SUMMARY:Umphrey's McGee "Sky's the Limit 2026" Tour at The Wilma
DESCRIPTION:Logjam Presents welcomes Umphrey’s McGee for a live concert performance at The Wilma in Downtown Missoula at 8:00 pm Friday\, March 27\n\n\n\n\n\nDoors @ 7:00 pm \n\n\n\nLogjam Presents welcomes Umphrey’s McGee for a live concert performance at The Wilma in Downtown Missoula at 8:00 pm Friday\, March 27. \n\n\n\nTickets on sale at Logjam Presents Box Offices and online while supplies last. All tickets are general admission standing room only. All ages are welcome. \n\n\n\nTake a look at these tips to best prepare yourself for a smooth ticket buying experience. \n\n\n\nAdditional ticketing and venue information can be found here. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout Umphrey’s McGeeChicago’s eclectic rock band Umphrey’s McGee has been keeping fans on their toes for nearly 28 years now. Though often pigeonholed into “jam band” circles\, Umphrey’s doesn’t fit that traditional mold\, and their fans don’t either. Is it prog rock? Song-forward\, Beatles-esque arrangements? Be careful\, they might hit you with some metal riffs mid-set\, too. Pushing 3\,000 live gigs and 300 million+ tracks streamed\, you-had-to-be-there moments include the band’s performance at the first-ever Bonnaroo and selling more CDs (remember those?) than any other act on the bill. \n\n\n\nA leader in the live music world\, Umphrey’s McGee became the first group to launch its own single-artist streaming service with UMLive.net\, which houses recordings of every show since 2005. The service has since grown and now lives on through Nugs.net\, used by the likes of Pearl Jam\, Bruce Springsteen\, and more. \n\n\n\nBeyond intimate backstage encounters and ski trips with their most diehard fans\, Umphrey’s McGee instituted the groundbreaking “Headphones & Snowcones” program\, granting fans access to professional headphones and a soundboard-quality mix to listen wirelessly at shows. At their UMBowl\, they empowered the audience to vote on the setlist in real-time and choose favorite improv themes via text message. In 2017\, they stepped into another realm altogether by integrating themselves into VR platforms and 360 video. All of the above has earned the band status as kings of the live music scene\, with standing yearly engagements at iconic venues\, their own events in Morocco (Morockshow)\, Iceland (Rockjavick) and Dominican Republic and Mexico (Holidaze)\, and co-hosting Chillicothe\, IL’s long-running Summer Camp festival. \n\n\n\nIn April 2025\, Umphrey’s led their faithful fans on another bucket list musical adventure: Morockshow\, a three-night event in Marrakech\, Morocco. This marked yet another signature international destination for the band’s one-of-a-kind live experiences. \n\n\n\nFollowing their 2022 full-length Asking For A Friend\, which showcased more evolved songwriting and thoughtful arranging\, the band released the Out of Focus EP in July 2025 followed by their full length Blueprints album in September 2025. The new material draws from deep fan engagement\, with compositions born from live “Raw Stewage” segments voted on by the UM faithful. These songs were recorded live during their exclusive Top Note Sessions at Chicago’s Metro\, fusing the raw energy of improvisation with studio-quality fidelity. \n\n\n\nAs Umphrey’s McGee steps into their next chapter\, they remain a band in constant evolution—restless\, fearless\, and deeply connected to their audience. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n	Related

SUMMARY:ZOSO - The Ultimate Led Zeppelin Experience at The Wilma
DESCRIPTION:Logjam Presents welcomes Zoso – The Ultimate Led Zeppelin Experience for a live concert performance at The Wilma in Downtown Missoula at 8:00 pm Saturday\, March 21\n\n\n\n\n\nLogjam Presents welcomes Zoso – The Ultimate Led Zeppelin Experience for a live concert performance at The Wilma in Downtown Missoula at 8:00 pm Saturday\, March 21. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout ZOSOCelebrating their 30th anniversary in 2025\, Zoso has become one of the most iconic and respected Led Zeppelin tribute experiences in the world\, having played over 4\,800 shows across the globe. Known for their unparalleled dedication to faithfully recreating the legendary band’s live performances\, Zoso has earned accolades from both critics and fans alike. \n\n\n\nZoso’s live performances focus on the raw energy and intricate musicality of Led Zeppelin’s best-known hits and deeper tracks\, with a particular emphasis on recreating their live show experience. The band’s commitment to authenticity has earned them praise from major outlets\, with the LA Times calling them “head and shoulders above all other Led Zeppelin tributes\,” and the St. Petersburg Times describing them as “the most exacting of all the Led Zeppelin tributes.” \n\n\n\nThe band was founded in 1995 by Matt Jernigan and Adam Sandling\, both of whom are renowned for their exceptional musicianship and passion for Led Zeppelin’s music. Jernigan\, who takes on the colossal role of Robert Plant\, has a commanding stage presence that rivals the icon himself. Sandling\, who brings John Paul Jones to life\, masterfully plays bass\, keyboards\, and mandolin\, replicating the multifaceted talent of the Zeppelin legend. \n\n\n\nIn 2015\, Bevan Davies joined Zoso on drums to master the part of John Bonham. An accomplished touring and studio drummer with a resume that includes playing with such artists as Danzig\, Jerry Cantrell (of Alice in Chains)\, and Static X and many more. Davies brings an unmistakable power and precision to Zoso’s live shows\, helping the band recreate Bonham’s legendary drum sound. His performance of Bonham’s legendary Moby Dick is something to behold. \n\n\n\nIn 2025\, at the age of 24\, Holston Rainero joined the band\, taking on the monumental guitar role of Jimmy Page. A fan of Zoso\, Rainero didn’t let an opportunity slip away when he learned of an opening in the band’s lineup. His story read like something straight out of a movie script; Rainero reached out directly to the band through social media to request an audition. While dozens of musicians had already contacted the band with no success\, Rainero’s determination set him apart. \n\n\n\nRefusing to take no for an answer\, he began uploading videos of himself playing classic songs from the band in his bedroom. It didn’t take long for the band to recognize his extraordinary talent. His playing was not just skilled\, it was a truly inspired performance\, with the technical mastery and soul that made it clear he was something special. \n\n\n\nThe band immediately got him to Atlanta for an in-person audition. Rainero\, ever ready\, arrived with his bags packed\, knowing he was prepared to seize the moment. His live audition exceeded all expectations\, and within days\, he was on tour with the band\, stepping into one of rock history’s most iconic roles. \n\n\n\nAfter starting out 2025 touring with Zakk Wylde on the Zakk Sabbath tour. The band has now embarked on its 30th anniversary headlining tour. New dates for the tour are being added every week with the hopes of reaching 150 shows this year. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n	Related

