After meeting at the XXXX’s\, we’ll head up and over the train tracks on the pedestrian bridge\, through neighborhoods\, past the cemetery to Reserve. After crossing Reserve beyond I-90\, we hop on the beautiful Grant Creek Trail to its end approximately three miles up\, turn around and grab dinner (always optional) in town on our way back. This is a relatively flat ride except for the climb up over the train tracks. Meetup at the Downtown XXXX’s on North Higgins at 5:30 pm. An alternative meetup location is at the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation which is near the start of the Grant Creek bike trail at approximately 6:00 pm (5705 Grant Creek Road). We’ll have one of our riders there to meet anyone who would just like to do this out-and-back section with us. All bikes are suitable for this ride. This time of year we should not need bike lights as mother nature provides a nice long afternoon/evening.
