Missoula Funk Festival is a donation-based community event with the main goal being to benefit local businesses and local musicians, as well as to build community and help keep the funky character of Missoula alive through quality, fun local music.

This festival is completely run through KEEP MISSOULA FUNKY, a local 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to developing and producing public art & cultural events while advocating for and supporting local artists and musicians, and celebrating the value and importance of diversity in Montana to enhance the vitality of arts, music & culture in the Missoula area.
