He studied Civil Engineering at Montana Tech — and was good at it — but the songs kept coming\, and eventually the songs won. \n\n\n\nTanner spent years building his craft the honest way: playing bars\, rodeos\, and dance halls across Big Sky Country before forming the Tanner Laws Band in 2024. The lineup reads like a strange and perfect accident — jazz majors from the University of Montana handling drums and bass\, a software engineer pulling double duty on electric guitar and pedal steel\, a killer fiddle player holding the high lonesome end\, and a former engineer up front with a voice built for the wide open spaces he writes about. In their first year together\, they were named Missoula’s Best New Band. \n\n\n\nThe sound they’ve landed on is rooted in country and folk storytelling — influenced by Alan Jackson\, Keith Whitley\, and the Turnpike Troubadours. These are songs about hunting and fishing\, about losing and learning\, about the specific kind of pride that comes from a place most people only drive through. There’s fiddle and pedal steel up front\, a rhythm section that can swing a dance floor\, and lyrics that sound like they were earned rather than written. \n\n\n\nThe band hit the road immediately and hasn’t slowed down — opening for Clint Black\, Colby Acuff\, Gary Allan\, Rodney Atkins\, Corey Kent\, Braxton Keith\, Dustin Lynch\, Sam Barber\, and others\, while racking up Northwest CMA awards for Songwriter of the Year\, Male Vocalist of the Year\, and Favorite Local Solo Artist. They’ve played the Miles City Bucking Horse Sale\, the Calgary Stampede\, countless rodeos and county fairs\, and listening rooms from Montana to Atlanta. \n\n\n\nTanner Laws isn’t waiting on Nashville to discover him. Their captivating shows are everchanging and will leave you dancing and wondering what they could possibly do next. \n\n\n\nFounded in 2021\, North Fork Crossing was formed out of a rekindled friendship formed at Montana Fiddle Camp. It has since grown into powerful five piece band. The quintet — Cade Slayden (guitar)\, Ryan Kelly (mandolin)\, Rabi Phelan (upright bass)\, Silas Rea (fiddle)\, and Matt Hickey (banjo) — are drawn to having Bluegrass reach a new generation\, priding themselves on their unique sound as the evolution of string band music. They have quickly made their presence known around the West\, most notably in the beautiful Gallatin Valley where they are based. \n\n\n\nNorth Fork Crossing has recently released their debut\, self-titled album. North Fork Crossing (2024) explores the Bozeman band’s origins\, consisting of songs played live since their inception. His songs are direct\, honest and rooted in stories of life\, family\, heartbreak and the road. \n\n\n\nEmerson is touring in support of his latest album\, Blue Stars\, released in 2026. The album continues his tradition of deeply personal songwriting while drawing from the country\, folk and western sounds that have shaped his career. His newest and fourth full-length album\, Blue Stars\, with longtime label La Honda Records\, visits all of the influences and moods of his previous releases. \n\n\n\nAfter his first album\, Fried Chicken & Evil Women\, Emerson built a reputation for live music\, finding his grass roots audience night after night. The loyalty among his audience can be attributed to his songwriting\, and the innate gift of experienced lyrics. His self-titled 2021 release\, as well as The Golden Crystal Kingdom in 2023\, further cemented that foundation\, drawing praise from the producers he worked with on each of those records\, Rodney Crowell\, and Shooter Jennings\, respectively. \n\n\n\nWith his fourth album\, Blue Stars\, Vincent brings together the distinct sound from all three of his previous releases. Raised by his grandparents after the death of his mother at age three\, he took on the form of an “Old Soul.” This is evident in his musical heroes\, which include Elvis Presley\, Roger Miller\, Hank Williams\, Bob Dylan\, and many more. After attending South Dakota State University\, where he played football\, he decided his true passion was writing and singing. A true-to-life cowpoke with real-life experiences in the western world has provided him with plenty of material to write. He’s traveled all across the country playing in small bars\, which he would describe as his favorite places to play. Now in his thirties\, Burchfield raises a small family in the North Georgia mountains and continues to find inspiration in the rivers and ridges of Southern Appalachia. \n\n\n\nHis latest album ‘Me & My Religion’ was produced with his touring band\, The Scoundrels. It is the first collaboration for the group after years of paying dues to the highway. Colin Agnew (drums)\, Trygve Myers (bass)\, and Ryan Plumley (guitar) accompanied Burchfield to Muscle Shoals\, Alabama along with Nashville producer\, Rachael Moore\, to record the album of 7 days. \n\n\n\nThis 10 track album is almost equal parts Americana\, psychedelia\, indie folk\, and Southern rock.
