Released in the throes of bro-country and before pop stars were crossing over into the genre left and right\, it showcased an artist completely unafraid to double down not only on herself\, but what she’d always loved: classic country songs written from the intellect and the gut\, hell-bent on truth-telling and both timeless and urgent all at once. Respected by her peers\, praised by critics and beloved by her fans\, Price created a lane where independent-minded\, insurgent country music can exist and thrive alongside the mainstream\, and became an ardent fighter for her beliefs in a genre where the norm is to shut up and sing. A trailblazer and a champion for the craft\, Price redefined what it meant to be a modern country artist. \n\n\n\n    And now she’s back with an exquisite\, truly timeless album that reconnects with her roots and pays tribute to the art of the country song\, inspired in part by the legends whom she now calls colleagues and friends. Hard Headed Woman is both a look forward and a look back: a way to march forward while staying true to yourself when the path of less resistance is right there in front of us\, and short cuts are around every corner. And a way to look back when we need to trim what is no longer working\, and to stay connected with where we’re from. It is a promise and a manifesto\, a love song to both a city and a genre\, and a defiant cry for individuality. \n\n\n\nIn creating Hard Headed Woman\, Price brought all of her power as one of  our most beloved and respected songwriters to craft a deep exploration of love and America in a time of unprecedented uncertainty. Featuring appearances from Tyler Childers\, co-writes with Rodney Crowell and a Waylon Jennings song that his widow\, Jessi Colter\, urged her to sing\, it is country music as only Price can make it: free of rules\, cherishing tradition\, hard headed to the core but with a delicate\, beating heart. \n\n\n\nSince releasing Midwest Farmer’s Daughter\, Price has barely slowed down. She’s made four records\, played Saturday Night Live\, been nominated for a Grammy\, toured the world alongside artists like Chris Stapleton and Willie Nelson\, released a lauded memoir (Maybe We’ll Make It\, due on paperback September 2nd)\, became an in-demand producer and was appointed as the first female board member of Nelson’s Farm Aid. And she’s been fearless when it came to genre\, venturing into psychedelic rock on her most recent\, Jonathan Wilson-produced record\, Strays. It would have been easiest to just stay that course\, and keep running. But Price doesn’t follow success or comfort. She follows the art. \n\n\n\n    It took a whole lot of hard work and honesty with herself and others to get there\, but that’s never stopped Price before.  “I made the decision that I had to rebuild everything from the ground up\,” Price says. “There’s all this pressure to be pumping out content\, and I felt the opposite in the way I wanted to approach this record and my life in general.” \n\n\n\n    Price had also established herself as one of the most passionate\, vocal artists in country music and beyond when it came to standing up for political and personal causes\, from the presidential election\, to abortion to gun control: happily hard headed when it came to the fight for equality and justice\, especially for the working class and underserved in our society. Price has always brilliantly woven her activism into her songs\, but her role as a spokesperson had started to overtake\, on occasion\, her role as a songwriter. She wanted to focus on using her written word to deliver the most potent punch of all. \n\n\n\n    “I always hope to do like Johnny Cash did\,” Price says\, “which is speak up for the common man and woman. But there have been so many threats and anger and vitriol over the years\, when I am only coming from a place of love.” \n\n\n\nPrice realized she just needed a break from everything outside of the bubble of family life and her art. She started spending more time at home\, writing songs alone and with her husband\, Jeremey Ivey. She started popping up in the dive bars and tiny venues around Nashville where she got her start\, sometimes just to play a country cover or two or dance with the crowd. She refused guidance to write for pop stars or compromise her values for a quick buck. Most of all\, she turned the emphasis in her music back to songwriting\, exactly where she began.          \n\n\n\n“So much of Strays was leaning into this psychedelic\, textural territory\,” says Price. The music lent itself to vibrant\, heavy stage jams\, with Price often hopping behind the drumkit and bruising her thigh from a tambourine beat. She found herself longing for the days when it was just her and her guitar\, playing at an East Nashville dive bar. “I always knew\,” she adds\, “I would come back to this more rooted sound.” \n\n\n\n    Hard Headed Woman is rooted to its core. Rooted in Price’s history and struggle to make it as a musician for so many years in a town that prizes uniformity and the bottom line\, rooted in the country and folk sounds that have become her signature\, rooted in the simplicity of a few key collaborators instead of songs-by-committee. At the heart of Price’s work is her creative partnership with Ivey\, with whom she describes as having a “soul connection.” “I’m a songwriter\,” Price says. “I’m not somebody who goes out and needs five people to craft a song\, and then tack my name on it. That’s never been my style. I have something to say.” \n\n\n\nSomething to say\, nothing to prove. The first song they wrote for the album that would become Hard Headed Woman was “Close to You\,” a simple\, pining call for a lover that is infused with the sounds of the desert. It’s unfettered and truth-telling\, accented by some flamenco guitar and Price’s gorgeous\, urgent vocals. “We played the jukebox while democracy fell\,” Price sings\, never letting her songs fall out of the context in which they exist. It’s the kind of thing that only she could write\, carrying both love and fear in one single line. \n\n\n\nAs more songs started to form\, an early boost of confidence came from her friends Rodney Crowell and Emmylou Harris\, who heard some of the work at a political fundraiser and encouraged Price to keep going.  “I have both of them to thank for building me up and making me believe in the songs I am writing in this season of my life\,” Price says. Crowell remained not only an inspiration and supporter of the album but a contributor: he co-wrote two songs with Price and Ivey. \n\n\n\n    The album that unfolded from there is drenched in Price’s unique story and unshakeable instincts: while Midwest Farmer’s Daughter was about her journey from childhood to Nashville\, Hard Headed Woman is very much her battle since from dive bars to tour buses\, through parenthood and marriage\, through scrutiny and sacrifice all while fighting constantly for what she believes in\, and the music she loves. It begins with a proclamation on the prelude\, which serves as the album’s mission statement: or\, Price puts it\, “a disclaimer and reminder that I don’t owe you fucking shit.” \n\n\n\n    Songs like the album’s lead single\, “Don’t Let the Bastards Get you Down\,” speak for the downtrodden and the forgotten\, an “anthem for people who are being overlooked in society and need to be lifted up\,” Price says\, “because we are up against so much right now.” As so many of Price’s songs do\, it speaks both for the personal and the political all at once. Price was inspired by the message Kris Kristofferson whispered to Sinead O’Connor when she was booed on stage at a Bob Dylan 30th Anniversary show\, and even got Kristofferson’s widow’s blessing to include his name on the credits. “I always admired Kris for how he stood by her in that moment\, instead of pulling her off the stage like they told him\,” Price says. It serves as a reminder to anyone who encounters resistance in the face of fighting for justice to keep going\, especially when it would be so much easier to capitulate and cower. \n\n\n\n“The song was originally written for a movie that never happened\, but it feels so timely with everything that’s going on in the world\,” Price explains. “The phrase\, ‘Don’t Let The Bastards Get You Down’ originates from Margaret Atwood’s brilliant 1985 piece of literature\, The Handmaid’s Tale. It’s referred to in Latin and used as a rallying cry for resistance against the oppressive regime that symbolizes resilience and hope in the face of adversity. Nolite te Bastardes Caborundorum.” \n\n\n\n    That spirit resonates all across the songs of Hard Headed Woman. The blistering “Don’t Wake Me Up” was based around some writings that Ivey stumbled upon in one of Price’s notebooks\, inspired in part by her deep readings of Frank Stanford\, one of her favorite poets due to his freewheeling work free of boundaries. They spun it all into song in minutes that chugs with the essence of Dylan’s “Subterranean Homesick Blues”: “The way this world is going\, ain’t where I’m at\,” Price howls in her powerful\, unmistakable voice. “Nowhere is Where\,” turns slow and contemplative\, road-worn but never broken\, the call of someone who has been to the mountain but never forgets the prairie below. And “Losing Streak” whirls in with an organ and out with a weary\, world-worn defiance: our worst times don’t define us\, but they’re always part of who we