SUMMARY:San Holo "Wholesome Riddim Chapter 2" Tour at The Wilma
DESCRIPTION:Logjam Presents welcomes San Holo for a live performance on the “Wholesome Riddim Chapter 2” Tour at The Wilma in Downtown Missoula at 8:00 pm Friday\, March 13\n\n\n\n\n\nLogjam Presents welcomes San Holo for a live performance on the “Wholesome Riddim Chapter 2” Tour at The Wilma in Downtown Missoula at 8:00 pm Friday\, March 13. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout San HoloBorn Sander van Dijck\, his catalog reads like a diary. Falling in love with punk and alt-rock\, he learned to play the guitar and make noise of his own. Coming up as a future bass producer in the Soundcloud era\, San’s unique style and honest approach to songwriting has earned him a loyal following that supported his independent debut album\, cementing the artist as a star in a league all his own\, while earning the praise of critics and peers from rock icons like Rivers Cuomo and Tom Morello to producers such as Porter Robinson. \n\n\n\nFor San Holo\, everything is personal. Every note is a story and each lyric a memory\, a hyper-real exploration of purpose\, emotion and shared experience. The Dutch producer lives in his own space\, crafting a world of beauty and sentiment through what he calls ‘existential dance music’ (EDM). \n\n\n\nWhether playing a sold-out show at The Shrine\, a massive crowd at Coachella or headlining at Red Rocks Amphitheatre\, every San Holo show feels like an intimate experience. His fans are fiercely loyal\, singing along to each song\, some of them tattoo’d with his lyrics\, and many of them decorating their social handles with echoes of his “stay vibrant” philosophy. \n\n\n\nIn 2022\, San Holo teamed up with popular mental health app\, Calm\, for his “Stay Vibrant” mix series. While other artists in the dance music sphere and industry at large may shy away from the rawer aspects of the human experience\, San Holo has established himself both as an individual and a brand that encourages listeners to embrace one another’s vulnerabilities. “Stay vibrant” is a concept that asks for honesty with oneself and others\, to check in with yourself and your friends about how you’re really doing in triumphant or trying times. \n\n\n\nSan Holo’s single ‘All The Highs’ is a testament – simply put – to all of the lows and all of the highs\, and remembering the ebbs and flows of the human experience. The song featured on FIFA 2023’s official soundtrack and received strong support across digital platforms upon release including Spotify’s New Music Friday and #1 on Apple Music’s Breaking Dance. The official music video was added to rotation on MTV Live and San dropped a sold out ‘All The Highs’ NFT on Sound.XYZ. To celebrate the release\, San partnered with Brownies & Lemonade for an intimate release party where he performed a DJ set in an elevator. \n\n\n\nSan Holo’s forthcoming album is titled EXISTENTIAL DANCE MUSIC\, coming out this fall. This new definition of ‘EDM’ is a crucial component of the San Holo project and community. San explains\,“Music has always been a way for me to express feelings that I can’t describe with just words… Words alone rarely capture something’s pure essence and music seems to get a lot closer to capturing those feelings. \n\n\n\n“Life is so existential by nature; We’re all looking for meaning in this world\, and I’m fascinated by our personal journey of finding purpose. At the end of the day\, we all wanna see the light and feel connected to our true selves and the world around us; We want to feel at peace. Existential Dance Music is all about this journey through life. Our journey to light. The lows\, the highs\, the hellos\, the goodbyes…” \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n	Related

Petracca\, and a dedicated crew of regular attendees\, built Emo Nite into a phenomenon. Top-tier emo artists\, old and new\, curate playlists and perform\, with guest lists boasting members of blink-182\, All Time Low\, Dashboard Confessional\, The Maine\, and Good Charlotte. Scene-friendly pop culture mavericks often participate\, like past attendees Post Malone\, Demi Lovato\, Machine Gun Kelly\, and Skrillex. \n\n\n\nIt’s all too easy to forget that before the first Emo Nite in December 2014\, “emo” was a joke. \n\n\n\nSomehow on its journey from a melodic post-hardcore subgenre\, built on earnest emotional expression\, to a mainstream moniker assigned to anything remotely angsty\, “emo” became a dirty word. Despite the positive impact ushered in by waves of bands\, from the crucial “Revolution Summer” and Sunny Day Real Estate through Taking Back Sunday and My Chemical Romance\, accepting “emo” as a dismissive designation or identity invited polite embarrassment and even scorn. \n\n\n\nBut Freed and Petracca grew up loving the music associated with emo and the people like them who similarly embraced outsider art and subculture\, regardless of changing fashions or pretentious snobbery. Petracca told The New Yorker the idea behind the first Emo Nite celebration was to center a happy\, communal experience on the music they once listened to when they were upset and alone. \n\n\n\n“I sang Dashboard Confessional at karaoke at a friend’s birthday party and thought it was super fun to go out with friends and listen to music we actually liked\,” recalls Petracca\, who met Freed when the pair worked at a creative agency together. “Every other club in LA played EDM\, Top 40\, or hip-hop. We always found ourselves pre-gaming with emo and pop-punk music before we went out.” \n\n\n\nFreed knew a bartender at the Short Stop in Echo Park and convinced him to let them throw a party on a random\, rainy Tuesday. They invited friends via Facebook; double the bar’s capacity turned up. “We decided to see how far we could take it\,” Petracca says. “‘Who would be the craziest guest?’ We invited Mark Hoppus\, and he came! He did our first one at Echoplex\, which was our third party ever.” \n\n\n\n“There’s no disconnect between the artist and fan\,” Freed points out. “I think that’s brought people closer to the music. It created a really strong sense of community\, at a time when emo wasn’t ‘cool.’” \n\n\n\nThere may be a surprise acoustic set or even a full-band performance\, but ultimately\, it’s about the experience. Emo Nite turned a party into a community\, reclaiming the spirit of how the scene began. \n\n\n\nIt’s now a recurring event thrown by dozens of friends in over 50 cities in the United States. Emo Nite runs full-day festivals and curates coveted performance spots at Coachella\, Lollapalooza\, Bonnaroo\, Firefly\, and more. Freed and Petracca launched successful clothing collaborations with brands like OBEY\, Urban Outfitters\, PLEASURES\, The Hundreds\, Rose in Good Faith\, Market\, and OWSLA. \n\n\n\n“A larger promoter told us the shelf life of a club night in Los Angeles was two years\,” Freed says\, marveling at Emo Nite’s staying power. “A hundred percent of it is the people that go to it. This music makes people feel connected. The energy of it is so special. You get a group of people together who look different\, but they have this thing in common. We started seeing friend groups form really\, really quickly. People met their significant others at these events. The community really trusts each other.” \n\n\n\n“Emo Nite LA has become an essential gathering point for fans of emo\, pop-punk\, and related styles\,” Rolling Stone noted. \n\n\n\nIn October 2021\, Emo Nite’s founders threw Emo Nite Vegas Vacation\, a three-day event headlined by Avril Lavigne and Machine Gun Kelly\, with Sleeping With Sirens\, MOD SUN\, 3OH!3\, and more. \n\n\n\n“What Emo Nite does better than any of their competitors is they make ‘emo culture’ feel both nostalgic and brand new\,” The Summer Set’s Brian Logan Dales told Forbes\, in a profile which included professions of love from members of Papa Roach\, Underoath\, and State Champs. “You can go to an Emo Nite with your best friends and sing along to old songs you grew up with\, and at the same time\, discover a brand-new artist who’s making music today because they grew up on that very same music as you. They’ve taken the emo of the past and helped it forge a new path for the future.” \n\n\n\nAs emo reenters popular culture with a blend of adoring nostalgia and optimistic forward- thinking\, Emo Nite remains an authentic space to celebrate diversity\, experience passionate catharsis\, and champion authentic expression. Emo Nite isn’t a band or a DJ crew. It’s an idea\, one as simple as the urge to throw a party for a beloved style of music. Often imitated but never truly duplicated\, Emo Nite’s founders and supporters are fond of saying\, “If you don’t see the grave\, it ain’t our rave.” \n\n\n\n“There’s a lot of ownership from our community of the event itself and the Emo Nite brand\,” Petracca says. “It’s about breaking down that barrier of ‘Look at me\, it’s all about me.’ No\, it’s about us\, together\, in this room. It belongs to every single person that comes through the door.” \n\n\n\nThe co-founders continue to look ahead. “Emo Nite definitely impacted culture\,” Freed notes. “But we have no plans to stop changing the way we view the evolution and expansion of the genre.” \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n	Related

Seldom is this phenomenon felt more powerfully than inside the wonderful world of Opiuo. A genre-bending plethora of auditory and visual masterclasses upon which Oscar Davey-Wraight has built his highly respected\, forward-thinking career. Born in 1984 in rural New Zealand\, his parents provided the land upon which music festivals were held\, unveiling the magic of live music to Opiuo at a young age. This extremely formative growth surrounded by the early incarnations of Aotearoa’s electronic music scene exposed him to the beautiful celebration of life through self-expression\, dance\, and giant sound systems. These experiences directly shaped so much of who he is & what he stands for today. Positivity and movement at the core of the project\, his music is an infectious electronic based blend of funk\, soul\, psychedelia\, and booty-shaking bass. \n\n\n\nNow calling Australia home\, Oscar frequently tours his party-starting music throughout the globe. In that time\, the venerated duo have built a legacy out of bringing honesty\, humility and vulnerability to the forefront of their music\, continually challenging themselves to evolve without straying too far from their roots. Slug has proven masterful at storytelling and writing compelling narratives\, leaving a trail of his own influence while paying homage to the rappers and songwriters that helped shape him. Ant has skillfully molded the soundtracks with inspiration from soul\, funk\, rock\, reggae\, and the wizardry of hip-hop’s pioneering DJ’s and producers\, creating his own trademark sounds while providing the pulse for songs about life\, love\, stress and setbacks. At its essence\, Atmosphere has been a musical shepherd\, and with each new album comes a new journey as they guide generations of listeners through this thing called life. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout Sage FrancisSage Francis is a forefather of the indie rap movement\, the CEO of Strange Famous Records\, and is widely considered one of our generation’s greatest lyricists. His career derives mainly from gifted wordplay which creates vivid narratives to instigate as well as inspire. There’s a lot more to it\, but who has time for all that during times like these? \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout R.A. the Rugged ManR.A. The Rugged Man is one of the most fascinating figures in hip-hop history. His career spans decades\, and defies simple narratives. The Rugged Man has been an up-and-coming star\, an industry outcast banished and forgotten\, an underground cult hero\, an independent success story\, and an influential master of the art form. He can obliterate rappers with ferocious battle rhymes\, craft heartfelt personal songs fans can relate to\, offend sensitive listeners with shocking vulgarity\, challenge corrupt politicians and corporations\, paint pictures with captivating storytelling\, and deliver jaw-dropping flows that prove his lyrical skills are unmatched. He’s also worked with a staggering number of hip-hop’s most respected artists\, including legends like The Notorious B.I.G.