SUMMARY:Mount Sentinel Hike / MTB Ride with Montana Dirt Girls
DESCRIPTION:Hike or mountain bike up Missoula’s MoZ Trail from the Maurice Avenue trailhead with Montana Dirt Girls at 6:00 pm Tuesday\, September 22\n\n\n\n\n\nMount Sentinel MoZ Trail Hike / Ride \n\n\n\nWe haven’t been up the MoZ trail this year so let’s do it\, now that its a bit cooler.We’ll all gather at the Maurice Avenue Trailhead and at 6:00 pm\, head up the MoZ trail on the south side of Mount Sentinel. Hikers can either head to the top of Sentinel\, or hike along the countour trail up the Hidden Treasure Route. Mountain bikers will take the Hidden Treasure route to the Crooked Trail to the Crazy Canyon road\, and then back down. If you are interested in extending it a bit\, make sure you have a light! Coming down the MoZ trail at sunset is amazing! \n\n\n\nSunset is at 7:33 pm\, twilight is at 8:03 pm. NO – you won’t get ticketed or towed if you park in a leased spot evenings and weekends. \n\n\n\nParking throughout Downtown is FREE after 5:00 pm\, or after 6:00 pm in the garages\, and on weekends \n\n\n\nImportant to note: the above parking guidelines are relevant to spaces and lots managed by the Missoula Parking Commission only. DESCRIPTION:Missoula’s Mountain Line offers free weekend bus rides with hourly service between 8:00 am to 4:00 pm from the Downtown Transfer Center to Marshall Mountain Park from May 23 thru October\n\n\n\n\n\nStarting in May\, Mountain Line will launch a new season of Missoula’s Marshall Mountain Shuttle\, with hourly trips from the Downtown Transfer Center to Marshall Mountain Park starting at 8:00 am daily. \n\n\n\nMountain Line launched a pilot recreation shuttle service in the fall of 2025 to help connect Missoulians to recreation opportunities in our own backyard at the publicly owned Marshall Mountain Park.We heard from many who wanted more car-free trips to this local gem of a public park – so this year\, we’re ready to take you up there all summer long. \n\n\n\nFree Weekend Service to Marshall Mountain begins May 23 and runs through October 2026! \n\n\n\nShuttles run hourly 8:00 am to 4:00 pm from the Downtown Transfer Center to Marshall Mountain Park.Last departure from Marshall Mountain is at 4:30 pm \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFrom 8:00 am to 4:00 pm on weekends\, you can catch a lift up to Marshall Mountain Park every hour from the Mountain Line Downtown Transfer Center in Missoula. The shuttle includes a 16-spot bike trailer and room for up to 16 passengers per trip.