are. \n\n\n\nThere are songs that go back to the beginning of Price’s early grind\, like the western-tinged “Wild at Heart\,” reflecting on how much her life and the city of Nashville has changed over the years – and how important it is to stay true to exactly who you are despite it all. Another\, called “Red Eye Flight\,” is about both leaving a lover and also leaving her longtime band the Pricetags. “I’ve been with those players for ten\, thirteen years\,” she says. “But I could feel that I needed to make a change\, and to change texturally what’s going on with the band. But it’s a familial bond\, different than a friendship.” \n\n\n\nThere are a few choice covers and cuts\, too: “Love Me Like You Used To Do” is by Price’s friend Steven Knudson\, an unsung Nashville writer on whom she hopes to shine a spotlight (helping to elevate the town’s incredibly talented but buried voices is one of Price’s favorite pastimes). Friend Tyler Childers joins Price on that waltzing country ballad\, while “I Just Don’t Give a Damn” is Price’s “Jolene goes to Memphis” take on the Jimmy Peppers and George Jones classic. And showcasing how Price has been trusted by the greats to lead the next generation of country music renegades\, “Kissin You Goodbye” was given to Price by Jessi Colter\, Waylon Jennings’ widow\, when Price was producing her record. They’re songs chosen to appreciate the past and the present as she sees it – not as Music Row or the algorithm might dictate – and place Price squarely amongst her heroes as a living and breathing part of the new country tradition. \n\n\n\n    When it came time to record Hard Headed Woman\, it was important for Price to keep that ethos alive\, decamping to Nashville’s RCA Studio A and reuniting with producer Matt Ross-Spang\, with whom she made her first two solo albums. Though she has worked with everyone from Sturgill Simpson to Jonathan Wilson since\, it was Spang’s vocal rebuke of easy studio shortcuts that made her eager to reunite again. “He’s so unpretentious\,” Price says. “He fully believes in me\, he fully believes in my songs. He got us back to feeling it in your gut and not needing everything to be so perfect.” \n\n\n\n    It felt truly significant for Price to make the album in Nashville\, a city where she’s lived for over two decades and played a seminal role in its transformation\, yet somehow never recorded an album in the place she’s called home. The historic RCA Studio A helped connect Price even closer to the legacy of songwriting she holds so dear\, a place where everyone from Dolly Parton to John Prine to Loretta Lynn have made albums. “It felt like there were ghosts and spirits just hanging out\,” Price says. In perfect kismet\, she also launched her own signature Gibson J-45 guitar\, inspired by her 1960’s Gibson she’s had by her side for years as her career took off. It’s all part of the continuity that she wishes to create with her art\, not just with timeless songs but inspiring future generations of women\, mothers and artists in general who don’t want to sacrifice their vision\, moral compass or family life in favor of mainstream success. \n\n\n\nAt its core\, Hard Headed Woman is about that furious instinct to never waver\, especially when ourselves\, our values and our future is so clearly on the line. As she sings on the title track\, “I ain’t ashamed\, I just am what I am.” \n\n\n\n    “I hope this album inspires people to be fearless and take chances and just be unabashedly themselves\,” Price says\, “in a culture that tries as hard as it can to beat us into all being the same.” \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout Logan LedgerA Nashville-based singer/songwriter with a smooth voice and classic tone\, Logan Ledger built a buzz around Music City in the late-2010s\, calling to mind names like and . His career got a significant boost when producer signed him and brokered a record deal with \, resulting in an eponymous full-length record appearing in 2020 as well as 2023’s Golden State. \n\n\n\nA native of California\, Ledger developed a fondness for bluegrass\, old-time\, and honky tonk music from a young age. After a brief post-college stint as part of a Bay Area bluegrass band\, he migrated east to Nashville and put in the requisite hours working on his songs and playing at venues around the city. Industry insiders quickly took notice\, and before long he was working with the legendary \, who signed him to his imprint and helped foster a deal for Ledger with . The first official release from these sessions arrived in early 2019 with the singles “Starlight” and “Imagining Raindrops.” \n\n\n\nFor 2023’s Golden State\, Ledger worked with producer \, along with such musicians as Nick Bockrath and Jamie Douglass; it also featured a cameo by on “Some Misty Morning.” ~ Timothy Monger \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n	Related

SUMMARY:Nekromantix with Goners UK at The Wilma
DESCRIPTION:Logjam Presents welcomes Nekromantix for a live Halloween performance with Goners UK at The Wilma in Downtown Missoula at 9:00 pm Friday\, October 31\n\n\n\n\n\nDoors @ 8:00 pm \n\n\n\nLogjam Presents welcome Nekromantix for a live Halloween performance with Goners UK at The Wilma in Downtown Missoula at 9:00 pm Friday\, October 31. \n\n\n\nTickets on sale at Logjam Presents Box Offices and online while supplies last. All tickets are general admission standing room only. All ages are welcome. \n\n\n\nTake a look at these tips to best prepare yourself for a smooth ticket buying experience. \n\n\n\nAdditional ticketing and venue information can be found here. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout NekromantixNever self-serious while far from a joke at the same time\, Nekromantix is a musical unearthing of the biggest themes from the greatest works of monster\, zombie\, vampire\, werewolf and b-horror fiction; ripped from literature\, comic book pages or classic celluloid. Nekromantix chases a darkly romantic muse with an even darker humor. \n\n\n\nThe Nekromantix catalog boasts enduring genre classics like the unapologetically hooky yet undeniably fierce “Who Killed the Cheerleader?” and “Gargoyles Over Copenhagen” alongside subversively sentimental cuts like “Haunted Cathouse” and “Subcultural Girl.” There are echoes of rock n’ roll’s greats and punk rock icons alike\, all with modern flair. \n\n\n\nA Symphony of Wolf Tones & Ghost Notes broadens the Nekromantix legacy with expansive ambition that never sacrifices the trio’s inherent grittiness\, furiously stoking and reshaping the flames of the creative vision begun in Denmark with legendary labels like Nervous Records\, through the band’s master classes in punk n’ roll albums stateside with Hellcat Records\, the label cofounded by Tim Armstrong and Brett Gurewitz. \n\n\n\nArmed with his signature coffin bass\, chilling baritone\, monstrous expressions and ten-stories-tall haircut\, Kim Nekroman has earned tremendous respect\, admiration and goodwill from a fiercely dedicated legion of hard-partiers\, rabble-rousers\, well-meaning degenerates\, grease monkeys\, outlaw bikers\, nostalgic tastemakers and forward-thinking punks. It’s a crew of supporters as diverse as the otherwise classic and timeless music the Danish-born California transplant has unleashed as leader of Nekromantix. \n\n\n\nNekroman’s notorious quiff is as instantly recognizable as the coffin bass he’s slapped into submission on nine studio albums\, countless worldwide tours and festivals. The quiff\, of course\, combines the midcentury rebel style of the pompadour and flattop with the punk attitude of New York and Europe from the late 70s. It’s a fitting symbol for the style of music Nekromantix has perfected into an art form\, a rollicking psychobilly sound with reverence for the genre’s origins and predecessors\, infused with an iconoclastic boundlessness that refuses to abandon the electric catharsis of unadulterated fun. \n\n\n\nReturn of the Loving Dead (2002) marked a career resurgence and subcultural breakthrough for what was previously a feverishly cherished underground band best known outside of North America\, via now legendary records like Curse of the Coffin (1991)\, Brought Back to Life (1994)\, Demons Are a Girl’s Best Friend (1996) and their unstoppable debut\, Hellbound (1989). The new millennium brought the band to America (at first to tour and eventually\, to stay)\, conjuring into the world new Nekro landmarks in the forms of Dead Girls Don’t Cry (2004)\, Life is a Grave & I Dig It! (2007) and What Happens in Hell\, Stays in Hell (2011)\, as Nekroman steered the band through shifting lineups and energized shows with bands like Rancid and Reverend Horton Heat. \n\n\n\nNekroman has been joined by skilled guitarist Francisco Mesa for nearly a decade now\, with drummer Adam Guerrero bringing a fresh injection of passionate enthusiasm to the band in 2014. A Symphony of Wolf Tones & Ghost Notes is a fertile proving ground for a reenergized lineup that fans of the band have already loved for two years. New songs like “Glow in the Dark\,” “War Bats” and “Resting Witch Face” are instant classics\, standing mightily alongside the greatest Nekromantix songs enduring in their set list. \n\n\n\nThere are some bands whose sound\, image and front person became synonymous with an entire subculture\, whether as originators of a particular style\, a crucial innovator among a handful of likeminded artists\, or simply as the best embodiment of everything a specific style has to offer. Rock historians may debate who reigns supreme among Black Sabbath\, Led Zeppelin and Deep Purple\, but there’s no denying they are all heavy metal titans. When someone says “Lemmy” or “Strummer” or “Blondie\,” certain feelings are immediately invoked. There’s a palpable energy in the air among hardcore acolytes and culture mavens. It’s a kind of iconic resonance that transcends boundaries. \n\n\n\nTo their dedicated army of supporters around the world and across every dimension\, Nekromantix stands tall among the ghosts in rock n’ roll’s undead cemetery. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout Goners UKFew bands consistently bring the energy that Goners UK brings; whether on record or live shows\, the hometown heroes are unwavering in their delivery of fast paced\, heavy handed\, no-bullshit punk rock.  \n\n\n\nHailing from the snowy caps of Bozeman\, Montana\, the quintet stops at literally nothing to bring their storied tunes to every corner of the map.  \n\n\n\nSelf starting. Hard working. Relentless in their pursuit of progressing in every show\, every album\, every song; Goners UK is a force to be reckoned with. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n	Related

