SUMMARY:Langhorne Slim - The Dreamin' Kind Tour with Laney Jones and The Spirits at The Top Hat
DESCRIPTION:Logjam Presents welcomes Langhorne Slim for a live concert performance on The Dreamin’ Time Tour with Laney Jones and The Spirits opening at the Top Hat in Downtown Missoula at 8:00 pm Tuesday\, April 28\n\n\n\n\n\nDoors @ 7:00 pm \n\n\n\nLogjam Presents welcomes Langhorne Slim for a live concert performance on The Dreamin’ Time Tour with Laney Jones and The Spirits opening at the Top Hat in Downtown Missoula at 8:00 pm Tuesday\, April 28. \n\n\n\nTickets on sale at Logjam Presents Box Offices and online while supplies last. All tickets are general admission standing room only with limited bench seating. All ages are welcome. \n\n\n\nTake a look at these tips to best prepare yourself for a smooth ticket buying experience. \n\n\n\nAdditional ticketing and venue information can be found here. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout Langhorne SlimFor more than two decades\, Langhorne Slim has been a fearless voice in modern Americana\, known for his raw emotion and rule-breaking spirit. On his ninth album\, The Dreamin’ Kind\, the Nashville-based songwriter plugs in his electric guitar and dives headfirst into big-hearted\, 1970s-style rock & roll. \n\n\n\nProduced by Greta Van Fleet’s Sam F. Kiszka\, the record pairs power chords and soaring hooks with the vulnerable storytelling that’s long defined Slim’s work. “It felt like I was blowing some old shit up so I could plant some new flowers\,” he says. “I love folk music\, but rock & roll tickles the same part of my soul. I wanted to explore that.” \n\n\n\nThe collaboration began after Slim opened for Greta Van Fleet\, leading to loose\, inspired sessions with Kiszka and drummer Danny Wagner. Together they built songs that move from the propulsive rush of “Rock N Roll” and the swagger of “Haunted Man” to the tender sweep of “Dream Come True” and “Stealin’ Time.” \n\n\n\nRecorded over a year in Nashville\, The Dreamin’ Kind bridges Slim’s rootsy past with a louder\, more expansive present. It’s a record of freedom and discovery\, equally at home\, in rock clubs\, and around campfires — proof that Langhorne Slim\, ever the dreamer\, still finds new ground to break with every song. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout Laney Jones and The SpiritsLaney Jones grew up in the back swamps of Central Florida surrounded by orange groves\, kangaroos\, and endless quiet — the kind that lets a person dream in Technicolor. Today\, she channels that same sense of wonder and honesty into her Nashville-based band\, Laney Jones and the Spirits. Blending vintage rock with blaring riffs\, indie soul\, and cosmic Americana. \n\n\n\nTheir self-titled debut album captures the spirit of a band in full bloom – a kaleidoscope of sound and feeling that invites listeners to slow down\, reflect\, and reconnect.

SUMMARY:Hot Damn Scandal at Longstaff House
DESCRIPTION:Hot Damn Scandal brings their “Cabaret Americana” to Missoula’s Longstaff House Sunday 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm Wednesday\, April 29\n\n\n\n\n\nHot Damn Scandal finds its songs under park benches and in forgotten alleyways\, on the corner of Tom Waits and Gershwin. The resulting outlaw ballads\, dirty jazz\, circus freakouts\, shanty-rags\, string band funk\, lonesome heart-breakers\, and whiskey bottle love songs blend together in what may be best described as ‘Cabaret Americana’: theatrical\, orchestral\, lyrical\, and endlessly danceable. \n\n\n\nThe group began as a nebula of traveling musicians formed around the songs of founder Pete Irving over 15 years ago. Firmly rooted in Bellingham\, WA since 2016\, they have become a staple in the ever-evolving NW music scene. \n\n\n\nWith influences ranging from Roma Swing to Motown\, from Klezmer to Country\, they’ll be in your ears and on your mind for good after you’ve seen them once.

DESCRIPTION:Stop in at Missoula Art Museum for First Friday on May 1 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm for an unforgettable evening celebrating the opening of Acts of Love\, Refusal\, and Resistance – a powerful new exhibit featuring the work of Sara Siestreem with music by Dylan Running Crane\n\n\n\n\n\nStop in at Missoula Art Museum for First Friday on May 1 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm for an unforgettable evening celebrating the opening of Acts of Love\, Refusal\, and Resistance – a powerful new exhibition featuring the work of Sara Siestreem (Hanis Coos of the Confederated Tribes of Coos\, Lower Umpqua\, and Siuslaw Indians). Sara will be in attendance for an artist talk at 5:30 pm\, with music by Dylan Running Crane. \n\n\n\nMAM first presented Siestreem’s work in 2013\, and in the years since her artistic growth has been remarkable. Drawing on traditional basket weaving practices\, she weaves ancestral pattern motifs into bold geometric abstractions — proud and powerful expressions of Indigenous sovereignty. A recipient of the Hallie Ford Fellowship (2025) and elected 2025 National Academician by the National Academy of Design\, Siestreem is an artist in full stride\, and MAM is honored to welcome her back. \n\n\n\nSpecial thanks to the Elizabeth Leach Gallery for support in mounting this exhibition. \n\n\n\nThank you as well to Elizabeth Leach\, Janet Mohle-Boetani\, and Greg and Cathy Tibbles for the publication support\, as well as The Ford Family Foundation Visual Arts Program for exhibition support.

Sophie hopes for a future with her dad (“Thank You for The Music”)\, and the guests on the island\, well……they sing\, of course (“Dancing Queen”). This extremely popular musical contains adult themes and situations that may not be suitable for young children. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nMusic and Lyrics by BENNY ANDERSSON and BJÖRN ULVAEUS • And some songs with STIG ANDERSON• Book by CATHERINE JOHNSON • Originally Conceived by JUDY CRAYMERMAMMA MIA! was originally produced in London by Judy Craymer\, Richard East and Björn Ulvaeus for Littlestar in association with Universal.
