Miller Campbell
MontaVino Winery
38 1st Avenue E, Suite D. Kalispell, Montana
Billboard Charting Americana Artist, Miller Campbell, highlights her southern roots (Miller is part of the legendary Glen Campbell family) with a special new show. Armed with a voice at turns clear and bright as high mountain air and round, warm, and rough in all the right places, Campbell sings with a natural assuredness usually only found in artists with decades of experience. Named the Next Woman of Country Music by CMT in 2018, and one of the top 15 country artists to watch in 2021, she brings a unique edge back into the southern rock scene. From festivals and rodeos, to country bars and honky-tonks, fans are giving themselves over to an act that writes from the heart and sings from the soul.

Thursday Night Mountain Bike Ride Missoula
Missoula, Montana
Main Corridor to the Rattlesnake Wilderness
For the last couple of weeks we’ve tackled big single track climbs to Missoula high points. This week we’ll change it up with a spin up the Rattlesnake Main Corridor all the way to the Wilderness boundary. It’s 8 miles to Franklin bridge and a bit over 14 miles to the end of the corridor. Since it’s an out and back, people can ride as far as they like. But if you have never been to the end this is a great time to see Missoula’s “backyard” Wilderness. The scenery changes dramatically past Franklin bridge. There’s plenty of water sources along the way if you want to pack a filtration device to save some weight on the ride in. If you plan on going all the way bring a light along, just in case…
Meet at the Rattlesnake Main Trailhead.
TNR! – Weekly mountain bike rides in Missoula every Thursday Night starting at 6 pm sharp – a different location every week. Arrive prepared to ride, please carry enough to be self-sufficient. Rides are open. Check http://thursdaynightmtbr.org for weekly current meetup location details.

By James Hindman and Jeffrey Lodin
Presented by special arrangement with Stage Rights (www.stagerights.com)
A musical love letter honoring our Vets, written by James Hindman and Jeffrey Lodin. Nicknamed “The Pin–Up Girls” by a grandpa of one of the singers (when they were all sixth-graders), this trio of adult hometown gals (and a brother who fills in at the last minute) is full of nostalgia and pride for all who served in the U.S. Military. With tunes ranging from the Andrew Sisters to Hip-Hop, the foursome sings a cavalcade of hits inspired by letters home from our troops, paying tribute to times of conflict from WWI through Afghanistan and in between.

Pale People is Missoula’s worst-kept secret. An eccentric piano-rock quartet with a varied oeuvre, from soft confessionals to howling rants about the lonely and insane. Better than sex. Cheaper than therapy. More fun than you can shake a stick at. Transcendental Express (now a 5-piece, having transcended their previous earthly form) draw from an incredible well of musical influences (a bit of jazz, a smidge of psych, definitely a dash of hip-hop) to create a deeply textured sound all their own.

Rob Gordon (John Cusack) is the owner of a failing record store in Chicago, where he sells music the old-fashioned way — on vinyl. Although they have an encyclopedic knowledge of pop music and are consumed by the music scene, it’s of no help to Rob, whose needle skips the love groove when his long-time girlfriend, Laura (Iben Hjejle), walks out on him. As he examines his failed attempts at romance and happiness, the process finds him being dragged, kicking and screaming, into adulthood.
