Veterans Day Weekend PICKS: Thursday, November 11th thru Sunday, November 14th
Veteran’s Day weekend is here, and there’s no more important day than Thursday to observe those who sacrificed their lives for the freedoms we enjoy.
We have a listing of many of the Veteran’s Day observances happening in Missoula and around Western Montana. Try to take a little time to attend, and take the opportunity to thank the veterans in our lives for their service.
If you happen to have Thursday off for the holiday, Glacier National Park will have FREE entry all day. Gonna be a beautiful wintry autumn day to go…
What else is happening? Lots!
Holiday craft fairs season is in full swing all the way from the Bitterroot, up through Missoula, to the far ends of the Flathead. For those of you grinches who feel it’s too soon to start thinking about Christmas, well, there’s a ton of Thanksgiving stuff at all these events as well.
Saturday morning will be the launch of the Missoula Valley Winter Market inside the halls of Southgate Mall, near the new Westside entrance behind Scheels.
There’s music at all the regular places all around, all the way through the weekend. And there’s no shortage of really great fine arts events to choose from as well.
Get out and enjoy our locally-owned bars & restaurants with Montana grown / made food and beverages. Sing your favorite karaoke song, or catch a live show. Enjoy safely and responsibly.
Please note that events are subject to cancellation or change at the last minute. Be sure to check the event links to confirm your plans.
“A hero is someone who understands the responsibility that comes with his freedom.”
– Bob Dylan

Mr. Fox simply cannot resist. Wes Anderson’s adaptation of Roald Dahl’s classic children’s novel is a meticulous work of stop-motion animation featuring vibrant performances by George Clooney, Meryl Streep, Jason Schwartzman, Willem Dafoe, Michael Gambon, and Bill Murray.

Zootown Arts Community Center
216 W Main Street, Missoula, Montana
To purchase advance tickets visit: https://showroom.zootownarts.org/…/play-it-forward-vol…/
Earlier in 2021, KBGA College Radio and the Zootown Arts Community Center (ZACC) teamed up to create ‘Play It Forward’, a music series and podcast program curated to unite and uplift community artists and organizations in Missoula. Originally a live-streamed performance, Play It Forward is now in-person! For each show the ZACC and KBGA partner with a different organization and host local music performed at the ZACC Show Room, with proceeds going to that month’s organization. November’s performance boasts two single acts, Brennan Walker, and Larysa Blavatsky. They’ll be playing in support of the Montana Natural History Center, which serves a vital and unique role in Montana conservation – connecting people of all ages with the natural world and educating them about the intricacies and beauty of natural systems, leading to a greater appreciation and understanding of nature and creating stewards for present and future generations.
Masks are required for attendees for all Show Room events at this time. Masks may be removed for beverage consumption, but we ask that they please be worn at any time when not actively drinking.