\, Wu-Tang\, Tech N9ne\, Rakim\, Mobb Deep\, Talib Kweli\, Kool G Rap\, Public Enemy\, Brother Ali\, and many more. And while others struggle to maintain a foothold in the ever-changing rap landscape\, R.A. The Rugged Man is the rare artist who has become more relevant with time\, with each new album more compelling than the last. \n\n\n\nOriginally from Long Island’s Suffolk County\, R.A. was raised by his father\, a Vietnam veteran whose exposure to Agent Orange left two of R.A.’s siblings with severe disabilities. After building a reputation as one of the most talented unsigned MCs on the scene\, he sparked a bidding war between several major labels. R.A. eventually signed to Jive Records\, but his outspoken defiance and reckless behavior spelled the end of that deal and left him banned from venues\, labels\, and recording studios. The Rugged Man re-emerged in the late 90s\, pioneering the indie rap hustle by pressing up his own 12” singles and contributing to compilations from the celebrated Rawkus Records. He earned a Gold record for his work on the WWE Aggression album\, and his music was featured on the video game Tony Hawk’s Underground\, which sold millions of copies. \n\n\n\nR.A. then unleashed his seminal independent album Die\, Rugged Man\, Die\, along with the critically acclaimed compilation Legendary Classics. The latter included show-stealing collaborations and many of the storied tracks that fueled his rise\, including the Jedi Mind Tricks song “Uncommon Valor”\, on which the Rugged Man delivers what is widely recognized as one of the greatest verses in rap history. R.A. has also made his mark in journalism and film. He’s interviewed Academy Award winning filmmakers and world boxing champions for outlets like Complex and Vibe\, and worked as a screenwriter and director\, notably writing and producing the cult classic Bad Biology. By the time his last album Legends Never Die debuted at #1 on the Billboard Heatseekers Chart\, R.A. was thoroughly established as an independent hip-hop icon\, playing sold-out shows across the world and drawing widespread praise for his undeniable contributions to the culture. \n\n\n\nNow\, R.A. The Rugged Man is back with All My Heroes Are Dead\, a brand new album that stands as his best work to date. “So many of the greats are gone\, and the legends who made it out alive are cast aside\,” R.A. says. “Society left our heroes and their culture for dead. We have to dig that greatness out of its grave\, and bring it back with an angry vengeance.” While Legends Never Die was dedicated to the memory of his father\, All My Heroes Are Dead is R.A.’s first album since becoming a father of two himself. “When you have children\, that’s a whole other level of joy and pain and emotion\,” he describes. “It opens whole entire universes with the pen.” The music covers a wide range of moods\, and transcends hip-hop cliches. “I didn’t want to make a whole album of just destroying rappers and rapping better than everyone.” the Rugged Man explains. “There’s a lot of places my albums take you\, and there’s way more storytelling on this one. I love to bring listeners into different worlds.” Now available worldwide\, All My Heroes Are Dead features an all-star cast of hip-hop heavyweights\, including Chuck D\, Slug of Atmosphere\, Ghostface Killah\, Immortal Technique\, Vinnie Paz\, Ice-T\, M.O.P.\, Kool G Rap\, DJ Jazzy Jeff\, Onyx\, Brand Nubian\, Chris Rivers\, Inspectah Deck\, A-F-R-O\, Masta Killa\, and more. The highly-anticipated album showcases the full scope of R.A. The Rugged Man’s considerable talent\, making it a powerful statement from an unforgettable artist. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout Kool KeithAfter single-handedly redefining “warped” as the mind and mouth behind the Bronx-based Ultramagnetic MC’s\, Keith Thornton — aka Kool Keith\, Big Willie Smith\, Dr. Octagon\, Dr. Dooom\, and Tashan Dorrsett\, among other personas — headed for the outer reaches of the stratosphere with a variety of solo projects. Keith’s lyrical thematics remained as free-flowing here as they ever were with the N.Y.C. trio\, connecting up complex meters with fierce\, layers-deep metaphors and veiled criticisms of those who “water down the sound that comes from the ghetto.” His own debut single\, “Earth People” by Dr. Octagon\, was quietly released in late 1995 on the San Francisco-based Bulk Recordings\, and the track spread like wildfire through the hip-hop underground\, as did the subsequent self-titled full-length released the following year. \n\n\n\nDr. OctagonecologystFeaturing internationally renowned DJ Q-Bert (of Invisibl Skratch Piklz) on turntables\, as well as the Automator and DJ Shadow behind the boards\, Dr. Octagon’s left-field fusion of sound collage\, fierce turntable work\, and bizarre\, impressionistic rapping found audiences in the most unlikely of places\, from hardcore hip-hop heads to jaded rock critics. Although a somewhat sophomoric preoccupation with body parts and scatology tended to dominate the album\, Keith’s complex weave of associations and shifting references is quite often amazing in its intricacy. The record found its way to the U.K.-based abstract hip-hop imprint Mo’Wax (for whom Shadow also recorded) in mid-1996\, and was licensed by the label for European release. Mo’Wax also released a DJ-friendly instrumental version of the album titled\, appropriately\, The Instrumentalyst.First Come\, First Served \n\n\n\nThe widespread popularity of the album eventually landed Keith at DreamWorks in 1997. The label gave Dr. Octagon (retitled Dr. Octagonecologyst) its third release mid-year\, adding a number of bonus cuts. In early 1999\, however\, Keith’s alter ego Dr. Dooom unfortunately “killed off” Dr. Octagon on the opening track of First Come\, First Served (released on Thornton’s own Funky Ass label). Kool Keith signed to Ruffhouse/MCA for his second album under that alias\, 1999’s Black Elvis/Lost in Space. Records released as Kool Keith followed in 2000 (Matthew) and 2001 (Spankmaster)\, while the 2002 collaboration Gene appeared as KHM (Kool Keith plus H-Bomb and Marc Live). His next project was a four-rapper group named Thee Undatakerz with Keith taking on a new persona\, Reverend Tom. Kool Keith Presents Thee Undatakerz hit the streets in May 2004. Keeping busy\, Keith released Diesel Truckers in August of the same year with old friend/producer KutMasta Kurt.Official Space Tape \n\n\n\nAs if 2004 hadn’t been filled with enough Kool Keith releases\, some truly oddball ones started to appear that year. The Official Space Tape borrowed from previous releases to create the ultimate Keith mixtape; the R&B-leaning Personal Album was released in a limited edition of 500 and with a high price tag; plus the Real Talk label issued Dr. Octagon\, Pt. 2\, an unauthorized release that had little to do with the original and was quickly pulled from the shelves by court order. The next year was much calmer\, with the