Throughout the evening\, the songwriters will share the inspiration\, humor\, and personal stories behind the music\, offering audiences a rare glimpse into the creative process that turns ideas into timeless songs. \n\n\n\nWynn Varble  \n\n\n\nWynn came to love country music at a very young age when he discovered his father’s collection of classic country vinyl records. He even traded his big brother’s “Grand Funk Railroad” for a copy of Jimmy Dean’s “Big Bad John”\, and still has a scar to prove it! Around the age of 14\, a neighbor showed Wynn a few chords on an old guitar. Before long\, Wynn was playing on his own and writing his own songs. \n\n\n\nAfter years of performing in honkytonks & bars\, Wynn decided to make the move to Nashville. His first radio single was “Fit To Be Tied Down” by Sammy Kershaw. Since then Wynn has had many hits including three number ones…all three were nominated for “Song Of The Year” by the CMA or ACM and sometimes both. Wynn’s three number one songs are “Have You Forgotten” by Darryl Worley\, “Waitin’ On A Woman” by Brad Paisley\, and “I’m A Little More Country Than That” by Easton Corbin. In addition to his number ones\, Wynn has had songs recorded by artists such as Garth Brooks\, Cody Johnson\, Jon Pardi\, Trace Adkins\, Mark Chesnutt\, Willie Nelson\, Kellie Pickler\, Lee Ann Womack\, and many others. \n\n\n\nIn 2009\, Wynn received the Nashville Songwriters Association’s Songwriter of the Year Award. He made his Grand Ole Opry Debut in 2011. Additionally\, Wynn has appeared on several tv shows and was featured weekly on the Joey & Rory Show for several years. Wynn writes songs nearly every day and tours extensively. He is currently signed with BMG Music Publishing. \n\n\n\nBrice Long \n\n\n\nBrice has enjoyed a successful 25+ year music career. As a songwriter he has had over 175 of his songs cut with artists such as Garth Brooks\, George Strait\, Chris Stapleton\, Hank Williams Jr\, Randy Houser\, Josh Turner\, Reba McEntire\, Gary Allan\, Cody Johnson\, Chris Young\, Jon Pardi\, Lainey Wilson\, Casey James\, Randy Travis\, John Michael Montgomery\, Porter Wagoner and many more.   \n\n\n\nBrice’s songwriting hits include the #1 singles “Heartache On The Dance Floor” by Jon Pardi and “Nothing On But The Radio” by Gary Allan. DESCRIPTION:Pam Tillis and her trio band perform with Archertown opening live at O’Shaughnessy Cultural Arts Center in Whitefish at 7:00 pm Thursday\, June 18\n\n\n\n\n\nJoin us for a legendary night with Pam Tillis and her trio band in the intimate setting of the O’Shaughnessy Center\, opened by local gem Archertown! \n\n\n\nAbout Pam Tillis: \n\n\n\nShe’s the daughter of Country Music legend Mel Tillis and multi-media artist Doris Tillis.  \n\n\n\nA singer/songwriter whose compositions have been covered in Country\, R&B\, Bluegrass and Rock.  \n\n\n\nAn actor with a long list of film\, TV and stage credits.  \n\n\n\nPam Tillis sidestepped any notions of nepotism and other “isms” that women in show business often face and carved out her own unique space as an entertainer. \n\n\n\nTillis’ 1991 debut country album\, Put Yourself In My Place\, went gold and yielded two No. 1 and two Top 5 singles.  \n\n\n\nHer next three albums – Homeward Looking Angel\, Sweetheart’s Dance and Greatest Hits\, were all certified platinum.  \n\n\n\nShe achieved six No. 1 songs during the ‘90s Country explosion\, including “Shake the Sugar Tree\,” “Mi Vida Loca\,” “When You Walk In The Room\,” “In Between Dances\,” “Don’t Tell Me What To Do\,” and her signature song\, “Maybe It Was Memphis.” \n\n\n\n“It’s a hard thing to put your finger on\,” she says\, describing the enduring appeal of “Memphis.”  \n\n\n\n“It’s a great melody and a cinematic lyric. It’s romantic\, but it rocks. And it’s a great vocal vehicle.”  \n\n\n\nNot only did Country fans agree\, so have several aspiring artists.  \n\n\n\nContestants on both American Idol and The Voice have used the song to showcase their talents. \n\n\n\n“In many ways this part of my career is more fun because it feels like the pressure’s off\,” says the CMA Female Vocalist Winner.  \n\n\n\n“I feel much more relaxed and I can just enjoy the journey a little bit more.” \n\n\n\nTillis is currently finding a lot of satisfaction mentoring young performers and artists\, including those in her all-female acoustic trio\, The Rose Rustlers (Haley Sullivan and Carson McKee).  \n\n\n\n“I love mentoring\,” she says. “I find myself working with so many Millennial musicians now. They’re accomplished players; none of them need help in the talent department.
