DESCRIPTION:Fire off your Independence Day sparks at the Firecracker RUN 406 / 4.06 mile fun run / walk at the Depot Park in Whitefish from 8:00 am to 9:30 am (before the Whitefish Arts Festival) Saturday\, July 4\n\n\n\n\n\nJoin us for Whitefish’s newest race\, the Firecracker RUN 406.   \n\n\n\nThe event is produced by the event management group that stages the Whitefish Marathon so if you have run Whitefish\, or have read of the marathon’s reviews\, you know what kind of event to expect. \n\n\n\nThe 4.06 mile run/walk is on Saturday\, July 4 starting and finishing on the west side of Depot Park by the O’Shaughnessy Center.   \n\n\n\nStick around to enjoy the Whitefish Arts Festival which opens at 10:00 am. \n\n\n\nJeremiah Johnson Brewing and Tamarack mocktails will be served in the post-race finish area.   \n\n\n\nBe festive and wear your best red\, white and blue running gear.   \n\n\n\nPodium and Age Group Awards presented immediately after the event.  \n\n\n\nAll finishers receive the official event shirt and medal! \n\n\n\nFriday Packet Pickup is from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm inside Depot Park at the Whitefish Arts Festival tent.  \n\n\n\nLook for the RUN 406 feather flags. \n\n\n\nStart the tradition of running or walking on the July 4th Weekend in downtown Whitefish.