Global Enlightenment\, Pt. 1 DVD released at the beginning of the year\, followed by Lost Masters\, Vol. 2 in the summer. Nogatco Rd. from 2006 introduced a new character\, Mr. Nogatco (“Octagon” backwards). The UFO-obsessed album was a collaboration with producer Iz-Real. The two-CD Collabs Tape compilation and The Return of Dr. Octagon followed soon after. The Best Kept Secret \n\n\n\nIn early 2007\, Keith was part of an Ultramagnetic MC’s reunion that yielded Best Kept Secret. Tashan Dorrsett\, another concept-driven release from Keith\, was released in 2009 with the remix album The Legend of Tashan Dorrsett following in 2011. His 2012 album\, Love and Danger\, hinted at retirement with songs like “Goodbye Rap\,” but he was still in business in 2013\, making a guest appearance on the Yeah Yeah Yeahs album Mosquito. In 2015 he collaborated with L’Orange and received co-billing with the producer on their album Time? Astonishing! He also collaborated with Ray West for an album titled A Couple of Slices\, which was released as a standard LP as well as a limited deluxe edition packaged in a pizza box with a bonus 7″ and cassette. A third Tashan Dorrsett album\, The Preacher\, as well as Feature Magnetic\, which featured guest appearances by MF Doom\, Godfather Don\, Sadat X\, and others\, arrived in 2016. Keith revived Dr. Octagon two years later with Moosebumps: An Exploration into Modern Day Horripilation. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout Mr. DibbsBrad Forste\,better known as Mr. Dibbs\, is a DJ and hip hop producer. The founder of the turntablist collective 1200 Hobos\, he has also appeared on numerous underground hip hop records as producer or DJ as well as releasing a number of solo works. \n\n\n\nBorn in Cincinnati\, Ohio\, Forste was introduced to DJing around 1985\, when he saw Grandmaster Flash performing on the syndicated light news/entertainment show PM Magazine\, but “didn’t really understand what he did”. \n\n\n\nAfter watching an MTV broadcast of Grand Mixer DXT performing with Herbie Hancock on the latter’s 1980 single “Rockit”\, he learned the hand motions and began to learn scratching himself. He estimates that he spent six months “getting the hang of” scratching\, subsequently spending two years “cutting and scratching to whatever was on TV” to practice. \n\n\n\nDibbs formed his own turntablist crew\, the 1200 Hobos\, in the early 1990s. The crew’s rotating line-up has included Buck 65\, Adeem\, Sixtoo\, Doseone\, Jel\, DJ Abilities\, Adverse\, and DJ Signify among others\, and at its largest numbered 23 members. \n\n\n\nThey have released two mixtapes. In addition to the 1200 Hobos\, Mr. Dibbs has also been on-off touring DJ for Minneapolis hip hop group Atmosphere (though never an official member) and\, with anticon.’s Doseone and Jel\, a member of the group Presage\, who released one album\, Outer Perimeter\, in 1998. \n\n\n\nMr. Dibbs’ “Turntable Hardcore” series of releases was notable for its genre-straddling approach\, blending a wide variety of styles along with more usual hip hop turntablism. In 1996\, Forste teamed up with graffiti magazine Scribble to put on the first Scribble Jam event as a promotion for the magazine’s launch. \n\n\n\nThe event has since become America’s largest hip hop festival\, with separate competitions for rapping\, DJing\, graffiti\, b-boying and beatboxing; its past participants and guests have included such names as Eminem\, Big Daddy Kane\, Masta Ace\, Juice\, Prince Paul\, Hi-Tek\, Rhymefest\, Sage Francis\, El-P\, Cage\, Doseone\, Atmosphere\, Buck 65 and Mr. \n\n\n\nDibbs himself.Mr. Dibbs is the founder and owner of his own label\, Self Core Records.Mr. Dibbs is now the tour DJ for rapper El-P. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n	Related

Although they showed up to their first gig armed with homemade puff paint t-shirts\, a load of crass jokes\, and all dressed intentionally like Stevie Nicks\, from the first few notes of their tight vocal harmonies\, dazzling string virtuosity\, and clever arrangements\, no one had any choice but to take them seriously. \n\n\n\n Determined to be more than a one-night stand\, Big Richard hit the road. They slapped as hard as possible on the festival circuit\, worked up their stamina on nationwide headlining tours\, and left a wake of die-hard Big Richard Heads across the country swooning for their honest songwriting\, chilling vocals\, and fiddle-driven barn-burners. \n\n\n\nFueled by a steady diet of gas station snacks\, Big Richard is currently touring their debut full-length studio album Girl Dinner\, following a whirlwind year that included performances on PBS’ the Cavern Sessions\, NPR’s World Cafe\, Telluride Bluegrass Festival\, Delfest\, Bourbon and Beyond\, Jam Cruise\, and New Year’s Eve at the Ryman in Nashville. \n\n\n\nThey often refer to themselves as the gremlins of the bluegrass world\, and the gremlins are: platinum recording artist Bonnie Sims\, who rips the mandolin and smells like Willie Nelson’s sock drawer; road dog Eve Panning\, who toured extensively with the fiddle band Barrage and has trained her dog to murder on command; bassist Hazel Royer\, plucked from the sidewalk in front of Berklee\, can probably communicate with crows; and Dr. Joy Adams\, who would just rather be skiing. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout Della MaeThe GRAMMY-nominated string band was founded in 2010 and over the next decade and a half they’ve demonstrated to the roots music world\, once and for all\, that a band of all women is not\, nor has ever been\, a mere novelty. They remain at the forefront of the explosion of women instrumentalists and all-women acts in roots music and their impact is striking and measurable – not just in North America\, but around the globe. \n\n\n\nNow 15 years since their origin\, Della Mae can boast their strongest lineup yet. Founders Kimber Ludiker and Celia Woodsmith are joined by guitarist and songwriter Avril Smith and vocalist and three-time IBMA Bass Player of the Year Vickie Vaughn. \n\n\n\n\n	Related

