SUMMARY:MCT Community Series: The Hunchback of Notre Dame at Missoula Children's Theatre
DESCRIPTION:MCT Community Series: The Hunchback of Notre Dame at Missoula Children’s Theatre performances from Friday\, October 10 thru Sunday\, October19\n\n\n\n\n\nFrom Victor Hugo’s 1830s gothic novel\, black & white films of the 1930s and the animated Disney film of 1996 comes a tragic\, yet hopeful story of Quasimodo. Banished to live as the bell ringer in the Notre Dame tower in Paris because of his physical deformities\, he lives as an outcast. One day he ventures outside\, declaring “If I picked a day to fly\, this would be it!” but is ridiculed by everyone except the lovely Esmerelda\, who pleads for mercy towards Quasimodo (“God Help the Outcasts”). The Academy Award-nominated score by Alan Menken and Stephen Schwartz\, supported by the hauntingly rich voices of Missoula-area choirs\, will bring this powerful story to life. Quasimodo’s struggle for acceptance and love may find him to be an unlikely hero. Disney is gifted at showing the darker side of humanity mixed with compassion and hope in this unforgettable musical.Music by ALAN MENKEN • Lyrics by STEPHEN SCHWARTZ • Book by PETER PARNELLBased on the Victor Hugo novel and songs from the Disney filmOriginally Developed by Disney Theatrical Productions \n\n\n\nTHE HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI). SUMMARY:MCT Premiere Night: The Hunchback of Notre Dame at Missoula Children's Theatre
DESCRIPTION:MCT Premiere Night Fundraiser: The Hunchback of Notre Dame at Missoula Children’s Theatre 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm Thursday\, October 9\n\n\n\n\n\nJoin us at the Missoula Children’s Theatre for the premiere of “The Hunchback of Notre Dame”! This signature fundraiser features a catered reception\, an open bar\, dessert\, and your ticket to the first performance of this production. Tickets are $125 each and can be purchased by contacting the MCT Box Office at 406-729-7529. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFrom Victor Hugo’s 1830s gothic novel\, black & white films of the 1930s and the animated Disney film of 1996 comes a tragic\, yet hopeful story of Quasimodo. All authorized performance materials are also supplied by MTI. www.mtishows.comRated PG-13 – Parental Guidance Recommended \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n	Related

SUMMARY:The Emperor's New Clothes at Missoula Children's Theatre
DESCRIPTION:See what happens with The Emperor’s New Clothes at Missoula Children’s Theatre with performances at 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm on Friday\, July 18\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n“Dress for success” is good advice that the Emperor takes whole-heartedly\, wanting to impress his new friends. To help their beloved Emporer find the way back to his heart\, his true friends create an elaborate “birthday suit” for him to wear for his birthday parade celebration. The Emperor quickly and humbly learns that\, sometimes\, “less is more”! \n\n\n\nAdapted by Jim Caron and Matt Loehrke. Music and Lyrics by Jim Caron\, Michael McGill\, Gregory Boris and Amy Ellis. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRated G – General Audiences \n\n\n\nRun Time is approximately 1 hour. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n	Related
