The Winter Wildlands Alliance Backcountry Film Festival is back for its 16th year, but it looks a little different this winter.
Instead of a night out at the silver screen, the outdoors film festival is coming to you – allowing viewers to stream films from the comfort of their own home.
The film lineup is packed full of stellar films this year, featuring athletic pursuits in the mountains, gorgeous cinematography, stories of how the snowsports community is adapting to a changing environment, and more.
As in previous years, a portion of proceeds from the screening will benefit our local chapters.
Spanning the entire state, our chapters are the heart of their communities and provide opportunities for volunteers, members, and outdoor enthusiasts to come together for wildlands education and advocacy. Use this link to purchase your ticket and a portion of proceeds will directly support MWA’s chapter initiatives and efforts.
Tickets are $10 per individual or $20 per household/group. Instructions on how to stream the films will be sent to the email you register with.

Celebrate the success of our recent AED use through this 3 v 3, half-ice mini tournament, open to Glacier Hockey League players of all abilities. $40 registration fee includes three 30-minute games, dinner from Notorious P.I.G. and optional CPR/AED training!
The tournament features two divisions (Under 40 and Over 40) of four teams each, and each team has a maximum of six players. Players register individually and will be assigned to a team by Glacier Hockey League staff. You may request one player you would like to be paired with.

Join Rocky Mountain Ballet Theatre on ZACC’s Social Distance Sessions for a Chinese New Year Celebration at home! An evening of Chinese culture to formally send off 2020 and welcome the new year of the Ox, and regain energy and luck in 2021. The celebration features music and dance from throughout China as well as other joyful performances from across the world.
Rocky Mountain Ballet Theatre presents a Chinese New Year Celebration is the twenty-second performance in our series — ‘Social Distance Sessions’ — a live-stream production partnership between the ZACC and Missoula’s Community Media Resource (MCAT). Shows will be streamed to the ZACC’s Facebook and YouTube, and to MCAT’s cable channel and Local Live website. The Fun Run is a poker style snowmobile run that you get stamps at each check point. We look for high and low hand at the end of the run. We also have silent auction, raffle items, as well as 50/50 and many other fun and exciting things to do. The route is well marked with TONS of off trail playing along the way. This is our BIGGEST fund raiser for the club so please let us know if you have a donation for the raffle or auction. Grab friends, family or even a bunch of strangers and come get some fresh air and take a chance at winning! Remember ladies get one free hand with the purchase of a hand.