They have steadily amassed a strong catalog while bringing a high level of audience participation and engagement to festivals\, clubs\, and theaters all around the globe. \n\n\n\nThe band’s ambitious sixth record\, Broken\, is a bold declaration of resilience. It fashions music into a sharp sword\, dedicated to cutting free the bonds of self-doubt. Broken is both a perfect distillation of everything the band has achieved creatively\, with the group’s signature passion and diversity\, and a bold leap into the future. Singer Matty Mullins\, emboldened by a renewed purpose and the type of humility derived from personal struggles not dissimilar to the stories the band hears from their fans\, leads the charge against a backdrop of instantly memorable hooks and bottom-heavy crunch\, skillfully performed by guitarist/co-founder Kellen McGregor\, longtime bassist Cory Elder\, and drummer Jake Garland. Consistently journeying to connect with as many people as possible\, Memphis May Fire has toured with a diverse list of important rock and metal acts that includes Killswitch Engage\, Sleeping With Sirens\, Black Veil Brides\, Sevendust\, and Atreyu. \n\n\n\nThe unity of purpose is palpable at a Memphis May Fire show\, as both the audience and band share their life experiences\, their dreams and fears\, through the power of transcendent music. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout Rain City DriveRAIN CITY DRIVE makes vibrant and dynamic alternative rock n’ roll\, with strong roots in the post-hardcore subculture and unapologetically ambitious swings into contemporary pop. Described by Distorted Sound Magazine as “a melody machine” and in Metal Hammer as “a band you need to hear\,” Rain City Drive builds a musical bridge between heavy riffs and soaring\, intimate\, earnest pop. Armed with arena-ready anthems ready-made for long drives\, workouts\, intimate clubs\, and massive festivals alike\, the Florida-based group built a reputation as an engaging live act. Nearly 700\,000 fans around the world listen to the band on Spotify each month. The songs “Talk to a Friend” and “Heavier\,” from their 2020 album To Better Days\, account for 40 million streams between them alone. “Cutting it Close” from their 2022 self-titled follow-up (released in a deluxe edition with bonus cuts in 2023) quickly cracked the Top 5 on SiriusXM radio’s Octane upon release. Rain City Drive warps the boundaries between post-hardcore and aggressive melody. On the adventurous Rain City Drive and beyond\, the group’s spirit of resilience connects with fans old and new\, resonating deeply with all who struggle and find the will to push forward.  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout NevertelLeading with an emphasis on quality in everything they do\, Nevertel – Jeremy Michael (vocalist)\, Raul Lopez (rapper/guitarist/producer) and Alec Davis (guitarist) – have honed a distinctly modern genre-blending sound that fuses elements of hip-hop\, nu-metal and alternative rock. Touting influences from established acts such as Linkin Park and Bring Me The Horizon\, the group draws in listeners with riveting melodic choruses\, hip-hop infused verses and bombastic EDM-style breakdowns.  \n\n\n\n  Even before they were Nevertel\, they were just a bunch of childhood pals bonded by their shared love of music. “We’ve all been best friends since high school and have been in and out of bands together\,” Jeremy explains.  However\, as often happens with school-aged friendships\, they eventually drifted apart – until music intervened yet again. “It wasn’t until years later\, after seeing Linkin Park at the 2014 Carnivores Tour\, Raul called me and Alec about starting another band.” Though the trio is long past their high school days\, they still bond over the interests they shared as kids. “What brought us together was our love for music and video games. We would play video games to stay close and keep in contact about the band. Music and gaming have been instrumental to our growth and bond as brothers.”  \n\n\n\n Now\, after two albums\, two EPs\, and a slew of singles out in the world\, Nevertel has racked up over 60 million global streams to date (and over 900K a week) while fostering an online community of over 600K social media followers. A testament of their dedication to their craft and commitment to their fans\, the band has performed at festivals like Welcome To Rockville\, seen radio support from SiriusXM and earned recognition across all major DSPs\, with a placement on Spotify’s All New Metal\, Kickass Metal\, and Hard Rock playlists.    \n\n\n\n“Our mission is pretty simple: to make music that saves and inspires people to make great changes in their lives.” While they pour their hearts into their work\, at the core of it all\, they do it for the tight-knit group of childhood best friends they once were. “If we could inspire that same 13-year-old kid we once were to follow their dreams and chase their passions then I’d say our mission is being accomplished.”  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout If Not For MeIf Not For Me is a four piece metalcore outfit hailing from Harrisburg\, Pennsylvania. Composed of veterans ranging from all over the central PA music scene\, INFM delivers their own brand of catchy choruses\, driving riffs\, and hard-hitting breakdowns with an explosive live performance to match. If Not For Me has cemented themselves as a fan favorite staple in the emerging metalcore scene. \n\n\n\nDetermined to push the boundaries of their sound\, If Not For Me teamed up with producers Carson Slovak and Grant McFarland of the legendary Atrium Audio (see: August Burns Red\, Erra\, Polaris\, From Ashes To New\, Like Moths To Flames) to produce a new 11-song LP called “Eulogy”\, which takes their dynamic mix of aggressive vocal cadences\, huge catchy choruses\, massive breakdowns\, and technical facemelting riffs to an entirely new level. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n	Related

These shows will hold a particularly special weight for the band and their fans as they mark their first performances following the recent passing of their beloved keyboardist (and founding member)\, Joe Kirchner. While his absence will be deeply felt\, the band is dedicated to honoring his memory by bringing the timeless music of Pink Floyd to the stage with the passion and artistry that Joe himself embodied. The album’s themes of absence\, alienation\, and the pressures of the music industry resonate deeply\, making this 50th-anniversary celebration a particularly meaningful moment to reflect on how these themes remain powerfully relevant in today’s world. Because this is the Mountain Goats—a band known for avoiding the easy route\, always challenging themselves to push a step beyond—Darnielle not only decided to complete this mysterious project but also to deliver it as a full-on musical that stands as the most conceptually detailed and musically elaborate project in the band’s ever-expanding catalog. \n\n\n\n“I loved musicals when I was a kid\,” Darnielle explains\, “but I hadn’t really indulged in them that much until the last 7 years or so. And then we did Jenny From Thebes\, which I called a ‘fake musical’ a lot… But this one actually