DESCRIPTION:Logjam Presents welcomes Between the Buried and Me and Hail The Sun for a live concert performance on The Blue Nowhere Tour with Delta Sleep at The Wilma in Downtown Missoula at 7:00 pm Wednesday\, October 22\n\n\n\n\n\nDoors @ 6:00 pm \n\n\n\nLogjam Presents welcomes Between the Buried and Me and Hail The Sun for a live concert performance on The Blue Nowhere Tour with Delta Sleep at The Wilma in Downtown Missoula at 7:00 pm Wednesday\, October 22. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout Between the Buried and MeProgressive metal visionaries Between the Buried and Me return with their most immersive and eclectic record yet—The Blue Nowhere\, their first on InsideOutMusic. Mixing uncharted musical detours with their distinctive aggressive identity\, the band create a conceptual world unlike anything in their incredible catalog\, inviting the listener to experience the journey on their own terms. Though the story takes place in a hotel—The Blue Nowhere—don’t expect haunted corridors or shadowy figures behind every door. \n\n\n\n“It’s more of a feeling—those moments when you feel alone in the world and use that solitude to reflect on the human experience\,” Rogers clarifies. “It exists in a space where no one can find you\, hidden from all forms of reality—that’s The Blue Nowhere.” Trying something new is not unusual for the group\, who once again find ways to expand their musical palette while maintaining the band’s core sound. No more surprising is the album opener\, “Things We Tell Ourselves in the Dark\,” which sets the tone with INXS and Duran Duran-inspired textures\, even incorporating 90125-era Yes\, filtered through BTBAM’s signature chaos. Meanwhile\, “Absent Thereafter” is a quintessential BTBAM track—layered\, intense\, and unrelentingly dynamic\, this 10+ minute opus delivers everything a BTBAM fan could want and more. Between the Buried and Me remain allergic to stagnation\, and The Blue Nowhere proves their creative drive is stronger than ever. “It feels like a natural evolution for the band\,” says Rogers. “We’re not repeating ourselves. We’re lucky to have a fanbase that’s along for the ride. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout Hail the SunWhen Hail The Sun entered the studio to record what would become their highly-anticipated fifth full-length album\, New Age Filth\, they knew they were setting out to release their most ambitious material to date. The band\, consisting of Donovan Melero (vocals/drums)\, Aric Garcia (guitar)\, John Stirrat (bass) and Shane Gann (guitar)\, spent five weeks with producer Kris Crummett which resulted in their most collaborative and diverse album yet. \n\n\n\n“Domino”\, the energetic first single off of the record\, showcases the band’s technical prowess with instruments dancing over one another as vocalist Donovan Melero belts out his signature high-pitched vocals. Lyrically\, the track centers around reflection of self and how past actions can affect others. On writing “Domino”\, Melero stated\, “Reflecting is important. What we might discover in reflection can be a hard pill to swallow. I’m only as big as my weakest character flaw. I’m told that I talk a lot in my sleep\, and these are the things I think I say.” \n\n\n\nHail the Sun’s New Age Filth includes tracks that are heavier and poppier at the same time\, proving their ability to be extremely technical in instrumentation while also unleashing some of the catchiest hooks they’ve ever created. The influence from genre-melding predecessors like Coheed and Cambria\, At The Drive-In\, and even Yes is apparent\, but the sound is still very much a natural evolution from Hail The Sun’s past work. \n\n\n\nThe shifting musical compositions on New Age Filth perfectly accompany the emotive lyrical outpour found across the album. Continuing along the theme of reflection\, Melero weaves through painful and emotional experiences of love\, cynicism\, and touches on how awful humans can be to one another. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout Delta SleepWhat started as an earnest foray into pushing the boundaries of fledging math-rock\, over the course of thirteen years has morphed into something much more for Canterbury (via Brighton) quartet Delta Sleep. Continuously surprising their listeners with every release by constantly tweaking and perfecting their sound\, so far the bands expansive repertoire defies to be constrained by any strict sub-genre or category: molding their sound into something that goes beyond the labels of just math-rock. \n\n\n\n\n	Related

They met four years prior as freshman at St. Mary’s University in Winona\, MN. After being in a campus rock band for the first few years of college\, the guys created Koo Koo as an experimental project for SMU’s annual battle of the bands. The idea centered around crowd participation\, comedy and dance music\, stretching the concept of a what a “band” could be. \n\n\n\nThe next few years saw Bryan and Neil touring throughout the Midwest playing bars\, basements and barbecues. Meanwhile they released their first few albums and music videos. In 2010 the band was chosen to support Orange County superhero rock band The Aquabats on their east coast tour. This turned into more support slots with Reel Big Fish and Yo Gabba Gabba Live. Meanwhile Koo Koo began creating “dance-a-long” videos for their songs to help demonstrate the moves that audiences would need to know at their shows. These videos were unexpectedly a hit with elementary school teachers\, which led Koo Koo into the world of children’s music and becoming a “real” kids’ band. \n\n\n\nMore domestic and international touring followed as the guys hit the road with The Vans Warped Tour\, Frank Turner & Sleeping Souls\, and MC Lars. Concept albums about cats\, potty humor\, self-help\, holidays and Panera Bread added to the band’s discography. Simultaneously\, the popularity of their “brain break” dance-a-long videos continued to skyrocket in classrooms around the world. \n\n\n\nIn 2021 Bryan and Neil released their first non-concept album since 2013\, partnering with Twin Cities producer extraordinaire Lazerbeak. “Slow Clap” presents a more hiphop-centric sound with plenty of grooving bass lines and monstrous drums\, while retaining the catchy\, weirdo-energy fans expect from the band. \n\n\n\nThey stepped into a new realm with their TV series “Oh Yeah Heck Yeah.” This fastpaced variety clip show features music videos\, sketches\, animation and interactive games in their irreverent\, high-energy style. The first season consists of five tenminute episodes with each premiering a brand new Koo Koo song and video. You can watch their self-produced show on the Koo Koo YouTube channel. \n\n\n\nMore shows\, videos\, podcast episodes and antics are yet to come! We hope you’ll join in on the fun as we write the next chapter of Koo Koo. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n	Related

SUMMARY:The Motet with Sunsquabi at The Wilma
