DESCRIPTION:Five mostly-acoustic singer-songwriter performers will be playing live from the stage at the base of Missoula’s Marshall Mountain Park for a benefit for the non-profit Friends of Marshall Mountain from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm Saturday\, June 28\n\n\n\n\n\nFive mostly-acoustic singer-songwriter performers will be playing live from the stage at the base of Missoula’s Marshall Mountain Park for a benefit for the non-profit Friends of Marshall Mountain from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm Saturday\, June 28.Scheduled Performances: \n\n\n\n3:30 pmMax Fessler – Local Americana\, roots-based folk\, country & rock\, 90’s covers\, mustaches\, and more. \n\n\n\n4:30 pmStonewall Riot – Wyoming singer/songwriter regionally famous for occasional folk disturbances\, original protest tunes\, soaring homespun vocals\, and even a little comedy-tinged alt-rock. \n\n\n\n5:30 pmJay Alm – Acoustic Alt-rock swaddled in a psych-folk blanket. His oddball\, neo-pagan songs find poetic space between lo-fi garage rock and nettled\, singer-songwriter scratch-folk. \n\n\n\n6:30 pm Boston McDonald – Montana-grown songwriter Boston McDonald sings with a rare versatility\, often trading hats between resident rockstar\, earnest indie-pop troubadour and subtle-yet-slick alt-folk string-slinger. Expect a nexus of heartfelt and swaggering and honest\, original tunes. \n\n\n\n7:30 pm Milk Made – a soulful indie / R&B band comprised of five musicians: Efe Osemwengie on drums\, Silas Phillips on Bass\, Clara Phillips on Harp\, Tom Frederick on guitar and Liv Swant-Johnson on vocals. “We’ve got some real grooves for y’all- excited to perform for the fine folks up at Marshall Mountain.” \n\n\n\nNo camping…Free…but all donations go towards Friends of Marshall Mountain’s efforts to trail build and maintain this wonderful community recreation spot!
