SUMMARY:MCT Youth Series performance of "Stellaluna" at Missoula Children's Theatre
DESCRIPTION:MCT presents performances of the celebrated children’s book Stellaluna as a part of their Youth Series at Missoula Children’s Theatre at 12:00 pm Noon and 2:00 pm on Saturday\, September 19\n\n\n\n\n\nStellaluna\, the celebrated children’s book\, is coming alive on the MCT stage with music\, puppets\, tap dancing\, and so much more!  \n\n\n\nStellaluna tells the story of a baby fruit bat who gets separated from her mother and is adopted by a family of birds.  \n\n\n\nStellaluna finds that she is quite different from her feathered siblings; she sleeps upside down\, she doesn’t care much for eating insects\, and she flies at night.  \n\n\n\nNo matter! Pip\, Flitter\, and Flap love and take care of Stellaluna\, even though she is so different.  \n\n\n\nAnd she has a thing or two to teach them\, too! \n\n\n\nThe bat and bird siblings turn their worlds upside down (literally) and find a new perspective.  \n\n\n\nThis short musical\, based on the 1993 book that was listed by the National Education Association in the 100 Best Children’s Books of All Time\, emphasizes the importance of embracing our differences and opening our hearts to new friends.  \n\n\n\nCome watch Stellaluna take wing at the Missoula Children’s Theatre!