DESCRIPTION:Logjam Presents welcomes The Motet for a live performance with Sunsquabi at The Wilma in Downtown Missoula at 8:00 pm Friday\, October 10\n\n\n\n\n\nDoors @ 7:00 pm \n\n\n\nLogjam Presents welcomes The Motet for a live performance with Sunsquabi at The Wilma in Downtown Missoula at 8:00 pm Friday\, October 10. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout The MotetA new beginning can happen at any time. No matter where you may be on your journey\, you can always start over once again. \n\n\n\nAfter 26 years\, nine albums\, and over a thousand shows\, The Motet embark on another chapter galvanized in equal measure by their longstanding bond and a surge of fresh energy. The genre-breaking group—Dave Watts [drums]\, Joey Porter [keys]\, Garrett Sayers [bass]\, Drew Sayers [keys\, saxophone]\, and Ryan Jalbert [guitar]—officially welcome Sarah Clarke [lead vocals] to the family. Their inimitable instrumental interplay proves just as fiery as ever\, while her addition only fuels their collective flame higher. \n\n\n\nThey ignite a new era with their 2024 full-length album and first with Sarah on the mic\, Love Time. \n\n\n\n“It’s our first step into the world as this iteration of The Motet\,” affirms Sarah. “It’s also an opportunity for folks to hopefully jump aboard and see where it goes.” \n\n\n\n“It is the beginning\,” agrees Dave. “We’re not in this for money or fame. We just want to be able to write songs and play shows. The fact we can travel as far as we do\, go through everything as a team\, and play music we wrote together is humbling. To see people coming out to shows\, smiling\, singing\, dancing\, and sustaining our careers is nothing short of a miracle.” \n\n\n\nThe Motet bubbled up out of Colorado back in 1998. Their catalog has grown to encompass a bevy of fan favorite albums. In between\, they have packed houses coast-to-coast. The band has impressively headlined their hometown Red Rocks Amphitheatre seven times as well as gracing the bills of Bonnaroo\, Bottlerock\, Electric Forest\, Bumbershoot\, Summer Camp\, and High Sierra\, to name a few. \n\n\n\nThe Motet first crossed paths with Sarah on tour. Blown away by her performance with her band Dirty Revival\, Dave kept in touch\, and asked her to sing at a handful of Bay Area shows in 2022. Sparks flew\, chemistry sizzled and the collaboration showed immense promise. She soon found herself in the studio with the group\, lending her powerhouse pipes to “Natural Light” and “We Got U\,” paving the way for the new album Love Time. \n\n\n\n“We’ve continued going down a path of funk\, soul\, and disco\, but Sarah takes it all up a notch\,” Dave smiles. “She has a unique way of approaching and lyrics\, and she collaborates with the rest of us really well. We’re on the same road\, but it has a different color to it.” \n\n\n\n“As soon as we started working together more\, I was so inspired\,” Sarah adds. “It’s an honor to play with musicians of their caliber\, and I knew The Motet was where I wanted to be.” They wrote and recorded at a comfortable pace\, locking into a groove throughout 2024. With Sarah based in Portland and the rest of the crew in Denver\, they carved out pockets of time to collaborate on what would become Love Time. \n\n\n\nThe Motet went on to tease the album with a series of singles\, including “Love Time\,” “Thinkin Too Much\,” and “Something Better.” On the latter\, a pliable guitar lick weaves around strains of organ anchored to a head-nodding beat. Sarah’s soulful delivery on “Something Better” simmers until it practically melts into the song’s strut. Through her lyrics and against this smooth backdrop\, she wrestles aloud with the insecurities and anxieties of parenthood. \n\n\n\n“When Joey sent me the music\, I was instantly drawn to it\,” Sarah exclaims. “It gave me these feelings of listening to old Marvin Gaye. I wanted to bring some of that energy. Joey\, Dave\, and I all have kids\, and there’s something about this world that can be a little scary as a parent. I was thinking of my son and wanting a better world for him.” \n\n\n\nOn “Thinkin Too Much\,” an electric guitar groove and slick drums shape the soundscape as the vocals resound with vibrancy and vitality. It culminates on a chantable chorus punctuated by a bit of wisdom\, “Don’t be thinkin’ too much about it.” \n\n\n\n“I had such a fun time developing the lyrics with Jalbert\,” Sarah says. “We quickly settled on a concept surrounding the difficulties that come with overthinking\, anxiety\, and how difficult it is to focus on the positive parts of life. Sometimes\, we have to focus on the little things that bring us joy instead of the bigger things that make us crazy. Perhaps\, that’s easier said than done.” \n\n\n\nOn “Love Time\,” a buoyant soundscape ushers bodies straight to the dancefloor. Revolving around slinky riffing and hypnotic synth-craft\, the tune reaches its climax at just the right moment\, “It’s make a little love time.” \n\n\n\n“‘Love Time’ was fun to write\, because I decided not to take it too seriously\,” Sarah reminisces. “I wanted something that felt bouncy and happy—It’s a silly\, flirty thing that plays with themes of attraction\, sex\, consent\, and the funny feeling you get when you meet a potential partner for the first time. It’s joyfully unserious. In true Motet fashion\, all we want you to do is dance.” \n\n\n\nThen\, there’s “Daydream.” A laidback slice of tripped-out funk bliss\, Sarah sets the scene with no shortage of bright color\, “Messages received\, from neon greenery amidst the digital buzz\, take me away.” \n\n\n\n“A few folks in the band have enjoyed psychedelics before\,” she grins. “We wanted to address some of the feelings that can come about in that space. It’s talking about freedom of mental expression\, but also kind of getting lost in that space in a very positive way.” \n\n\n\n“We’re all so thankful and excited to be here\,” Sarah leaves off. “It was amazing to work on a studio record together\, but the live show is where it’s at. Now\, I’d encourage you to come out and see it for yourself.” \n\n\n\nAs this new chapter gets underway\, there’s still nothing like getting lost in the world of The Motet. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout SunsquabiMusic brings us to our feet literally\, figuratively\, and spiritually. It inspires us to rise up to the trials and tribulations of our daily lives and\, on a larger scale\, to the challenges of the world. Through an unspoken sonic communion between three distinct musical identities\, SunSquabi—Kevin Donohue [guitar\, keys\, production]\, Josh Fairman [bass\, synth]\, and Scotty Zwang [drums]—rouse us from inactivity and into action when we need the extra push through their signature live electronica sound. After racking up tens of millions of streams and delivering rapturous performances at legendary venues such as Red Rocks Amphitheatre\, they continue to incite personal revolutions louder than ever with their recent releases Cloudburst EP [2024] and Grind EP [2024]. \n\n\n\n“The past few years have shown us how resilient people can be\,” observes Kevin. “Our music reflects that journey—overcoming obstacles and finding light through it all. These EPs are a testament to staying grounded\, connected\, and hopeful.” \n\n\n\nSunSquabi has ignited the energy of listeners everywhere since 2015. They’ve unveiled a string of fan-favorite releases such as Odyssey [2016]\, Deluxe EP [2017]\, and Instinct [2019]. Praised by outlets like 303 Magazine\, JamBase\, and Live For Live Music\, they’ve also earned acclaim from Westword\, which proclaimed\, “The record has electrifying moments\,” and ThisSongIsSick\, which raved\, “SunSquabi never fails to bring the funk.” Along the way\, they’ve sold out venues coast-to-coast\, capturing one of their iconic Red Rocks gigs on SunSquabi (Live at Red Rocks). The trio has collaborated with String Cheese Incident\, Late Night Radio\, Lettuce\, and GRiZ\, among others. \n\n\n\nMuch of their newest music has emerged from the synergy of marathon jam sessions\, the energy of live gigs\, and their ever-evolving creative chemistry. During the pandemic\, SunSquabi deepened their bond as a band and stayed true to their core. \n\n\n\nJosh reflects\, “We’ve always stayed authentic to ourselves and the music we feel in our hearts. That’s what keeps us going and what our fans connect with.” \n\n\n\nIn 2025\, SunSquabi’s mission remains clear: to uplift\, inspire\, and connect. As Kevin concludes\, “If there’s one thing we hope to do\, it’s to lift people’s spirits and remind them there’s always a way to rise up.” \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n	Related

Following the critical acclaim of their their first LP Introduction\, Presence\, its 2021 follow-up A Way Forward pushed them to a wider audience—landing them their late-night TV debut on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and a string of sold out tours—and their 2023 record Strange Disciple has continued this momentum\, landing Rough Trade’s coveted #1 album of the year spot. Now a mainstay atop lists of the best live acts of recent years\, the band continue to charge synth-first into their latest chapter as a major festival draw at recent iterations of Austin City Limits Festival\, Desert Daze\, Pitchfork Festival\, Primavera Sound\, Corona Capital\, Outside Lands\, Bonnaroo and many others. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout Greet DeathTrue to the band’s name\, death creeps into nearly all of Greet Death’s songs. And yet\, through this ever-present certainty\, the band finds the absolute core of what it means to be alive. \n\n\n\nSince 2011\, elementary school friends Logan Gaval and Harper Boyhtari have been writing songs full of big ideas and everyday details. Their music\, loud and full of melodic sensibility\, draws from shoegaze\, doomgaze\, and a little-bit-of-everything-gaze\, creating an emotionally maximalist palette. Writing separately but playing together (think of them as small-town Michigan’s Tom DeLonge and Mark Hoppus)\, they’ve been drawing in a devoted crowd ever since their unexpectedly successful debut Dixieland in 2017\, followed by their next-level opus New Hell in 2019. You’d be hard-pressed to find albums with such heart: ones flooded both with full-bloom feelings and the dumb stories we tell ourselves in order to get through the day. \n\n\n\nReturning six years later with Die In Love\, their third and best album\, Greet Death faces the great human problem—that we must go on living despite knowing we’re going to die\, and loving despite knowing we’re going to lose it all—with great sensitivity\, humor\, and flourish. With this album\, Greet Death has found a way to anthemize our suffering\, to turn it into one great\, big\, beautiful singalong: we’re all gonna die\, woo! \n\n\n\n“Everybody struggles in a roundabout way\,” goes the album’s opening lyric. No longer just honing in on their own pain\, the band is now using suffering as a jumping-off point\, a way to connect\, and ultimately love one another. “Emptiness is everywhere\, so hold each other close\,” Harper sings later on\, another of the album’s key lyrics. After years of performing their songs live\, the band has seen firsthand how keenly their audience connects to their music. “So I wanted to try to write something less fatalistic\, because I feel some kind of responsibility to help\,” says Logan. \n\n\n\nPrior to recording\, Logan had been listening to a lot of The Beatles and Paul McCartney’s solo work\, “because I was trying to figure out how to write a song that wasn’t just depressing\,” he says. He and Harper had been talking for a while about the direction of Die In Love; why not a bunch of love songs?” They tried to do just that\, but of course\, death came creeping in as usual. Die In Love speaks to the most tragic and beautiful scenario possible: dying beside the person you’ve spent your whole life loving. Tragic\, because we have to die. Beautiful\, because we might be able to do it together. \n\n\n\nThey recorded the album in Harper’s parents’ basement in Davisburg\, Michigan\, the place where she and Logan spent much of their preteen and adolescent years. They cut their teeth in that basement\, learning how to be a band around the time School of Rock came out and inspired in aughts kids a new possible life path. Logan and Harper covered Metallica and Blink-182 and wrote songs about batteries and frozen yogurt. Returning to that basement well over a decade later to record their third album felt like the back-to-basics moment they needed\, something that would take the pressure off after years away from the studio. \n\n\n\nEver since they were kids\, music has been the primary form of communication for Logan and Harper. Between them\, they’re able to mine the absolute essence of everything both through big picture ideas and small vignettes of life. In Logan’s songs we hear the former\, and in Harper’s the latter. While Logan takes big\, beautiful hits at existence\, Harper focuses on small shards. On her songs — ‘Country Girl’\, ‘Emptiness Is Everywhere’ and ‘Love Me When You Leave’ — she takes us through DVD viewings of Halloween\, buckets at KFC and family gatherings soundtracked by ‘Hotel California\,’ “that bullshit Eagles song”. Then\, she’ll deliver a Loganism in quick succession\, one absolutely devastating lyric that blitzes it all to pieces: “family is everywhere ‘til it’s not there.” \n\n\n\nDie In Love asks how we can possibly cope with all the inevitable loss we’ll experience in this life. How on Earth can anyone survive it? The point is that none of us do. So\, enjoy the bullshit Eagles songs while they last; the cheap beer\, the disappointing New Year’s Eve celebrations\, the family members and the lovers who choose to stay a little while. \n\n\n\n“Pain and loss. Everyone feels it\, it’s a very human thing\,” says Logan. “At the end of the day\, we’re lucky to lose people we care about\,” says Logan. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n	Related

At sixteen\, he recorded his first album and soon after moved to Idyllwild Arts Academy in California\, where he studied classical guitar and was introduced to the spiritual traditions that would become central to both his life and his work. \n\n\n\nBlending roots and folk with subtle electronic textures\, Hall’s music explores themes of love\, transformation\, and connection. His deeply personal songwriting and global influences have cultivated a loyal fan base and carried him to iconic stages on sold out tours around the world.  \n\n\n\nHis most recent album\, Trevor Hall and the Great In-Between\, marks a bold new chapter\, expanding his sonic landscape while remaining grounded in the raw\, reflective storytelling that defines his work. \n\n\n\nThis summer\, Hall launches The Monsoon Nights Tour—an unprecedented celebration of his decades-long relationship with India. For the first time\, Indian musicians will join him on stage\, honoring the culture and teachings that have deeply shaped his path. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout Will EvansWill Evans pulls everyone into his embrace. He musically accesses a space without boundaries where all are welcome to commune openly and move freely. Through quotable folk-inspired lyrics\, breezy grooves\, and roots energy\, it’s as if he’s giving you permission to be that pure self you can’t always be at work or even at home… \n\n\n\nThe Rhode Island-based singer\, songwriter\, and multi-instrumentalist also puts his words into action via his “Kind Folk” fan community\, activating small acts of kindness\, charity\, and goodwill in tandem with performances nationwide. After generating over 50 million streams independently\, he inspires once again through a series of 2024 releases and much more to come. \n\n\n\n“I want to make music that moves you\,” he states. “It’s rooted in compassion\, kindness\, and community. With anything I release\, there’s a lot of passion behind it. I’m always giving you the most authentic version of myself.” \n\n\n\nBuzzing out of the East Coast\, he has consistently engaged and enraptured a fervent audience. By rotating between acoustic guitar\, didgeridoo\, handpan\, percussive beatboxing\, and more\, he has developed a living and breathing signature sound of his own. Following Wishin’ Well [2013] and Signal Flares [2015]\, he reached a creative tipping point on Rise [2018]. Beyond collaborations with Trevor Hall\, Mihali\, and Paul Izak\, it yielded the fan favorites “Adam & Eve”\, “Rise” and “Hoka Hey” with over 5 million streams and counting. The album notably garnered three nominations at the New England Music Awards. 2023 saw him share After The Burnt Out Sun. Met with critical acclaim\, “a sophisticated collection\,” Seven Days professed\, “the record showcases Evans’ multi-instrumentalist prowess.” Between selling out shows across the United States and Europe\, he has graced bills alongside Crosby & Nash\, Grace Potter\, Bruce Hornsby\, Michael Franti & Spearhead\, Trevor Hall\, and Railroad Earth\, to name a few. Meanwhile\, “Kind Folk” has supported philanthropic organizations\, including Surfrider Foundation\, Operation Warm\, Do It For The Love Foundation\, Always Home\, and more. Their campaigns have ranged from beach cleanups\, clothing and food drives and benefits for land trust organizations. \n\n\n\nAll the while\, he continually pushes himself sonically. \n\n\n\n“I try to find sounds that are grounding \,” notes Will. “Everything starts with the rhythm\, but I just love to create this ethereal atmosphere like a blanket around the lyrics. I treat it like a tapestry and add colors. It almost feels spiritual.” \n\n\n\nThat’s definitely the case with the 2024 single “The Wild Unknown.” This patchwork of dreamy guitar and vibrant bells finds him in a moment of reflection. The lyrics wrestle with life’s highs and lows only to lift off on the anthemic refrain\, “We lit the fire in the wild of the great unknown.” \n\n\n\n“It talks about how the mistakes you make and the lessons you learn in life are what really shape you\,” he goes on. “All of those things are important to help you on your journey\, rather than shutting them out and considering them failures. You need to be strong enough to own those experiences and actions. Life is just a wild ride.” \n\n\n\nOn “Lay Our Weapons Down\,” his mesmerizing vocals practically float atop lithe acoustic guitar. Emotion pours straight from the heart as he wonders aloud\, “What are you gonna do when you hit the ground?” \n\n\n\nThen\, there’s “Tides.” It layers hummable melodies between gentle guitar and soft piano. He cuts deep with proclamations a la\, “It wasn’t a burden\, but it was enough to change the tides.” \n\n\n\nIn the end\, Will has built a place for you\, if you need it. \n\n\n\n“This is pure music\,” he leaves off. “It’s like my sanctuary or my connection to a higher power. I hope it can be the same for you. I’m truly grateful for the opportunity to create.” \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n	Related

SUMMARY:Static-X at The Wilma
