Orchard Homes Farmers Market
2537 S 3rd St W
Missoula, Montana
We started this market in 2007 and have been growing every year!
We are a small, local market located in the parking lot of the Orchard Homes’ Country Life Club. Selling produce has been part of the Country Life Club’s history for 100 years! We are proud to continue the legacy.
We offer produce, crafts, jams and jellies, baked goods, jewelry, flowers and other items. All the produce at the market comes from within Orchard Homes and travels less than a mile to get to market! Now, THAT is fresh!
If you want to get to know your farmer, this is a great market to do that! There is a great community between all the vendors and we LOVE our customers.
Come and be a part of 100 years of agricultural history in Orchard Homes this summer!

Dusty Drennon on the Patio at Draught Works
Draught Works Brewery
915 Toole Avenue – Missoula, Montana
“I come from a DIY and blue-collar background, and I was a soldier. I’ll do the work, all of it. I’ll write, sing, play. I’ll design, make the art. Hell, I’ll mop the floors at the end of the night! I want to be dependable as a songwriter and a musician. God-willing, I’ll be seventy-something years old, still writing, still putting out music.”
This particular songwriter emerged from decade of frustrations. There was a bad, bad woman, a recession, even a war. In the midst of the war, the man said to himself, “I should be writing and playing music. If I get out of here, that’s what I’ll do.

And Lolo. And, since the summer of 2013, after months of hard-working rehearsals, we’re adding the funnest of miles to our odometer. We play well-known and little-known songs from our favorite music libraries of artists that include Ray Charles, the original Moody Blues, Everly Brothers, Moonglows and our own tunes. Veteran musicians Carla (bass, guitar), Eric (rhythm and lead guitar) and Marlene (guitar, bass) form this harmonious trio that makes you wonder where all that percussion is coming from without a drummer. We just might get you tapping your feet or swing-dancing with a partner. It’s been known to happen.

Ruth Gordon – Maude.
Friday, August 28 – Sunday, August 30
8:30 PM – 10:30 PM
Harold and Maude in The Roxy Garden
The Roxy Theater Annex
730 S Higgins Ave, Missoula, Montana
With the idiosyncratic American fable Harold and Maude, countercultural director Hal Ashby fashioned what would become the cult classic of its era. Working from a script by Colin Higgins, Ashby tells the story of the emotional and romantic bond between a death-obsessed young man (Bud Cort) from a wealthy family and a devil-may-care, bohemian octogenarian (Ruth Gordon). Equal parts gallows humor and romantic innocence, Harold and Maude dissolves the line between darkness and light along with the ones that separate people by class, gender, and age, and it features indelible performances and a remarkable soundtrack by Cat Stevens.
Sponsored by Submittable
Please note: The Garden is located behind The Roxy Annex at 730 S. Higgins. Parking is available in front of The Roxy Theater or on 5th and 6th Streets; please do not park in the Humble Building parking lot. No outside food or drink, or dogs, permitted. Masks are required everywhere in the Garden whenever you are not actively eating or drinking. Seating is limited, so please buy tickets online to ensure you’ll have a spot! http://www.theroxytheater.org/films/harold-and-maude/

Social Distance Sessions: The Best Westerns
Online Event #virtualmissoula
The Best Westerns are a beloved Missoula dirt wave country act, and the previous project of acclaimed solo artist Izaak Opatz (Mariachi Static). Having all moved to different cities and towns, getting to watch a Best Westerns performance is about as rare as a moose sighting in Greenough Park. Lucky us! They are taking this pandemic time to (finally) record some of their best songs, and put out a new album. Like their previous album, ‘High Country’, this one will also be recorded by the one and only Christopher Baumann — this time at the ZACC! Help them out by watching and donating to the performance’s Givebutter campaign. The ZACC pays out 70% of all funds raised to performers or a charity of their choice.
Donate with Venmo, Paypal, or a plain old credit card at the following link: https://givebutter.com/8fqCP3
The Best Westerns is the third performance in our new series — ‘Social Distance Sessions’ — a live-stream production partnership between the ZACC and Missoula’s Community Media Resource (MCAT). Shows will be streamed to the ZACC’s Youtube and Facebook, and from MCAT’s website. Home audience members are asked to donate to the ZACC’s Givebutter if able (use Venmo, Paypal, or a credit/debit card).

Help us keep our beloved Clark Fork River clean!
Calling all river-loving volunteers! The Missoula PaddleHeads are organizing their 1st Annual River Cleanup along the shores of our beloved Clark Fork River. Anyone interested in preserving the health of our river after another summer of world-class recreation should join us at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, August 30th at Ogren Park Allegiance Field. Volunteers will receive supplies, river section assignments, and a post-clean up lunch at the ballpark.
Registration is FREE, but imperative for this event. Please register https://www.milb.com/missoula/ballpark/river-clean-up
Volunteers are encouraged to bring their bikes, scooters, or versatile walking shoes if they are willing to accept river zones further from the stadium. Anyone with mobility concerns will be given priority for assignments closer to the ballpark. All trash and recyclables will be returned to the ballpark and disposed of properly by Republic Services.
After the cleanup, volunteers will be treated to lunch from a Missoula favorite, Five on Black. Additionally, there will be prizes awarded for most weight collected and the strangest item found. Volunteers are encouraged to eat their complimentary lunches on our field and enjoy a screening of award-winning river documentaries. Local beer and cider will be available for purchase.
