Sunday Streets Missoula returns to Higgins Avenue!
The 1-mile route from the XXXXs to 5th Street features the new Beartracks Bridge and will include live music, parklets, free fitness classes, car-free streets, restaurants & local food options located along the route, and dozens of businesses and organizations hosting all-abilities activities! Show up any time Sunday, August 20 between Noon to 4:00 pm. This event is free and fun for everyone!
Sunday Streets events motivate people of all ages and all abilities to be active, support local businesses, and rethink how our community can be more livable. It’s an opportunity to temporarily close the streets to cars and open them to walkers and rollers; allowing Missoula to experience our streets in a whole new way, encouraging community and building support for broader transportation choices.

Our Mission:The Missoula Underground is a hyper-local blog about the best the Missoula area has to offer: food/beverages, music, events, activities, local people and business.
Hyper-local means we don’t write about anything that isn't owned or locally managed or operated in the Missoula area. No corporate chains or businesses operated by investment groups from out of Montana.
We have a growing all-volunteer team of bloggers and contributors. We’re here because we care about our beloved Missoula area and want to showcase the best of what's here and what we love to do.
When you share our articles, you become part of a force for good in and around Missoula.