DESCRIPTION:Logjam Presents welcomes Static-X with special guests Dope for a live performance at The Wilma in Downtown Missoula at 8:00 pm Thursday\, October 2\n\n\n\n\n\nDoors @ 7:00 pm \n\n\n\nLogjam Presents welcomes Static-X with special guests Dope for a live performance at The Wilma in Downtown Missoula at 8:00 pm Thursday\, October 2. \n\n\n\nTickets on sale at Logjam Presents Box Offices and online while supplies last. General admission standing room only floor / standard balcony and reserved premium balcony seating tickets are available. All ages are welcome. \n\n\n\nTake a look at these tips to best prepare yourself for a smooth ticket buying experience. \n\n\n\nAdditional ticketing and venue information can be found here. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout Static-XFormed when Wayne and Ken moved westward from Chicago to L.A.\, later meeting California-native Campos and guitarist Koichi Fukuda\, Static-X began melding staccato guitar riffs and lyrics that blended harsh reality with sardonic humor. They quickly won over the area’s club-goers who discovered that\, live\, this outstanding young quartet could whip an audience into a frenzy like few others before or since. In stripping every song to its barest\, most minimal essence\, Static-X concerts were fast\, loud and left the listener singing “Push It” until well after the band had departed the stage. \n\n\n\nFrom their earliest performances in the mid-1990s\, Static-X was able to harness the best elements of industrial\, techno and metal into a shattering blend of music that was as infectious as it was brutal. It wasn’t uncommon to see a huge\, sweaty mosh pit mere yards from where more peaceful- but no less enthusiastic- dancing was taking place. Versatility\, that’s the ticket to success these days! \n\n\n\nStatic-X built their fan-base one fan at a time. They performed tirelessly\, spending an inordinate amount of time meeting their fans. The band has prided itself on their approachability\, and since they have a frontman whose vertical hairstyle can be spotted from a great distance\, such friendliness has come in handy on many occasions! \n\n\n\nUpon the release of the Wisconsin Death Trip model\, Static-X were thus able to prove their capacity for world-class entertainment. Promotional videos for “Push It” and “I’m With Stupid” were enthusiastically welcomed by fans and networks alike\, and both songs- along with “Bled For Days”-were Top 40 tracks on rock radio. Unafraid of the rigors of the road\, Static-X have played more than 300 shows worldwide in the last few years\, ranging from supporting slots\, to two separate Ozzfest tours (Main and Second Stages)\, to triumphant headlining tours of their very own. \n\n\n\nFor Machine\, Static-X discovered a new guitar player for their purposes: Tripp Eisen\, formerly of New York rockers\, Dope. Eisen brings an infusion of energy to their live show\, and Wayne Static calls him a natural replacement for Fukuda\, who parted amicably with Static-X prior to the recording of Machine. \n\n\n\nHumor is an essential part of the blueprint behind Machine. What else could explain the appearance of the song “Shit in a Bag\,” which retells the plight of a nervous musician\, rolling down the highway in a tour bus with no toilet in sight? Or the bizarre mariachi instrumental\, “Bien Venidos”? Or the continued appearance of the word “Otsego?” (Last time it was “Otsegolation\,” now it’s “Otsego Undead\,” written for the release of the movie\, Dracula 2000.) \n\n\n\nBut it’s not all fun and games. Songs such as “This Is Not” (seIected as Machine’s first emphasis track and promotional live video) find the singer addressing his dislocation from his home\, and the gripping\, melodic “Cold” details a personal relationship that has suffered from a blanket of uncommunicative silence. “Permanence” bemoans lack of substance in the art of today\, while the album’s title track disdains the pre-packaged\, hermetically sealed lives most Americans lead. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout DopeThe band was founded by song writer and lead singer Edsel Dope in 1997. As a child Edsel and his brother\, Simon Dope\, were separated when their parents divorced. When the two were adults\, they reunited and Simon joined Edsel’s band\, playing keyboards. The pair then recruited Tripp Eisen as bassist\, Preston Nash as drummer\, and Acey Slade as guitarist. \n\n\n\nUnlike many of the popular bands from the 1990s\, Dope derived their sound from influences taken from hard rock bands and fused that with the sound of industrial rock acts which had made waves earlier in the decade\, such as Ministry\, as well as industrial music act Skinny Puppy. \n\n\n\nIn their earliest days\, the band sold drugs to survive and purchase instruments. Furthermore\, the name “Dope” refers to drugs and drug culture\, as shown by their early T-shirt designs which prominently displayed hypodermic needles. \n\n\n\nThe band also had some early connections with fellow rockers Marilyn Manson; drummer Ginger Fish shared an apartment with Edsel Dope in Las Vegas during the earlier 1990s\, before either of them were in their respective bands. Also guitarist Zim Zum allowed the band to claim that they were “currently being produced by Zim Zum” on the cover of their promotional discs to help them gain a record deal. It was originally planned that Zum would produce their debut\, however he was busy recording the album Mechanical Animals at the time. Lead singer\, Edsel\, has maintained a good friendship with ex-Manson guitarist Daisy Berkowitz. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n	Related

SUMMARY:Chase Rice - Go Down Singin' International Tour with McCoy Moore at The Wilma
DESCRIPTION:Logjam Presents welcomes Chase Rice for a live performance with McCoy Moore opening at The Wilma in Downtown Missoula at 8:00 pm Thursday\, September 18\n\n\n\n\n\nLogjam Presents welcomes Chase Rice for a live performance with McCoy Moore opening at The Wilma in Downtown Missoula at 8:00 pm Thursday\, September 18. \n\n\n\nTickets on at Logjam Presents Box Offices and online while supplies last. General admission standing room only floor and reserved premium balcony seating tickets are available. All ages are welcome. \n\n\n\nTake a look at these tips to best prepare yourself for a smooth ticket buying experience. \n\n\n\nAdditional ticketing and venue information can be found here. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout Chase RiceWith more than 2.6 million albums sold and over 2.8 billion total streams\, plus a legion of passionate fans at his high-energy concerts across the globe\, Chase Rice has established himself as a powerful force in Nashville and beyond. With independent album Go Down Singin’ available everywhere now as the follow-up to the critically acclaimed I Hate Cowboys & All Dogs Go To Hell\, and both brought together on brand new offering Fireside Sessions\, Rice’s sound continues to evolve to reflect the realities of his life; from emotional reckoning to an admiration of the American West. The new music serves as a follow up to his three-part project\, The Album\, which featured his latest Platinum-certified No. 1 hit\, “Drinkin’ Beer. Talkin’ God. Amen.” and the Platinum-certified Top 10 hit “Lonely If You Are.” \n\n\n\nThis is the same gravelly-voiced Chase Rice fans first fell in love with years ago – but better\, freer; unbeholden and uninhibited. The new music builds upon the success of his sophomore album\, Lambs & Lions\, which featured the 3x Platinum\, two-week chart topper “Eyes On You” – Rice’s first No. 1 as an artist and the most-streamed song of his career. Lambs & Lions followed Platinum-certified Ignite the Night\, which debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums and No. 3 on the all-genre chart\, producing a pair of Top 5 hits; Platinum-certified “Gonna Wanna Tonight” and Double Platinum “Ready Set Roll.” In addition to guesting on sold-out stadium shows with Kenny Chesney and Garth Brooks\, Rice served as direct support on Dierks Bentley’s 2024 Gravel & Gold Tour and consistently sells out venues on his own headlining tours across the U.S. and beyond. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout McCoy MooreWith an uncanny power to mold the God’s-honest-truth into casual\, clever hooks – plus a disarming charm that can’t be faked – singer-songwriter McCoy Moore makes the kind of country that never tries too hard\, but always hits just right. Signed to TRACK mgmt\, Neal Artist Dev / The Neal Agency and SMACK Songs\, the 23-year-old talent an instant-classic vocal and a no-pretense style\, mixing modern sonic energy with timeless heart. An avowed Average Joe with all the gifts of a small-town poet\, everything from Keith Whitley’s emotional courage to the nostalgic genius of Kenny Chesney helped shape his country love. Native to outside Lakeland\, Florida\, Moore went on to take guitar and voice lessons instead of geometry\, developing a rich\, commanding baritone he mostly used at home. \n\n\n\nBut everything changed in 2018\, when the 16-year-old dreamer met a rising star named Luke Combs. Offering sage advice\, Combs encouraged Moore’s relaxed-fit authenticity while preaching the make-it-happen gospel … and the newcomer took it to heart. Moving to Nashville at 19\, Moore spent the ensuing years honing a craft defined by sharp  country hooks and warm\, welcoming relatability\, already earning cuts by Shane Profitt\, Roman Alexander\, Bryce Mauldin and more. Now\, his own artist career begins with “Something to You.” A coming-of-age anthem built on riveting vocal passion\, thumping heartbeats and an epic organic sound\, the track explores what really matters in a life-well-lived – and marks the first taste of Moore’s upcoming EP debut. \n\n\n\n“Can’t Make That Up\,” a self-proclaimed good ole fashioned love song is also out now. Later this year\, he’ll hit the road with HARDY\, Koe Wetzel & Stephen Wilson Jr. on the JIM BOB WORLD TOUR in major arenas and amphitheaters across the U.S. & U.K.\, as country’s real McCoy arrives. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n	Related

