Let’s stay under the trees at Crazy Canyon this week. Lot’s of options for longer or shorter hikes and bike rides.Map of Ride/HikesTrailhead Location \n\n\n\nWe’ve been getting more hikers each week\, so if you don’t feel like riding\, plan to hike! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nItems to bring:\n\n\n\n\nwater                    * snacks       \n\n\n\nlayers of clothing  * bear spray  \n\n\n\nspare tube & change kit\n\n\n\n\nHere are some good rules of thumb:* Try to get the group started soon after 6:00 pm* Do intros\, ask if we have any new folks and get a head count* Break into groups if needed & find someone to coordinate each group* You don’t have to be the fastest in the group to lead but just make sure we don’t leave someone behind* Have fun!———————————————————— \n\n\n\nNote: Friendly and well-behaved dogs are welcome to join us on hikes. If your pup can be aggressive or unpredictable around other dogs/people\, please leave them at home. If your dog isn’t under voice control\, please plan to leash them up for your hike. Also\, make sure you check if the area is open to dogs. There are several closures that start Dec 1 and some are yearlong. It’s also good to know the trail-specific leash protocol.

DESCRIPTION:Meet up with TNR at 6:00 pm at the main Rattlesnake Canyon Trailhead parking lot in Missoula for this week’s Thursday Night MTB Ride with a ride on Fenceline\, and after\, a group cookout celebrating Aaron’s final TNR before his move\n\n\n\n\n\nRattlesnake – Fenceline Ride & Sendoff CookoutThis Thursday evening we’ll meet at 6:00 pm in the Rattlesnake\, ride Fenceline\, then gather in the parking lot for a cookout as we celebrate Aaron’s final TNR ride before his move to Washington.Parking Lot CookoutWe will ride for about 1.5 – 2 hours and then have a cookout with Aaron in the main Rattlesnake Trailhead Parking lot beginning at about 7:30 pm. We can adjust the route based on who wants to ride. We will have a grill to cook on\, as well as paper plates\, napkins\, utensils and such. Hang out after the race for announcement of race results and to enjoy some après-race beverages with your bike friends! \n\n\n\nIf XC racing isn’t quite your style (or your kid’s style\, or your dad’s style)\, WMR also hosts their own separate $10 Downhill series on Thursdays. FAMB also always needs a little volunteer help each race night: the registration link also has volunteer sign-ups!