is going for it.” \n\n\n\nProduced by the Mountain Goats’ multi-instrumentalist Matt Douglas\, who also co-wrote several songs\, the record is embracing\, inviting\, and overflowing with melody and orchestration that extends far beyond the boundaries of their past work. “My approach is more arrangement-based\,” Douglas says of his role. “I’m trying to sculpt the shape of the songs with the layering of instruments that are suiting the song best… I am sometimes a bit of a maximalist with that stuff. Sometimes more is more!” \n\n\n\nDrawing on the cryptic phrasing of its title\, Through This Fire Across From Peter Balkan tells the story of a small crew shipwrecked on a desert island\, where three surviving members—an unnamed narrator\, Captain Peter Balkan\, and Adam—are plagued by diminishing resources and apocalyptic visions. “The first thing you learn is how strong you can be if you have to\,” Darnielle sings early in the album. “The next thing you learn is how cold it can get at night.” \n\n\n\nThese are tales of survival and desolation\, brutality and tenderness\, hard-earned wisdom and heaps of compassion\, novelistic detail and shouted\, wordless choruses that transcend language. In other words\, these are Mountain Goats songs\, further deepening a singular body of work now spanning over three decades. To match the conceptual heft of the narrative\, the band’s core members—John Darnielle\, Matt Douglas\, and drummer Jon Wurster—are accompanied by new bassist Cameron Ralston and crucial appearances from Replacements legend Tommy Stinson\, harpist Mikaela Davis\, and musical theater royalty Lin-Manuel Miranda\, a longtime friend whose background vocals lend the songs an additional dramatic punch. \n\n\n\nFor all the new ground the Mountain Goats cover\, they still play to their strengths. There are belt-along anthems like “Armies of the Lord\,” whose stately slow-build seems designed to get hearts racing during their famed live show. There’s poignant storytelling like the hushed “Peru\,” whose pastoral imagery offers a rare moment of respite amid the destruction. For the diehards\, there are also crucial references to the band’s back catalog: The boombox-era deep cut “Lady From Shanghai” gets a belated sequel that will make you reconsider the stakes of its previous entry (and admire just how virtuosic this band has become). \n\n\n\nAs the story evolves from its opening overture—the first instrumental track to ever appear on a Mountain Goats album—the band guides us through the journey’s humble beginnings and the ensuing chaos\, disappearances\, and acceptance of fate. Occasionally\, the writing feels as formalist and poetic as Darnielle\, a National Book Award-nominated novelist\, has ever achieved: “Lightly row but this much I know/The first thing you learn will be the first thing to go\,” he sings in the brisk\, catchy “Cold at Night.” In “The Lady From Shanghai 2\,” the band sets a sophisticated groove that makes the ambition of its narrator feel precarious\, possibly doomed from the beginning. “When I was a young man I sought out the sky\,” he sings uneasily. Even within the record’s tight\, chronological frame\, Darnielle leaves space for interpretation\, questions that linger after the narrative is over. \n\n\n\n“That’s something that I like\,” he says. “Details that\, generally speaking\, only I will know about. So you try to let the music evoke that very personal thing without it being a confessional song.” \n\n\n\nWorking at Dreamland Recording Studios in Hudson\, New York\, the Mountain Goats have crafted a record that matches the emotional vulnerability of their previous career peaks while filling up a larger space than ever. The performances are so compelling that it may take a few listens to notice the surprising textures they weave in—synth\, pedal steel\, fretless bass—and the bold new chapter it marks in the band’s evolution. As he was writing\, Darnielle envisioned a stage set with a few key props—parts of the ship\, pieces of kelp—as each character delivered their songs in the forms of soliloquies. In the closing “Broken to Begin With\,” one such character surveys his surroundings\, not to lament his own bad fortune but to honor the fact that\, even for a moment\, this environment managed to shelter him at all. This may be like a bleak story to tell\, a common thread of Mountain Goats concept albums all the way back to 2002’s breakthrough Tallahassee. But it speaks to a vision shared by the narrator and\, increasingly\, the restlessly creative trio presenting his tale: “Nothing’s ever promised to anyone\,” Darnielle sings in “Fishing Boat.” “Everything you get is a gift.” \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n	Related

SUMMARY:Trivium Struck Dead Tour with Jinjer and Heriot at The Wilma
DESCRIPTION:Logjam Presents welcomes Trivium for a live performance with Jinjer and Heriot at The Wilma in Downtown Missoula at 7:30 pm Wednesday\, November 26\n\n\n\n\n\nLogjam Presents welcomes Trivium for a live performance with Jinjer and Heriot at The Wilma in Downtown Missouila at 7:30 pm Wednesday\, November 26. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout TriviumVarious belief systems throughout history exalt the number 10 as divine. 10 years comprise a decade\, we traditionally possess 10 fingers and 10 toes\, our very decimal system remains based  on 10\, and so on and so forth. Trivium grasp for collective perfection on their 10th full-length offering\, In The Court of the Dragon [Roadrunner Records]. Following 22 years\, over 1 million units moved\, hundreds of sold-out shows\, and half-a-billion streams\, the GRAMMY® Award nominated Florida quartet—Matt Heavy [vocals\, guitar]\, Corey Beaulieu [guitar]\, Paolo Gregoletto [bass]\, and Alex Bent [drums]—deliver a definitive statement cast in ironclad guitar fireworks\, pummeling rhythms\, lyrical provocations\, and stadium-shaking choruses. It springs from the past\, seizes the present\, and hints at the future of Trivium—and metal—all at once. \n\n\n\n“Getting to album 10 felt momentous\,” says Paolo. “Not many bands get this far\, so it had to live up to being the 10th record. We didn’t know if we were going to be able to tour\, so it had to still be impressive enough to keep everyone’s attention. It was the sole focus for the last ten months. We had to make sure we met the bar we’ve set for our fans and ourselves.” \n\n\n\n“To be 10 records in is an accomplishment in and of itself\,” agrees Corey. “To us\, this music felt special. We’re the strongest we’ve ever been as friends and as a band. I hope it shows in the songs.” “I feel like we’re four people who just started