This event is 21+. \n\n\n\nAdditional venue information can be found here. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout North Fork CrossingNorth Fork Crossing is a new-age Bluegrass band that resides between the Traditional music world with their timeless fiddle tunes and ballads\, and the Jamgrass community with their intricate improvisation and energetic peaks. With the addition of modern covers and old time country songs\, they explore a vast terrain of genres. Their captivating shows are everchanging and will leave you dancing and wondering what they could possibly do next. \n\n\n\nFounded in 2021\, North Fork Crossing was formed out of a rekindled friendship formed at Montana Fiddle Camp. It has since grown into powerful five piece band. The quintet — Cade Slayden (guitar)\, Ryan Kelly (mandolin)\, Rabi Phelan (upright bass)\, Silas Rea (fiddle)\, and Matt Hickey (banjo) — are drawn to having Bluegrass reach a new generation\, priding themselves on their unique sound as the evolution of string band music. They have quickly made their presence known around the West\, most notably in the beautiful Gallatin Valley where they are based. \n\n\n\nNorth Fork Crossing has recently released their debut\, self-titled album. North Fork Crossing (2024) explores the Bozeman band’s origins\, consisting of songs played live since their inception. This includes original fiddle tunes\, high-paced exploratory bluegrass\, and ballads focused on songwriting and precision. The album continues his tradition of deeply personal songwriting while drawing from the country\, folk and western sounds that have shaped his career. His newest and fourth full-length album\, Blue Stars\, with longtime label La Honda Records\, visits all of the influences and moods of his previous releases. \n\n\n\nAfter his first album\, Fried Chicken & Evil Women\, Emerson built a reputation for live music\, finding his grass roots audience night after night. The loyalty among his audience can be attributed to his songwriting\, and the innate gift of experienced lyrics. His self-titled 2021 release\, as well as The Golden Crystal Kingdom in 2023\, further cemented that foundation\, drawing praise from the producers he worked with on each of those records\, Rodney Crowell\, and Shooter Jennings\, respectively. \n\n\n\nWith his fourth album\, Blue Stars\, Vincent brings together the distinct sound from all three of his previous releases. Produced by Patrick Lyons and recorded at Gnome Studios in Nashville\, TN\, the record benefits from Lyons’ deeply intuitive approach\, having been close friends with Vincent for many years. For Emerson\, it was important to capture the sound from the road as closely as possible\, enlisting his touring Red Horse Band to play on the album. \n\n\n\n“I’ve known Patrick for years and going into the studio with him felt like a big family kind of thing with my band.” \n\n\n\nBlue Stars features 13 original songs and is a testament to his songwriting prowess. Raised by his grandparents after the death of his mother at age three\, he took on the form of an “Old Soul.” This is evident in his musical heroes\, which include Elvis Presley\, Roger Miller\, Hank Williams\, Bob Dylan\, and many more. After attending South Dakota State University\, where he played football\, he decided his true passion was writing and singing. A true-to-life cowpoke with real-life experiences in the western world has provided him with plenty of material to write.
