DESCRIPTION:All ages and abilities are invited to sign up for the 54th annual YMCA Riverbank Run with 1 Mile\, 5K\, 10K distances available in Downtown Missoula starting at 9:00 am Saturday\, April 25\n\n\n\n\n\nSince 1972\, the YMCA Riverbank Run has been a favorite springtime tradition for Missoulians! And with four race options to choose from\, there’s something for everyone. \n\n\n\nThe Riverbank Run is a family-friendly event that is open to all ages and abilities. Choose from the 1 Mile\, 5K\, 10K\, or run all three events in our signature event\, the Trifecta (10.321 miles). Strollers and wheelchairs welcome! No pets\, please. \n\n\n\nThe 54th Annual YMCA Riverbank Run is April 25\, 2026! Join us in downtown Missoula on race day or complete your virtual race any time on or before race day by running our course or equal distance of your choosing. \n\n\n\nAll races start in the heart of downtown Missoula at Higgins and Broadway and finish on the river trail near the Boone and Crockett Club. \n\n\n\nKids 12 and under: Registration for 10K\, 5K\, and 1 mile is just $15\, including race shirt. \n\n\n\nThe YMCA Riverbank Run is a fundraiser for the Missoula Family YMCA. All proceeds stay local and support the Y’s financial assistance program. No refunds or deferrals are issued for this race. Racers unable to compete in their original race may switch to a different distance\, switch to virtual\, or transfer their registration to someone else.  \n\n\n\nRace Start Times:All races start at Higgins & Broadway.1 Mile Fun Run: 11:45 am10K & Trifecta 10K: 9:00 amDennis T. Bender 5K & Trifecta 5K: 10:30 amTrifecta Mile: 11:30 amBib\, Shirt\, & Packet Pickup:As a reminder… \n\n\n\n10K\, 5K\, and 1 Mile racers will receive your bib and your race t-shirt at packet pick up prior to race day.  \n\n\n\nIn-person Trifecta racers will receive commemorative long sleeve shirt at the finish line after the completion of your race. \n\n\n\nVirtual Trifecta racers will receive commemorative long sleeve shirt at packet pick up prior to race day. \n\n\n\nReminders: \n\n\n\n\nParticipants are strongly encouraged to collect packets prior to race day.\n\n\n\nGrade School Challenge participants have the option to collect their packets at their schools. Please note: If you wish to pick your student’s packet up at their elementary school\, you MUST note this at time of registration.\n\n\n\n\nIn-Person Event Details: \n\n\n\nStrollers and wheelchairs welcome. No pets\, please. \n\n\n\nAll races start at Higgins & Broadway\, and end along the Kim Williams Trail across from Caras Park. \n\n\n\n2\,500+ racers are expected on race day. We recommend carpooling. \n\n\n\nTrifecta racers may collect their long-sleeve event shirts after completing all three races. Shirts are available at the finish line. \n\n\n\nVirtual racers may pick their shirts up during packet pickup or at the YMCA post-race.  \n\n\n\nPrizes will be available for pickup at the YMCA post-race.  \n\n\n\nPort-a-potties are located at the start and finish lines.Prizes \n\n\n\nTop finishers will be contacted when prizes are available for pickup at the YMCA. \n\n\n\nPrizes are awarded to the top three male and top three female finishers in the 1 Mile\, 5K\, 10K\, and Trifecta races. Prizes are also awarded to the top male and top female finishers in each age group.