a new band with all of the aspirations and dreams in the world\,” exclaims Matt. “I’m excited to go to practice. I’m excited to play our music. I’m very happy to be in the band with these three guys. 22 years into this thing\, that’s incredible.” \n\n\n\nThose 22 years have set the stage for this era. Trivium crafted a classic in the form of Ascendancy. It concluded 2005 as KERRANG!’s “Album of the Year\,” went gold in the UK\, and has since surpassed global sales of 500\,000 copies. Retrospectively\, Metal Hammer cited it in the Top 15 of the “The Greatest Metal Albums of the Century.” They’ve earned six straight Top 25 debuts on the Billboard Top 200 and six Top 3 debuts on the Top Rock Albums Chart. One of many standouts from 2017’s The Sin and The Sentence\, the single “Betrayer” garnered a GRAMMY® Award nod in the category of “Best Metal Performance.” The quartet reached new heights on 2020’s What The Dead Men Say\, appearing everywhere from The New York Times\,NPR\, Forbes\, Billboard\, Tech Crunch\, and Kotaku to Revolver and Alternative Press. They are the rare band who can incinerate a stage alongside Metallica and Iron Maiden and hold a captive audience of tens of thousands on a Twitch stream. \n\n\n\nIn the midst of the Global Pandemic\, the members safely congregated in order to practice and volley ideas back and forth. During the summer\, Alex and his wife moved across the country from California to Florida as Paolo also relocated back home. Once conditions permitted\, they returned to the studio in Full Sail University with producer Josh Wilbur [Lamb of God\, A Day To Remember] in 2021. \n\n\n\n“When I moved\, everything changed\,” says Alex. “We could easily get on a group text to practice or write virtually anytime. It isn’t like I had to hop on a plane anymore. Everything was so much simpler and smoother. We weren’t working with any time limitations\, and everything paid off.” It most certainly did…Trivium sent shockwaves through heavy metal with the surprise release of the first single and title track “In The Court of The Dragon.” Within a month\, the song piled up millions of streams as Guitar World hailed it as “one of the standout metal tracks of the year.” With its striking renaissance-inspired artwork\, enigmatically unnerving fantasy visual\, and conflagration of guttural screams\, hammering percussion\, orchestral intro courtesy of Ihsahn [Emperor]\, and sweeping hooks\, it unlocked a gateway into another realm. \n\n\n\n“As far as the meaning goes\, there is no right or wrong answer\,” grins Matt. “I want people to come up with their own interpretations of everything they hear\, see\, and experience on In The Court of the Dragon. Of course\, I’m obsessed with Scandinavian stories\, Vikings\, Japanese history\, and the tales of Odin\, Thor\, Ragnarok\, and the end of the world\, Paolo was like\, ‘Why don’t we create our own mythology?’ We’ve definitely used pre-existing myths for inspiration in the past. We created our own myth now.” \n\n\n\nMeanwhile\, “Feast Of Fire” burns bright with a massive chant hyper-charged by nimble melodic thrash and a smart-bomb precise solo. “To us\, ‘Feast Of Fire’ is in the direct lineage of ‘Dying In Your Arms’\, ‘Unti The World Goes Cold’\, and ‘Black’\,” Matt observes. “We really fleshed it out perfectly with the chorus\, and it was meant to feel big.” \n\n\n\nThen\, there’s “Like A Sword Over Damocles.” A hulking groove gives way to a skyscraping refrain uplifted by thick distortion. \n\n\n\n“I had the initial backbone of the song\, and I really wanted to do a barnburner\,” Corey reveals. “I had researched the concept. It was a cool story about the struggles of being someone in power  and always having people question you. What happens when the person who’s questioning you has your job and responsibility? They don’t want it. Paolo built on that idea\, and we made our own story. I’m really stoked for everyone to hear it.” \n\n\n\nThe near eight-minute “Fall Into Your Hands” originated on Matt’s uber popular daily Twitch stream and organically progressed into one of the most epic compositions in the band’s catalog. However\, everythingculminates on “The Phalanx.” It twists and turns through incendiary leads\, heart-wrenching screams\, an entrancing melody\, and final symphonic comedown. “Thematically and musically\, the song has three acts\,” Matt states. “For as conceptual as it is\, it also reflects our chemistry in the room. Since we’re so technically proficient at our instruments and I spend hours singing every day on stream\, we’re over prepared. For In The Court of the Dragon and What the Dead Men Say\, we went in and played without thinking. We default to technical\, elaborate\, and long ideas\, because that’s what we grew up on. It all felt natural.” \n\n\n\nIn the end\, Trivium have inched towards this moment for ten albums and finally arrived like never before as they triumphantly rise In The Court of the Dragon. \n\n\n\n“This album has everything\,” Matt leaves off. “It has the singing\, the screaming\, the death metal\, the black metal\, and the catchy metal. When we have all of those elements together\, we’re the happiest. It’s the key to Trivium.” \n\n\n\n“This is a new chapter\,” Paolo concludes. “We’re crossing into something else. I don’t know what it is\, but I’m excited for it. We have a lot left in us\, and I want to prove that.” – Rick Florino\, August 2021 \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout JinjerThrough their relentless hard work\, non-stop touring and critically acclaimed /chart-breaking releases gaining over 250M streams/views across all platforms globally – JINJER are truly one of modern metal’s hottest and most exciting bands around today. The band has become synonymous with doing things their own way and breaking every rule in the Heavy Metal handbook- which they made loudly clear on their hugely successful fourth studio album: WALLFLOWERS. \n\n\n\nIn less than12 years\, the four-piece Progressive Groove metal wrecking machine known as JINJER have carved their very own place in the Metal landscape. Hailing from Donetsk but now based in Kiev\, this Ukrainian musical oddity formed in 2009 but consider the official start of the band with the addition of the incredible vocalist and Femme Fatale Tatiana Shmayluk in 2010. The band labored intensively and honed their sound in practice rooms and local stages relentlessly\, culminating in their now cult debut album release INHALE\, DO NOT BREATHE in 2012 and winning Best Ukrainian Metal Band in 2013. They would be awarded this prize again a few years later. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n	Related