Gazca was always drawn to music\, listening to a mix of the in-your-face classic rock of AC/DC\, the pulsating nu-metal of Slipknot\, and the vivacious southern parking lot pimping music of Slim Thug\, Lil Keke\, Sauce Walka\, and the rappers who ushered in the mid-00s Southern rap takeover. He always gravitated towards music\, but after losing his mother early in life\, and dealing with his dad being in and out of jail\, Gazca faced a crossroads in seventh grade as he pondered how to change his circumstances. “Being a rapper is damn near impossible\,” Gazca says. “With the luck that I got\, I know I’m not making. What am I going to do in life? I couldn’t see myself doing anything else\, so it just had to happen.” With that realization\, Gazca got to work\, spending as much time in his uncle’s makeshift studio as possible and entering into rap battles around the city. But issues with self-esteem pushed him off the path in a bad way. Scared of repeating the mistakes of his other family members\, Gazca re-dedicated himself to his craft around junior year of high school\, continuing to hone his rapping with his uncle and his cousins. After locking in and releasing his first project\, Southern Texas Project\, in 2020\, Gazca got the attention of Greg Gates\, who offered to manage him. Gates changed Gazca’s life\, pushing him to learn to make songs\, rather than focus purely on rapping. “La Muerte” was the lightbulb moment for Gazca\, a rapid tempo\, Mexican guitar-influenced banger that acted as a template to the charismatic trunk rattlers Gazca would go on to make. From there\, Gazca stayed in the studio\, dropping projects and songs at a furious pace such as 2021’s 1 Double O and 2022’s Nonsense and Mexican Shit. But 2023 would be the year everything fell into place\, starting with his breakout track “Johnny Dang\,” which saw the Tejano rapper link up with Texas staple Drodi and the “Sittin Sidewayz” legend Paul Wall for a melding of Texas’ storied past and bright future. The track served as a perfect primer to his album\, Lonestar Luchador\, which meshed his love of wrestling\, comedy and hard-hitting bars into a raucous album that showcases his limitless ambition and knack for worldbuilding. In 2024\, he continued that momentum\, being named to the newest XXL Freshman class and finding success with his follow up project\, Texas Technician. The new project forgoes the conceptual approach of Lonestar Luchador in favor of paying homage to the state and sound that made him. Linking with fellow Texas titans such as Z-Ro\, Paul Wall\, Slim Thug and Le$\, while also finding contemporaries to match his energy such as DaBaby\, Fredo Bang and MoneyBagg Yo\, Texas Technician is a coming-of-age story best heard on the biggest subwoofers in the parking lot. “I like when people hand out CDs in the back of the slab\,” Gazca says. “You see that trunk and it’s glowing with the lights and the speakers\, and bumping their music. That’s the feeling I wanted to bring to this tape\, it just falls back to me loving the hustle and the grind of being a Texas Technician.” Tracks such as the eerie\, Screw-influenced flex fest with MoneyBagg Yo “Twisting Fingers\,” show off That Mexican OT’s natural ability to bring his features into his world\, sounding like a late night\, dirt road rager in Texas. While more introspective tracks such as the heartfelt “Muchos Gracias” reveals his somber side\, remembering everyone who helped him get to this point. Texas Technician shows all sides of Virgil Rene Gazca\, the man inside\, and the outlaw\, slick-tongued persona of That Mexican OT. With his Texas Technician tour in full swing\, new singles like the Denzel Curry vivacious team up “Black Flag Freestyle\,” and a new project he says has some of his most eclectic music to date\, That Mexican OT has all the support and momentum to ascend to Southern rap royalty\, and position himself as a new leader for Texas rap\, and beyond. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout DrodiDRODi is a dynamic figure in the independent hip-hop scene\, with a growing portfolio of music and a strong digital presence. The film not only highlights lives forever changed through these experiences but also reveals a profound truth: healing is never one-sided. \n\n\n\nDiscussion follows each film and then the closing keynote with Temple. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n	Related

SUMMARY:Hot Tuna at The Wilma
DESCRIPTION:Logjam Presents welcomes Hot Tuna for a live concert performance at The Wilma in Downtown Missoula at 8:00 pm Saturday\, September 13\n\n\n\n\n\nDoors @ 7:00 pm \n\n\n\nLogjam Presents welcomes Hot Tuna for a live concert performance at The Wilma in Downtown Missoula at 8:00 pm Saturday\, September 13. \n\n\n\nTickets on sale at Logjam Presents Box Offices and online while supplies last.  This is a fully-seated event with reserved floor seating\, reserved standard balcony seating and reserved premium balcony seating tickets are available. Pricing on the floor varies based on location. All ages are welcome. \n\n\n\nTake a look at these tips to best prepare yourself for a smooth ticket buying experience. \n\n\n\nAdditional ticketing and venue information can be found here. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout Hot TunaThe name Hot Tuna invokes as many different moods and reactions as there are Hot Tuna fans — millions of them. To some\, Hot Tuna is a reminder of some wild and happy times. To others\, that name will forever be linked to their own discovery of the power and depth of American blues and roots music. To newer fans\, Hot Tuna is a tight\, masterful duo that is on the cutting edge of great music. \n\n\n\nAll of those things are correct\, and more. For more than four decades\, Hot Tuna has played\, toured\, and recorded some of the best and most memorable acoustic and electric music ever. And Hot Tuna is still going strong — some would say stronger than ever. \n\n\n\nThe two kids from 1950s Washington\, D.C. knew that they wanted to make music. Jorma Kaukonen\, son of a State Department official\, and Jack Casady\, whose father was a dentist\, discovered guitar when they were teenagers (Jack\, four years younger\, barely so). They played\, and they took in the vast panorama of music available in the nation’s capital\, but found a special love of the blues\, country\, and jazz played in small clubs. \n\n\n\nJorma went off to college\, while Jack sat in with professional bands and combos before he was even old enough to drive\, first playing lead guitar\, then electric bass. \n\n\n\nIn the mid-1960s\, Jorma was invited to play in a rock‘n’roll band that was forming in San Francisco; he knew just the guy to play bass and summoned his old friend from back east. The striking signature guitar and bass riffs in the now-legendary songs by the Jefferson Airplane were the result. \n\n\n\nThe half-decade foray into 1960s San Francisco rock music was for Jack and Jorma an additional destination\, not the final one. They continued to play their acoustic blues on the side\, sometimes performing a mini-concert amid a Jefferson Airplane performance\, sometimes finding a gig afterward in some local club. They were\, as Jack says\, “Scouting\, always scouting\, for places where we could play.” \n\n\n\nThe duo did not go unnoticed\, and soon there was a record contract and not long afterward a tour. Thus began a career that would result in more than two-dozen albums\, thousands of concerts around the world\, and continued popularity. \n\n\n\nHot Tuna has gone through changes\, certainly. A variety of other instruments\, from harmonica to fiddle to keyboards\, have been part of the band over the years\, and continue to be\, varying from project to project. The constant\, the very definition of Hot Tuna\, has always been Jorma and Jack. \n\n\n\nThe two are not joined at the hip\, though; through the years\, both Jorma and Jack have undertaken projects with other musicians and solo projects of their own. But Hot Tuna has never broken up\, never ceased to exist\, nor have the two boyhood pals ever wavered in one of the most enduring friendships in music. \n\n\n\nAlong the way\, they have been joined by a succession of talented musicians: Drummers\, harmonica players\, keyboardists\, backup singers\, violinists and more\, all fitting with Jorma and Jack’s current place in the musical spectrum. Jorma and Jack certainly could not have imagined\, let alone predicted\, where the playing would take them. It’s been a long and fascinating road to numerous\, exciting destinations. Two things have never changed: They still love playing as much as they did as kids in Washington\, D.C. and there are still many\, many exciting miles yet to travel on their musical odyssey. \n\n\n\n\n	Related

SUMMARY:flipturn - The Burnout Days Tour with Sun Room at The Wilma
