As Missoula and western Montana continue to emerge from the extended hibernation forced by the COVID-19 lockdown, events and activities are cautiously beginning to come back in a tentative way, if not yet in full swing like we’d ordinarily be enjoying this time of year. This weekend marks the end of the “Phase 1” of state mandated reopening rules.
And the weather’s gonna be – dare we say it? – hot!

Class of 2020 Grad Cruise
Starting at Rosauers parking lot
2350 S. Reserve Street, Missoula
Friday, May 29th will be a street cruise honoring all Missoula and Frenchtown valley graduating seniors. The cruise will feature all seniors and their rides, new or old, trucks or cars, whatever you drive or choose to cruise in. The class of 2020 seniors participating will meet in the Rosauers parking lot at 7:00pm to get their vehicles ready for the cruise. Show off your accomplishments and decorate your vehicle with Class of 2020 decorations. Be sure to be respectful and make sure to pick up after yourself. We will be doing one parade-style lap down Reserve Street starting at 7:30pm, be sure to keep in the curbside lane to allow normal traffic as well as emergency traffic to pass by. Make sure to be respectful of other people while driving, let’s also be respectful of other peoples’ rides, this is a fun event for us to all come together and celebrate!

Cycle Crafts Workshops – “Bike Bags”
When your bike wants a spring upgrade, you don’t have to spend money or become a gearhead, in fact, you don’t even have to leave your house! Learn to be comfortable personalizing your ride with DIY bike upgrades in this Missoula Bike Month workshop series. Workshops feature creative, practical projects made with items you probably have lying around. Can’t find the materials we’re using or don’t have a lot of experience crafting? We are here to help you find a way to make it work. Meetings will take place on Zoom.
