The UDASH River Shuttle will begin service Thursday\, June 25\, and run through Saturday\, July 26. \n\n\n\nSummer shuttle buses will run Thursdays through Sundays\, departing from Campus Drive near the UM Outdoor Program building between the Campus Recreation Center and Washington-Grizzly Stadium. The River Shuttle stops at Sha-Ron river access point and Milltown State Park. \n\n\n\nThursday and Friday departures are from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm on the hour. Saturday and Sunday departures begin at 12 pm Noon and run until 4:00 pm on each hour. It’s recommended that passengers arrive at the bus stop 15 minutes before departure. \n\n\n\nRiver Shuttle riders also can enjoy free on-campus parking\, courtesy of UM Parking. UDASH staff will distribute parking passes before boarding on Thursdays and Fridays. No parking passes are needed on weekends. \n\n\n\n“Providing student-operated\, zero-fare river shuttles aligns with ASUM Transportation’s mission to provide safe\, sustainable and equitable transportation options to campus and the community\,” said Vickie Rectenwald\, UM director of the Associated Students of UM Transportation. \n\n\n\nPassengers must deflate all floatation devices and stow them under their bus seat or in their lap in an effort to maximize space. Stand-up paddle boards and extra-large equipment are not permitted on the bus. \n\n\n\nRiver recreators age 12 and older also are required to have a valid Montana conservation license\, which is required to access most state lands. Senior and youth licenses cost $4\, resident licenses cost $8 and nonresident licenses cost $10. More information  about the conservation license is available online.   \n\n\n\nRiver Ambassadors will welcome riders to the river and help educate recreators about how to safely and responsibly enjoy the Clark Fork. The Missoula River Ambassador Program is a collaboration between ASUM Transportation\, the Clark Fork Coalition\, the City of Missoula\, Missoula County\, the Missoula Conservation District and Montana Fish\, Wildlife and Parks. \n\n\n\n“We are grateful to all of our partners in the River Ambassador program\, and we are excited for another fun season of river recreation\,” Rectenwald said. \n\n\n\nSince 2021\, UDASH River Shuttles have averaged over 1\,700 trips each season\, Rectenwald said. Shuttle dates have been adjusted to account for earlier weather and river flow conditions\, and staff are predicting an increase in ridership for this summer. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPickup Point for UM UDash Free River Shuttle Service at the Outdoor Program HQ along Campus Drive outside the Fitness and Recreation Center\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nUDash 2026 River Shuttle Pick-Ups and Drop-Off Locations at Sha-Ron and Milltown Clark Fork River Access points

SUMMARY:Alice in Wonderland at Missoula Children's Theatre
DESCRIPTION:Missoula Children’s Theatre presents Alice in Wonderland\, an original adaptation based on Lewis Carroll’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass with Session 1 performances at 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm Thursday\, July 2; and Session 2 performances at 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm Friday\, July 24\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Missoula Children’s Theatre presents Alice in Wonderland\, an original adaptation based on Lewis Carroll’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass. The story begins with Alice and her older sister Margaret reading together. Margaret becomes frustrated as Alice is curious about absolutely everything. Suddenly\, a White Rabbit appears from nowhere. After a quick and nonsensical conversation\, Alice follows the rabbit to a strange and wonderful place. In the course of her adventures\, Alice meets a band of Flowers\, the King and Queen of Hearts\, the Knave and the rest of the suit of Cards\, a giant Caterpillar\, a Fish\, a Frog\, the Duchess\, the Cook\, the Cheshire Cat\, the Gryphon\, the Mock Turtle\, a group of singing Lobsters\, Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum\, the March Hare\, the Mad Hatter\, the Dormouse and Humpty Dumpty. Through it all\, Alice grows “curiouser and curiouser” as to where she is and even who she is. In the end\, the answers she seeks are unimportant. Wonderland is all nonsense\, anyway. As the White Rabbit explains\, “Nonsense is fun!” \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nBased upon Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass by Louis CarrollMusic by David W.