DESCRIPTION:Logjam Presents welcomes flipturn for a live concert performance with Sun Room at The Wilma in Downtown Missoula at 8:00 pm Wednesday\, August 6\n\n\n\n\n\nDoors @ 7:00 pm \n\n\n\nLogjam Presents welcomes flipturn for a live concert performance with Sun Room at The Wilma in Downtown Missoula at 8:00 pm Wednesday\, August 6. \n\n\n\nTickets on sale at Logjam Presents Box Offices and online while supplies last. All tickets are general admission standing room only. All ages are welcome. \n\n\n\nTake a look at these tips to best prepare yourself for a smooth ticket buying experience. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout flipturnFor flipturn\, success didn’t arrive overnight. The band\, comprised of Dillon Basse (lead vocals\, guitar)\, Tristan Duncan (lead guitar)\, Mitch Fountain (synth\, guitar)\, Madeline Jarman (bass)\, and Devon VonBalson (drums)\, grew steadily with every gig\, from college house shows in their home state of Florida to festival appearances at Bonnaroo\, Lollapalooza\, and Austin City Limits\, to national recognition from Jimmy Kimmel Live\, ABC News\, and The Washington Post – earning the Jacksonville-based band an international reputation as an indie rock powerhouse. By the time flipturn released their debut album\, Shadowglow\, they’d become genuine road warriors while still in their mid-20s\, supporting the record with a nonstop string of tour dates. That dizzying experience inspired the band’s second release\, Burnout Days. Caught halfway between 21st century indie rock\, New Wave-inspired nostalgia\, and rhythmic alt-pop\, Burnout Days finds the beauty that exists between five friends\, even in times of burnout. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout Sun RoomBorn and raised in SoCal’s surf-rock scene\, Sun Room (Luke Asgian\, Ashton Minnich and Max Pinamonti) quickly went from getting the cops called on them for playing too loudly at house shows to performing their music in sold out rooms across dozens of countries. \n\n\n\nAfter a series of unexpected viral moments\, two of their songs were included on the hit Netflix series ‘Outer Banks’ which continued the wave of excitement online. Within just six months of the band forming\, Sun Room went on to sell out a run of shows across the US\, support Louis Tomlinson’s North and South American tours\, and support Inhaler in Europe. \n\n\n\nMaking their way back to the US in Fall 2022\, Sun Room embarked on their first headline tour across North America\, selling over 13\,000 tickets. Getting back on the road in Spring 2023\, the band toured the US with Inhaler\, then went straight into their own headline run. \n\n\n\nAfter returning home to San Diego for the summer\, Sun Room finished their EP At Least I Tried — A 4 track EP produced by Zac Carper from FIDLAR\, one of the band’s biggest influences growing up in the California DIY scene. The project was met with great responses from the public\, scoring playlist covers across DSPs\, a highlight from Iggy Pop on BBC6 and DIY Mag describing them as “a band so unashamedly indebted to the garage rock’n’ roll of decades past…” The project dropped as the band kicked off their second headline tour across all of North America\, playing in over 30 cities\, before finally jetting off to Australia for a headline tour and series of festivals from December 2023 to January 2024. \n\n\n\nComing off a headline run and festival circuit in Spring 2024\, Sun Room has most recently released their EP Can’t Explain following the singles “Hate It When You Call” and “Get Me Outta New York City.” The EP arrives just before the band is set to join Dayglow on his fall headline tour for 20+ dates across the US. \n\n\n\nIn 2023\, Sun Room gained over 500k followers across social media with a steady flow of global listeners that continue to grow as they experiment with their sound\, play in new cities\, and pull influences from the unique experiences they have encountered in just three years of being a band. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n	Related

The LA band began 2020 by touring in support of their record released the previous year\, Widow’s Weeds. But the pandemic halted those plans\, with the members including guitarist and singer Brian Aubert\, bassist Nikki Monninger\, drummer Christopher Guanlao\, and keyboardist Joe Lester\, finding themselves stuck at home. In that resting period\, Aubert wasn’t focused on Silversun Pickups; instead\, he channeled his energy into taking care of his son\, Nico\, while his wife Tracy worked. \n\n\n\nBut as much as his focus initially shifted from the band\, he couldn’t escape the new melodies germinating in his head. “I would sneak off and start writing these songs\, and I didn’t know what they’re for because I didn’t really think about Silversun on any level. I was just doing it to keep myself calm and keep myself company\,” says Aubert. The songs were so different from what he’d previously written for Silversun Pickups that he initially thought he was writing a musical. There were “dream shanties\,” gentler vocals\, horror-inspired sounds\, and other exciting new elements coming to mind. \n\n\n\nThe band finally was able to gather in person for a live-streamed acoustic performance on Halloween for The Dark Zone Network’s virtual music festival Queen Mary\, and it was there that Aubert revealed the new material to his bandmates. They readily embraced the new direction—and so did producer Butch Vig. The band reunited with Vig\, who first worked with Silversun Pickups on Widow’s Weeds\, recording the record at the famed producer and Garbage member’s home. \n\n\n\nWhen Aubert first reached out to Vig\, he wasn’t sure if the band was making an EP or a full record; Widow’s Weeds was still fresh for Silversun Pickups. But once Aubert made plans to visit Vig and play him what he had\, the music began pouring out. He immediately began recording with Vig\, later having the rest of the band join. \n\n\n\nOnce the band began working on Physical Thrills together\, they made some of Silversun Pickups’ most stunning songs yet. The record doesn’t depart drastically from the sound the band’s fans know and love\, but rather enhances it with previously-unexplored fixtures at play. \n\n\n\nPhysical Thrills was colored by the pandemic\, but isn’t meant to be solemn; instead\, Aubert explores his own comfort in the temporary\, newfound isolation. There’s a juxtaposition of playfulness with angst from having so much time to process untapped emotions. That’s something that comes through in the album’s instrumentation\, too\, with wide-ranging sounds that transform according to the weight of the lyrics. \n\n\n\nThere are tracks with shoegaze-infused distorted synths and guitar\, like opener “Stillness (Way Beyond)”; bouncy\, pop-tinged danceable tunes (“Empty Nest\,” “Hereafter (Way After)”); pared-down ballads (“Alone On A Hill”); and a collection of “dream shanties\,” as Aubert refers to them. \n\n\n\nThe titles of those shanties call back to “Dream At Tempo 119” off the band’s 2006 debut record\, Carnavas\, tying the band’s beginnings with the current\, evolved iteration of Silversun Pickups. But\, this time\, the instrumentation matches the lyrics. Aubert forgoes the heavy guitars to instead create magical lullabies: “Dream At Tempo 050\,” “Dream At Tempo 310\,” and “Dream At Tempo 150.” Each carries a secret code in the title with numbers personal to Aubert. \n\n\n\nWith such an exploratory record\, the band members felt free to traverse new ground. Guanlao\, who usually shies away from fills on drums\, took inspiration from The Beatles documentary Get Back\, throwing some into Physical Thrills\, influenced by Ringo Starr’s work on Let It Be. Whereas for Monninger\, this record allowed her to showcase her vocals at the forefront more than in previous work. Joe also took a larger role in composition on this record\, writing the piano part for “We Won’t Come Out\,” which became the backbone for the song. \n\n\n\nThe making of Physical Thrills also allowed for whimsical moments\, including Aubert creating a distinct tapping noise by incorporating the sound of drumsticks hitting Vig’s Grammy in “Hidden Moon\,” and playfully pelting balloons at Monninger while she played “Hereafter (Way After)” on bass to create less tension. \n\n\n\nWhile this record features such an eclectic mix of melodies\, each song is interconnected with each other\, meant to be experienced as a whole body of work. “All of our records are designed for people who want to listen to them all the way through and hopefully stick around with it\,” says Aubert. “After a while\, maybe you’ll catch on to the little things—not just the [pattern of] the dream songs\, but maybe you’ll hear that\, and you’ll hear a melody from the first song in the last song. There are crossover things happening.” \n\n\n\nLester says\, “Physical Thrills is exactly the record that we wanted to make\, which I’m really stoked about because sometimes you look back and think\, ‘Well\, that’s maybe not exactly how we would have done it’ when you go back and listen to it years later.’ But I feel really proud of this one. I think the songs that Nikki sings on are like the best ones we’ve done for her to sing on. The lyrics are better than they’ve ever been.” \n\n\n\nMonninger adds\, “We’ve been together for twenty-two years; it’s really interesting that we still love doing this. We know that we’re fortunate to still be together after all these years\, seeking out the silver lining. I feel like we still have many more things to say\, and we’re so happy with how this album turned out.” \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout Girl TonesGirl Tones\, of planet earth\, are a high-energy rock duo brought to life by sisters Kenzie and Laila. Both classically trained musicians\, Kenzie transitioned from cello to guitar and Laila from piano to drums in an effort to electrify sentient beings from this galaxy to the next. \n\n\n\nFor fans of Nirvana\, The White Stripes\, Sleater-Kinney and more. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n	Related
